I don't think i've ever seen leather that has been lived in like these shoes. I didn't know it could turn so many different shades. Its so cool to see all the wear and colors fade away as you clean them up.
This is more of a customization than restoration IMO, these look like they were hardly worn and the natural undyed leather would’ve darkened beautifully over time if given the chance. Cool to watch nonetheless, I guess.
I prefer the original colour too, thought it was just me! in the end the brown looked too patchy. I think the original was way nicer, just needed a new lace.
There was clearly stain on the shoe but only in areas thar were protected, like under the tag, laces, and folds. Cleaning the shoe and adding stain to return it to it’s original color is restoration, although you may not think it’s skillful or agree it was the best course of action.
The leather was never stained, the areas you’re pointing out are examples of the patina that’s began to form in higher wear areas. I do think it’s skillful and also understand the point of doing it, it’s just not a restoration lol. But it does look even newer in the end so there’s that

The patchiness of the colour while some might consider nice is definitely not the intended look for the shoe. I don't know why you're saying that there is no stain because those shoes had been previously dyed, and you can see remnants of it. On one side of the shoe, shown around 2:53 , that is 100% NOT a patina and definitely some kind of stain from the dye or the owner. At least look at the original shoe before trying to correct others.

I know the decapant is wonderful for removing the staining from the white sections of plastic and rubber on the shoes you clean, it made me wonder if it would also remove the yellowing on the clear plastic used on clear watch bands such as on your GShock? That yellowing is the only thing that puts me of these Jelly shocks and Swatch watches.
I kinda didn't like when you first damaged the leather with a harsh cleaning liquid and then stained it very darkly to I guess cover that up? The wear leather gets I find pretty and this leather didnt look in need of harsh cleaning to me.
Marle Snijders yeah so true but maybe that’s just what the customer asked , he often changes things when he restores and sometimes it end up looking really different from the original because the customer just asked that way.
Marle Snijders He never "covered" it up with the dark colour. The shoe is originally that dark, so it makes sense to return it to it's original colour. IDK what you're on about.
I used to have a pair of shoes similar to these. But I was young and didn't know how to clean them or what products I should have bought. Written tutorials or videos like these were almost none and youtube wasn't this way. If I choose to buy and wear this type of shoes again, I will follow this video to keep them more.

반대입니다. 먼지터는 용으로 돼지털이나 말털이고 슈크림 바르고 쓰는 솔을 말털로 사용하셔야 합니다. 말털이 마찰열이 쉽게 일어나서 슈크림을 잘 녹여서 마무리 작업 때 광이 훨씬 쉽게 나게 도와주게 됩니다 ㅎㅎ

Yes can be done but needs to take old color off or dull it a bit so the new color takes.
