My Brother! so good to see you and welcome back also! I lost my other channel and took over a 10 month break to fish and enjoy the great outdoors with my Son and some buddies. I was so upset I lost all of you Beautiful people but some of you have returned to continue this journey with me. Thank you so much and I have not forgotten the reactions we did together! Can't wait for more and happy to be part of the Army since the very first song I reacted to.

Don’t know if anyone answered your question, but the album is called Dark Passion Play. It is the first album with Annette Olzon as the singer, since they had dismissed Tarja at this time. There was a very public and nasty separation that happened here, in which The fans blamed Tuomas for the split. This song makes up the Trilogy of Letters (or the breakup trilogy) for Nightwish, in which in response to the backlash Tuomas received, Tuomas wrote 3 songs that were letters: Bye Bye, Beautiful (Tuomas’ goodbye letter to Tarja), The Poet and the Pendulum (a letter in response to the fans), and Master Passion Greed, (a goodbye letter to Tarja’s husband, whom the band blamed for Tarja’s change in attitude).
Out of those 3 songs, Bye Bye Beautiful was played live a few times, but no footage has been seen of it. Floor absolutely refuses to sing it, as she is good friends with Tarja. Master Passion Greed will NEVER be played live. Everyone is over this period in their lives, and is at least cordial with each other (Tuomas asked Tarja for permission or needed her agreement to rerelease Once: the last album she sang with them, and Tarja sent Tuomas flowers when one of his parents died). Only The Poet and the Pendulum was played live, that everyone has seen, at Wembley. That will never be played live again either.
This is my favourite “angry” song to play when I go out for a run. -This is Tuomas’s venting at Tarja’s husband who the band thought had a merciless and Mercenary approach to what he could screw out of the band financially.

It was joy to see your face. I feel the same when I first heard this song. This is the best Nightwish song - I may dare to say one of the best heavy song ever made. Marko's sinning is phenomenal, Jukka and Emppu are playing like devils. This underlines the truth that Nightwish is Holopainen who conjures the masterpiece according to the singer.
If you want to head more metal god sinning, I recommend High Hopes and Phantom of the Opera (End of An Era) or Ghost River (studio version) from the same dark Passion play record (this is contrary to popular opinion, but it is good when I hate Anette). @BuckeyeCreeker1

Really appreciate this and it has been added to my playlist also. This was so heavy and in your face!!! And yes Floor would have made a Heavy contribution to it with the Growl. But finding out some info on the song and what the lyrics were about from you fans, I know that floor would never sing this song! earning more about her she really is a genuine Beautiful Soul. There is another song about which I heard that it won't be played live: "Endlesness", but I think, it is best to listen even after "The Poet and the Pendulum", at least the demo version of the "Poet and the Pendulum" written between Tarja and Anette. You may not like it (not as much as Floor's), but it can give even more understanding about the feelings after Tarja was dismissed.
As to the heaviest: the "Scaretale" is heavy. But I saw a reaction where a guy stated that those feet (of the drummer) had had a lot of coffee that day. I prefer this one: ua-cam.com/video/rnYrscO5eN8/v-deo.html. because you can see fragments from the movie, but there is official live video with Anette as a witch. It is really her song, because Floor, to my mind, lacks playfulness. And Floor is power, while Anette is rather a girl (and seductress in the same movie in singing "Slow love, slow"). Another reactor, a classic composer, called "Scaretale" a "Demented Disney".
Just discovering NIGHTWISH for the first time in 2023 I Love what I have heard from both Tarja & Floor, I Love them both and they are amazing artists and have many talents! Floor brings me to tears and makes me smile and her voice gets to the heart and soul. I watched a documentary about Floor and she really is a hard working beautiful soul! They have a number of heavy songs, since they're not constrained by any "box". The next album which'll be here shortly is supposed to be heavier, so it'll be fun to see if this song can be outdone.

Great one ‼️ Love this song. It’s wonderful heavy and angry… but in a nice way for me… Because you do now also a little bit harder music. Therefore „Electric Callboy“ should fit into your favorites… They combine elements of electronic dance music (EDM) with metalcore, creating a unique and fun sound. The band's music is described as a fusion of pulsing, late-night sounds of European EDM with punishing, breakdown-heavy metalcore. By the way it’s a German band - and in Germany we call this style „Partycore“. This song is a burst of anger from Tuomas. Target is Marcelo who mixed the relationship with the band boys and Tarja. They do not do it live and none of the female vocalist are in. "Bye Bye Beautiful", "Poet and the Pendulum", "Eva" ...they all deal with the issue of Tarja leaving.
