In Summer 2021, a fire broke out on the top floor of an Old English pub.
With the roof destroyed and the stability of the property compromised, the Owners of the Old Pub could not return to rescue their items due to safety concerns!

WOW! They had to leave so much behind. Thanks for the tour of the shambles, Alex, Ned, Steve, and of course Eddy! See ya next week!
It's not a patch on what happened to The Crooked House at Himley near Dudley West Midlands!!!😢
Yes beautiful view outside. What a great find. Thanks again for all you do❤
Hi Alex, one thing I really love about your channel ,is the variety of locations. I have always loved the UK, and you have shown me, via your videos, so many beautiful locations & miltary history. I am ex Royal Australia Navy Intelligence, (1986-1996)...so love your videos relating to Com Cen bunkers...they are very similar to the surroundings I worked in during those years. Thank you for putting in the time and professional effort in each vudeo. Please dont stop. I know I will keep watching. Take care. Debbi from Western Australia 🇦🇺🌏😁👍
Aww I love Edd, he calls everyone “ mush “ and my dear old Dad used to do the same, I Havnt heard anyone else say it for such a long time. Another brilliant explore Alex, keep em coming “ mush” 👍🤭🥰🐾
Cheers Mushty!
We will keep em coming as long as people keep watching 😁👍
What can I say,
You guys show us so much respect to these sites you go too.
Question have you full in love with a site and you wish you could buy it and do it up.
Keep up with the great work you guys are showing us out there.
Shame to see those drums wasting away in there. I say go back and get ‘em Ned
You four are so hilarious and so entertaining! Another great explore! We here in the US do believe the pubs are the heartbeat of the UK❣️Loved the tiles on the fireplace and the color of the walls! Looked to be a very comfy place! Seems they had good taste w/ the yogurts & cheese, LOL! Good selection of spirits! Such a shame they had a fire and it all ended! So glad you all found it and were able to explore and show us the vibe of a modern pub. Lovely view and tasty menu! Even the bathrooms were impressive! The drums & keyboard! Very sad! So, so much left behind! Really wish it could be salvaged! Stay safe and thank you for continuing to share so much for everyone to enjoy❣️Tour de France at the end was beyond! 😂
As long as all the wine and beer down there stays cool then it is still good.👍
Loved it tonight well done to Ned with the drums a good tune shame what a waste of a lovely place can’t wait till next Sunday thank you guys
Six fire engines attended the fire on 20th July 2021 at 8.19 pm
These are a great bunch of guys and I love this channel. They carry on when the original owners quit! 😊
Greetings from the U.S. Another great explore and with the whole team!
The branch seat would be coming home with me!
You guys please be safe and careful.😊👍🙏
There looks like a lot of things are still salvageable.
I’m still trying to spot the pheasant and I miss Ned’s puffa jacket! 🤣🤣
Brill explore guys, still lots of stuff left in there, it was sad to see the drums just left, love your explores looking forward to next Sunday
I’ve just been reading the all the terrible reviews of this place on google maps just before the fire happened. A great video as always guys 👍😎
We're about is it ???
Good morning. Good to see you guys again and Steve.😊👍
I bet that was a busy pub back in the day. Can imagine that beer garden/ veranda packed on a summers evening
That was good to watch but it broke Neds heart, he may go back in the dead of night lol 😂😂😂
If he don't some one else's will,I hope he does go and get them,x
I agree.@@amandamaggs7621
@@amandamaggs7621
No. There is is to leave the place as it is found. They remove nothing. That would be a criminal act. These guys abide by their respect and genuine interest in the find! They never take a thing!!
I bet that was a very nice pub to frequent back in the day. It is sad. It would cost quite a lot to rebuild that place back to it's glory days. That overlook would have been quite the view I bet.
Went a few times. Nice place. Always surprised when I pass by that it has not been salvaged or turned into housing.
Lovely place can't wait to see where else u go xxx
Thankyou for another awesome find
Wow so cool. Can't wait for the next adventure.
Cooking books look like they are all still good.👍
U guys always find something cool.
Hi from 🇨🇦.Amazing find .Thanks for the video .
What a😭pub ,thank you for letting us see it
Thank you to Alex Ned Eddy and Steve for turning a burnt pub into a very interesting explore . Was Ned ever in a band , as he seems to be at home with drums , Here Here . Steve is the smart one , he keeps his hands in his pockets and leaves no traces behind . There was a ton of expensive stuff left behind , it was a shame as it will probably wind up rotting away . Till next time stay well , keep undercover , I cant wait to see what you do next . Stuart in Canada ..
Great watch.Such a shame so much stuff has just been left.
It seems that they tried to fundraise to save it.
