    This seems like a concept you could apply to outerwear, leather, etc...

    If I'm not mistaken, the term selvage comes from "self-edge," so it would make sense it was pronounced that way unless it comes from some language other than English. Either way, people will know what you're saying when you say it that way.

    Does the leg twist happen when using the extra longer length in the pant you usually wear. As if for example, I wear 36x30 and I get a 36x32 or 34 will it twist?

    • @CarlMurawski

      Weight is the thickness of the yarns which is measured in ounces. The higher the ounces, the thicker the denim

    • @CarlMurawski

      If you’re wearing them a lot it’s a bit early but normal. They’ll likely settle into a spot and not twist much more.

    Would you pull the trigger on a mcallister for 297 or wait if there’s additional discount? Brand new not a factory second. (AE is discontinuing brown) has a dainte rubber sole.

    • @CarlMurawski
      @CarlMurawski  6 років тому

      Tough one, it seems like AE is always discounting their stuff but thats not bad considering they start around $400 now. You'll forget paying a bit more but you'll regret if you miss out on them. The Danite sole is such an awesome option btw.

    • @marcogonzalez4615
      @marcogonzalez4615 6 років тому

      Carl Murawski I’m still kicking myself for not buying them at 196 with the extra 40%. I can’t believe the dark brown is going to be discontinued. I’m really not a fan of the coffee color. But, anyways, bottom line you would go with the Danite sole over the general leather for the mcallister?

    • @CarlMurawski
      @CarlMurawski  6 років тому

      If you’re planning on wearing it as an everyday option I say Danite all the way. I wish I had gotten them on my Odenwalds.

    • @marcogonzalez4615
      @marcogonzalez4615 6 років тому

      Carl Murawski I went ahead and picked up the McAllister’s with the danite sole, I love them. Great dark brown color and it’s clear how good the leather is on these. Thanks for the advice. They gave me an addition 20% so we are talking 248 before taxes.
