    I stumbled upon this while looking for other astronomical videos. It is certainly a great introduction for beginners. The information wasn't new to me since I've been an amateur astronomer since my childhood, but it is very well-presented. The only thing I would have added is a passing mention that there are southern circumpolar constellations that never rise in our latitudes.
    Camelopardalis I suspect you left out of the circumpolar constellations because there are no bright stars in it. But it has some great deep sky objects. :)

    • @learnthesky
      @learnthesky  4 роки тому +2

      Thank you for your comment. My hope is to reach beginners, so I'm glad you picked up on that. You are correct about why I didn't include Camelopardalis. I myself haven't really been able to point the pattern out. I will be sure to learn more about the objects in this constellation.

    Job 38: 31 Can you tie the ropes of the Kimah constellation, Or untie the cords of the Kesil constellation? 32 Can you lead out a constellation in its season, Or guide the Ash constellation along with its sons? 33 Do you know the laws governing the heavens, Or can you impose their authority on the earth? 34 Can you raise your voice to the clouds To cause a flood of water to cover you? 35 Can you send out lightning bolts? Will they come and say to you, Here we are!36 Who put wisdom within the clouds Or gave understanding to the sky phenomenon?
    Apocalypse 14: 6 And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had everlasting good news to declare to those who dwell on the earth, to every nation and tribe and tongue and people. 7 He was saying in a loud voice: “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of judgment by him has arrived, so worship the One who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and the springs of water.” ("יְהֹוָה,YHWH,Yahveh, Jehova") (Isaiah 42: 8-9, Psalms 83: 19).

      Shar Roon All translations are the same and have the same meaning, “the only” big difference is that some bibles removed a translation of the name of God The most High and put the word LORD. Misleading so many to think Jesus the son of god is the most high as well.
      This is the new world translation easier to read as you can see.

    So if we look at the bow in the sky it really does seem like a protector of Earth. If we had decided to look for new worlds around the universe we would leave this world protected as a resting place for our sacrifices made here. Meaning shooting stars wouldn’t look so pretty for any thievery after or even before. However this lesson needed to be finished here so that we may place creation by truth in our path instead of obstacles by lies.

    Astrological signs and constellations were never the same, signs are more ancient and then the constellations inherited their names. The same stars had names already and greeks grouped them together and gave them the zodiac names. An astrology sign is a portion of space of 30 degrees, constellations vary in length and are not tied to the 0 point of Aries also known as march equinox.
