Agreed. Perfection in execution and beauty in playing. You've got some really amazing stuff too, though, Jon. Always a pleasure to listen to your work!
Jon Gomm ....it’s like each finger on the right hand has a separate brain......that is astounding to have that kind of finger independence on one hand.....what an incredible internal clock Antoine has.... As for you a Jon, well you are an acoustic badass for sure....I got a Lowden O32c......😀
Nothing short of amazing. It's like TooL-esqe techno played on acoustic. The muting string trick is like a subtle heart beat. Antoine, you're the read deal man. If someone says 'All Candyrat stuff sounds the same', play them this song.
Hey Antoine, listened to you for an incredibly long time and I just want to say that I appreciate the fact that you're open minded and morphing your music into a more and more unique take. Love your music AD, you've made my life so much better man. Thank You
Besides the amazing time signature work, there's some impressive string stopping going on in the right hand too. With each successive album he raises the bar higher. Very impressive Antoine.
The new album is fantastic. I stayed up past midnight last night until CandyRat made it available on their site and listened to the whole thing. I can't even decide if I like the solo or electronic side better.
This is one of my favorite pieces on his new album. The killer bridge, at about 2:05 is just mind boggling. The way he plays with time signatures, so seamlessly, is incredible.

Aw man. What a song! I am trying to learn this with much difficulty. I have mastered the intro, however, having trouble implementing the extra notes introduced around :24. I'll keep trying!
This is one of your much better works, Antoine, as I enjoy the bass and echoed light string melodies. It does not matter so much to me as to how clever the guitar playing may be if the melody does not "resonate" with me ( I rarely use that expression so I hope this does not sound clichéd to you ) . This composition is one that does have a modest level of complexity as some of your works, while getting the good tick for melody, and that's the most important where I'm concerned. A variation of the melody follows that. There is a section near the half way point where the melody gets somewhat lost before a significant pause. Maybe that is because it is intended for contrast before ( and after ) that stationary turning point. Then the melodic form of the composition resumes. The melodic sections have something of an ethereal sound, like music for meditation or contemplation. It has an "other worldly " nuance. Thanks for sharing Antoine.
Can't wait to get my cd I ordered from your site Antoine!... always a big fan of yours man! I can only hope to compose my own stuff..... I am stuck covering your stuff, Andy...Hedges. Love the syncopation!! w/the single note melodies!
Really love the sound of this Antoine :D. For some reason I found that huge string bend hilarious but it actually was kinda cool now that I think of it ahaha
it's a spider capo. You can capo individual strings as well as selectively capo harmonics. Purchased one on Amazon. It is pretty slick. Antoine modified his for personal preference.
"The capo is a Spider Capo- I bought mine on Amazon. Although Antoine does have this one modified and also has a video at his channel about how to do it" -121jigawatts2015 (he accidentally mis-replied)
Don't think D# was used since D was quite audible. F was audible. So don't think G was. But... you can tell there was an A#? The sharp/flat notes are hard to tell. That's awesome.
it's primarily because of the C minor/D# vibe this song gives, so I can guess what notes might be in use. I mean, somehow a lot of songs nowadays use the C minor scales, so the formation isn't surprising
Tman171717 hard to tell with the camera focus and effects. Was just curious. I'm into headphones and Antoine is one of my favorite guitarists of all time. Just wondered what he used. :-)
@4:09 you started playing that melody on the higher strings.... WHY didn't you keep going with that?! Such a short tease. I'd love to hear another version of this with a little more exploration on the GBE strings. This is an excellent composition on so many levels!
This new album is so awesome. The technicality is all there in a new style... Antoine you are an amazing songwriter! And your capo is better than mine!
We need a video of Auto Reverse it sounds impossible bought the tabs to that and deja vu yesterday haven't looked at auto reverse yet, it would be way easier to understand with a video
Right hand to die for.

Agreed. Antoine's sense of timing and counterpoint are flawless. A wonderous thing to hear.
Hypnotic. Melodic... brings me into outer space. Great job Antoine.

