Good job. More please. I’ve had to take my dog out in the middle of the night for over a year now and have found some constellations for the first time in my life. Massive light pollution here, but when the sky is clear I can see enough to keep me interested. I can always find Orion these days and Sirius is all I see of Canis Major, along with one star of Canis Minor when it’s really dark. My app helps fill in the blanks. Thanks.
Thanks to Stephen Fry for his Heroes book i know all these stories so very well. Wow you really out done yourself with this video. Thank you so much for it.
The book PANDORA'S JAR by Natalie Haynes explains more of PROMETHEUS and his twin brother EPIMETHEUS. The names translate to "foresight" and "hindsight". So Prometheus could foresee his actions while his brother regularly goofed up by either forgetting or doing the wrong thing. Each god in the pantheon was; 1. immortal and, 2. a particular trait in human nature. My favorite is NEMISIS a maiden who punished humans who believed they had god-like powers, or showed "hubris."
My question is I’ve seen the sky while in a national park in Utah and there are soooo many of them I often wonder how they picked out patterns like that to create stories. They’re obvs much easier to see for us because we see less of them due to light pollution thus the brightest ones shine through for us. But they were able to see them all so how did they do that. It’s incredible and a testament to humans innate desire for creativity and stories
@@pinkgreenmelon2209 I can imagine that there was a lot of wine-tasting going on to and from work. Lots of stops, and conversations get longer at each one.
I'm sure since we found these... Subscribe future SCAPES, eternal DEPTHS, cosmic spacewave we should very easily prove Prometheus an the things like it are not myths... 🌚🌏🌝🌚🌍😏🌠🕳️🌌😸😼🦊🪐
I must admit that this has quickly became one of my favourite channels. Looking forward to more uploads!
Myths I understand...... But they connect us with our distant past.... That's beautiful ❤️
This channel is a treat. The video quality is excellent and the topics are interesting. I'd watch more of these constellations videos.

I loved this video!
This is such an epic video :D

The story of Prometheus is so obviously a myth, as there are no eagles who like liver that much.

@@thomasesau2376 She'd be handy to have around today.
Haha, I wonder what ancient zoological source …
I saw a bald eagle grab a hot dog from a 7 Eleven parking lot. But it wasn't liver, true.
@@brianSalem541 And I saw a bald eagle spit out liverwurst, so I know they don't like liver.
Excellent content
