Brother Christos, meeting you in person one day in the future sounds so damn delectable scrumptiously deliciously edibly tasty good!! SAVOR the FLAVOR of the awesomeness in THAT!!
Thank you for the thorough rundown. I'm in the market for a jazz bass, and I no longer think a relatively simple bass like a jazz is worth what Fender is charging these days. Shipped to the states it runs about $900 USD which is significantly cheaper than the new MIM Vintera II line from Fender. How does this FGN compare to MIM Fender's you've owned?
Thank you, and my pleasure. I hear you and agree with your sentiments. Compared to the Fender MIM, the FGN is awesome and superior in quality, feel, and tone. Definitely recommend it. Keep ROCKING! 🤘🎸🎸🤘
- Nice bass. Japanese made Fender Squires from the 80’s are well sought after now in the US. I remember when music shops were full of them back in the 80s. They were considered a beginners bass at the time even though they were probably better quality than US models at the time. What happened to your butter cream Mexican made jazz bass?
Hey Brother! Yes, 80s made in Japan Squiers are excellent instruments, which professionals could use on the stage or in the studio. As for the MIM Butter Cream Jazz bass, I sold it to buy my made in Japan Traditional 60s Precision Bass. That's all I buy nowadays. Japanese made guitars and basses. Keep ROCKING! 🤘🎸🎸🤘
Hi there. Thank you for your kind words. Being FGN and the fact they manufactured Fender's Japanese line at one point, it would mirror Fender specifications. Which would be approximately 38.1mm. Keep ROCKING. 🤘🎸🎸🤘
Brother, great explanation of the bass!! Very informative!!