Brilliant....even ground breaking in its subtlety. The melody may not have a lot of notes but the notes have a lot of melody.
Very well-said, my brother.
Great comment, warriordrum!
Amen
Besides the amazing time signature work, there's some impressive string stopping going on in the right hand too. With each successive album he raises the bar higher. Very impressive Antoine.
The fact that people can come up with something this beautiful astounds me. Fantastic sounds!
This is the most unbelievably good composition ever. Not to mention, well... the supernatural playing. This is unreal good.
Absolutely inspiring.
Purely amazing creation, not enough adjectives to sufficiently compliment this.
the legend returns
Sir Antoine dufour. What emotion in that track. We felt it too.
A true Maestro with the guitar. None better! Thank you for the listening pleasure!
listening to this through headphones is incredible. Thank you Antoine!
Dufourrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! Murdered it!
This sounds proper to me.
Jack of I don't know how many trades, but MASTER...of this one!
Love the new album. I really need a video of Auto Reverse to be released soon! One of the best acoustic guitar tracks I've heard in a very long time.
I'll second that! Auto Reverse is amazing.
return of the spider capo !! love this
the master returns...
Love it. Love it. Love it. Long overdue!
Неописуемые эмоции получил!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As always, quality music from Antoine!

Фантастичекая игра! Браво!!!!!!!!!!!!

Слушаю её в очередной раз, испытываю те же восторг что и в первые.

I'll keep trying!

amazing piece.

come to ARGENTINA
Really love the sound of this Antoine :D. For some reason I found that huge string bend hilarious but it actually was kinda cool now that I think of it ahaha
yees~
This would make an awesome radiohead song.
❤🎸🎼👍👀
Antoine tem que vir pro Brasil!!
OMG!!!!!!!
so are you using a Tone Wood amp here?
anyone notice his pickups? Seems at the higher strings its blacked out?
finally! ive been waiting on this album for so long. antoine never disappoints
what are those things on the neck of his guitar?
it's a spider capo. You can capo individual strings as well as selectively capo harmonics. Purchased one on Amazon. It is pretty slick. Antoine modified his for personal preference.
Josiah Jones capo harmonics? I may have to get one as well
Needs to be a movie theme song
I need some answers... What kind of capo is that and where can i find one?
"The capo is a Spider Capo- I bought mine on Amazon. Although Antoine does have this one modified and also has a video at his channel about how to do it"

getting a Michael Hedges influence here. Lovely playing as always Antoine!!
Very nice! So good to see a song without "playing drums" on the guitar body. And a very nice tune.
Hmm the tuning sounds like D# A# C G A# D.
A very nice song btw :D
Don't think D# was used since D was quite audible. F was audible. So don't think G was. But... you can tell there was an A#? The sharp/flat notes are hard to tell. That's awesome.
it's primarily because of the C minor/D# vibe this song gives, so I can guess what notes might be in use. I mean, somehow a lot of songs nowadays use the C minor scales, so the formation isn't surprising
for example, Mike Dawes' cover for Titanium song and Stefano Barone's TCLD also uses C minor/D#
From his website "Intersections----------EbBbCGBbD with Modified Spider Capo with Harmonic Mutes on strings 2,3,4 at 12th fret"
5's ftw
hey antoine, why ur skin purple bro?
bcs sea is yellow
I can't fu***n// words.... omg Antoine epic god guitar player !!! Love you!@ Keep playn
Anyone know what headphones he's using?
Matthew Anders they are probably sennheiser
yeah i was going to say the same
eddie box you might be right. I can't tell from the logo, but it definitely could be.
Matthew Anders yeah they are widely used in studio recording and sound great
Tman171717 hard to tell with the camera focus and effects. Was just curious. I'm into headphones and Antoine is one of my favorite guitarists of all time. Just wondered what he used. :-)
that capo is way cooler than mine :o
@4:09 you started playing that melody on the higher strings.... WHY didn't you keep going with that?!
Such a short tease.
I'd love to hear another version of this with a little more exploration on the GBE strings.
This is an excellent composition on so many levels!
New Antoine Dufour album?..... It's about time :D
I still feel bad for deaf people...
Слушаю её в очередной раз, испытываю те же восторг что и в первые.
This new album is so awesome. The technicality is all there in a new style... Antoine you are an amazing songwriter! And your capo is better than mine!
As always Antoine is my favorite! The ability for music to bring me to emotional highs and lows continues to amaze me.
oh my fuck
When the base note becomes the melody...
Thanks AD : ) , this song is beyond words...
We need a video of Auto Reverse it sounds impossible bought the tabs to that and deja vu yesterday haven't looked at auto reverse yet, it would be way easier to understand with a video
I hve never heard anything from this man that didn't surprise me or make my jaw drop - or both.
When Antoine picks up a guitar, magic happens.
Have you been hanging out with Stefano Barone? Two thumbs up!
