Great vid, thanks for sharing!Would a bobber-stop(s) with a large-enough bead do the same thing as the crimp does but w/out damaging the line at all (so could, maybe, use a lighter line all things being equal)?
The website will not select hootchies
VERY GOOD VIDEO AND INFORMATION ROD.... does a trailer hook help out?
Highly educational vid Rod!
im looking to make up a set like this ..where can i get the beads and crimps and crimp pliers .i dont see them in your catologe
I would contact Gibbs directly through their website, or check with one of their retailers.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Rod, do you know what pound test hes using for the set up?
what size spreader bar?
There are two sizes available, can be found at:www.gibbsdelta.com/product/gibbs-halibut-spreader-bar/
Finally someone who uses their fingernail to test the sharpness of a hook or knife! Your skin dose not work.
Been using the finger nail method ever since I started ocean fishing. Really tells how sharp 'cause you can feel it!
Thank you for the info.
