Glad you mentioned the footwear. I’m gonna do the WHW at the end of April into May (6 days) and was swithering between my comfy Solomon trail trainers (with gators) or my not so comfy but practical Scarpa boots. Sounds like the shoes may be the way to go. Enjoyed the video mate 👍
I really can’t think of a section where even Gators are necessary tbh mate, it’s so well trodden! Have a brilliant hike 🙏