*goes back to get drum kits and bottles of wine in cellar*
Great tour and video. That place must've been pretty nice, back before the fire. Stay safe fellas 🎉
This would have been a beautiful pub!!🇨🇦
Looking at the state of decay in that building, you'd have thought it would have been abandoned for over 10 years, especially where the walls and floors have collapsed and the greenery has started to sprout all over the place - but its crazy to think that according to the news it happened on 20th July 2021, as you say in the description, summer 2021, that means its only taken 2 and a half years for that level of rot to set in. It is also crazy that the place is still allowed to stand there in that state with it being such a beautiful area - the local residents must be up in arms about having to drive past it. Also, to leave musical instruments there in that container is such a criminal waste - I hope someone sees this video and goes there to "rescue" them as it seems no-one else is bothered what happens to them.
Could have been an insurance job seeing as this happened during the height of Covid 19 lockdowns and the place would have been closed and making no money. Real shame.
from the reviews i've read on this place from 3 years ago, 6 years ago and more this was clearly not a very well run place and i could see why they made no money, before during and after covid, id say it problaby was an insurance job
Makes me think of pub that was put back in business
Really enjoyed that one guy's it's had a lot of potential at one time sad to see it going to waste, can't wait for the next one guy's 🤟🤟🤟

That was an interesting explore. Have to agree that it would have been an awesome pub back in the day. It's sad that they couldn't go back and save anything. Good on Neddy for having a hit on the drums.
Great video thanks everyone 👍
Missed the live lads didn't notice it advertised. Catching up now Cheers
Wowwwwww. It's like an Aladyns cave.
Well at least we know there's plenty of alcohol still there.😁😂😋🍺🥃
Great 👍 video thanks everyone 👏
This looks like another good one 😮😎
Looks like it used to be a nice pub till the fire happened.😊😢
Clapton lives next door.
what a gorgeous view, such a shame its been left to rot. Thanks guys xxx
What a shame especially with that beautiful view. Shame the drums are being left to rot. Nice to see ned again along with Steve too. Thanks guys. ❤
Evening all ❤️
Are you boys brothers? Great explore, you all look a like 😎
Alex and Ned are twins
@@maz121able
Are they really? Wow. Didnt know but am not surprised! Lol 🤗
@@nannyofmany8315 yes really Alex is the elder twin by 40 mins lol
I am stunned. I have been with VH for ages, And never knew that lolololol. Thank you. Lovely twins tho. Pleasantly surprised!
@@nannyofmany8315 double the trouble 😂😂😂
Steve is like that mate that's watched a film before you and tells you what's happening as you are seeing it for the first time.
The prawns had a date of 7/21
The date of the fire!
Greetings from Türkiye, we are following you my friend 👋👋
Just watched this one all the way from Australia….
This was a good explore, so much to look at!
You are my favourite explorers
Entertaining and down to earth
Feels like you are in the room the way you film it
What a shame about all that stuff
Just put the beer on ice and will be good to go.😋
Insurance job? Seems like they left a load of s### behind.
That was great 👍
Wow! Just brilliant!
Love the banter and the varity of destinations you guys provide. 😊
That is some seriously equipped Kitchen so they must have relied a lot on the catering. Those rationel ovens are worth thousands but they where serious cheaters given those cans of bisque and other bought in stuff that they passed off as home made. I enoy your content lads. Keep them coming :)
I think Ed has finally gone mad 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣
Yet another great video from you guys. As always I enjoyed this one and have just been checking out some interesting pics on Google maps showing what it looked like before the fire when they were still in business. Beautiful place with the views from the back garden decking area. So sad to see it now fallen to ruins. Thanks for posting.
Loved this one. You boys certainly seem to enjoy yourselves 🥰
"Colate Mint", pronounced "kol are tay". 😂
Or "Chocolate Mint" with a damaged label?
Made me smile.
That cylinder would have been CO², not oxygen, we used to have it delivered in cylinders to our social club, later we had a tank put in, which was refilled from a tanker lorry, saving heaving cylinders around.
I'm guessing this was a Free House, or the brewery would have been in taking all the salvageable stock away. Surprised that the locals haven't raided the place, tbh
❤❤❤
Love the mirror in the ladies also loved the two fireplaces Anna can imagine the wood outside with a glass top on it would look really nice 😊 I wonder if the telly still works😂
I bet that was a lovely pub back in its heyday. Always a shame to see pubs like this abandoned and destroyed by fire. Thanks Alex and crew, great explore, I love seeing old pubs, there was so many like this one back in the day sad that they are dying out with all these franchises taking over xx
I remember that pub very well,in the 70s it used to throb with people! Also Eric Claptons local.
Love old pubs.xx
That's my guys.......❤ It's Michelle b.
You could start a band, using all the cool, retro drum 🥁 kit.
Hello Alex and gang! Wow, what a place and the views out the back was beautiful! Such a shame that it is going to rot. Thank you for sharing. 😊❤
Another Great Exploration Alex really enjoyed it 👍
Great stuff Guy's. Ned was right about those Premier drums. They're collectors items now. What a shame they're left there to rot, or eventually end up in a skip along with a good quality Pearl kit. It's hard to reconcile that most of the contents will eventually be thrown away.. £1,000's worth of kitchenware etc. It's also thrown up another closely guarded secret with all that "homemade" tinned food 😅
