  • Few vocalists enjoyed the same career as Sarah Vaughan, who possessed one of the genre’s defining voices. Over nearly five decades of recording, she won four Grammy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award; cut more than 50 albums; and collaborated with many high-profile musicians.
Nicknamed “Sassy,” Vaughan was best known for her rich and expressive voice, which drew comparisons to those of opera singers. One New York Times reviewer wrote, “When she reaches into her lower contralto register, the effect is of dipping into a deep, mysterious well to scoop up a trove of buried riches.”
Her popular songs included “Tenderly,” “Nature Boy,” “Black Coffee,” and “Mean to Me,” as well as many others. The Stephen Sondheim-penned “Send in the Clowns” also became a calling card later in her career.

The credits at the beginning indicate that it would have been released in Australia on Umbrella Video (a nostelgic video company that specialises in releasing old videos) under the title THE DIVINE ONE. I have done a Google search and cannot locate it. This was a promo to another old video that I iploaded ages ago.
