This band is so mesmerising, They are totally in time with each other and make a beautiful sound, Rabbit is my favourite latest discovery who along with the rest of the band positivity shines, Her Brother The Spine has a voice that really rings out and has great stage presence.
Steam Powered Giraffes has come so far ;-; I'm so proud especially of the new member it couldn't have been easy joining such a great band but he's done so well merging in with the other two.
It took me way too long to realise that they didn't mean the place I where I go to Uni... For one exciting moment I thought they might come and do shows in the UK this year too.
Nocturnal Lion sadly they don't do it as distinctly anymore. They still do it a little bit and Rabbit still breaks down while singing Honeybee but that's about it.
Moving that way takes a lot of stamina and concentration since it's not a natural movement. The zoo and busking performances were much shorter and they could do a lot more of the robotic movement without it affecting their singing. I think they do a lot more of the fluid movement because the shows are a lot longer now and it's less tiring.
@@EmperorAmbrosebunny started writing it in the middle of her relationship and finished writing it after her breakup which is why the tone shifts from hopeful and longing to mournful by the end. Or so I've heard.
I think Zero's style is out of character for the band. I've really tried but I feel like he just wears the makeup, he doesn't bring life... well, gears, springs and steam... to Zero. He had some big shoes to fill with Hatchworth and The Jon before him. I feel like the band is subjectively not as good as they once were. The live streams where they aren't in makeup even show that his voice doesn't actually mesh that well with the SPG style. I think that without the Jon and Hatchworth SPG has gone just about as far as they will go which is sad. the 10th anniversary show really drives that point home for me. Is it just me or has Rabbit's singing become very nasal in the last two years or so? Anyway, I just wanted to comment to someone else who seems to have much the same opinion as I do.
@@Durfenhurf Izzy used to have a set of pipes, I'm willing to bet she could use them if need be. Either that or waaaay too much pop got to her in between shows
Rabbits singing has gotten so incredible I love her more and more holy shit help I'm dead
How do they NOT break a smile when the crowd (ALWAYS) goes nuts for this beautiful work of art? Oh, Rabbit.

Zero is really meshing well with their style now.
I think he's gotten more comfortable as Zero, which is awesome :D
They all totally broke character when Zero said Salgexicon but they made it work so well.

Yeah I bet it was like joining the Beatles. Whatever.
I was there! I was in the front row in the primary colors
Belam Dragneel lucky!
I was few rows in back
They did this bit at Asylum Time Travellers and it went on for aaaaages x I've never cried with laughter so much x
I wish people wouldn’t scream at the beginning, it takes away the ethereal feeling of the intro
Still miss jon sprague.......holding onto his braces
Oh to be the person in the crowd she looks at when offering her hand...
I would die
THEY WERE AT BRISTOL!??? DAMNIT! I MISSED IT!
It took me way too long to realise that they didn't mean the place I where I go to Uni... For one exciting moment I thought they might come and do shows in the UK this year too.
They are playing in Lincoln UK at the "welcome to the Asylum" steampunk festival. Hope you get to see them!
Honey Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
What happened with the robotic body language?

Plus, for an in-lore explanation, they could always say that they've been upgraded with better motors.
Is it just me or has David slimmed down some recently
Rabbit voice is better now then when you started
2:20 heaven
I agree. Rabbit is amazing. 😊❤
I was there, man. I was there.
David Fried I was there too, they were amazing!
I was there. They were awesome!!!!!

Would be nice is they did some 2 tone ska

Amazing
Bristol Rhoade Island? That looks like King Richard's Faire.....
DoctorNerd it is. It hasn't been called King Richard's for a long time. It's called Bristol Renaissance Faire now.
I've never cried so hard seeing that. Choice between Rhode Island Comic Con or The Faire.....I choose so wrong!
Oh this makes me less depressed now haha. I thought this was the one in Wisconsin and I was sad because I went but didn't see them
love love love
#SKAGEXICON2018
meredyth with a y it's actually Salgexicon
STOP CALLING ME! NOOOO! NOOOO!
I think the band look more badass in the original music video. Chris should make a comeback and blow everyone's minds
I'm sorry, do you mean Isabella? Rabbit? She's still in the band you know.
Chris is Isabella's dead name, Shes trans and is still rabbit, just a different outfit. she is still blowing minds though!
That guys blue hair is gross.
It looks quite well taken care of imo
yeah its not the best choice of style
Never thought I’d see you here, brethren.
