- At the start of 2015 I bought a Super 8 camera and a box of film to capture the best moments of my year. Here they are.

Film: Kodak Vision 3 Color Negative Film (50D & 200T) and Agfa Aviphot Chrome 200D Reversal Film.
Process & Scan: Gauge Film.

The most beautiful phrase a person could hear
I remember back in 2015, when I watched this video for the first time. I was young and living in my home country, I didn't have many friends or the freedom to go out and explore. But I kept going back to this video and dreaming that one day I could make my own memories like this.
Fast forward to 7 years later, and here I am today. I have left my country and ventured to a new place, where I made new friends, gone on countless road trips, and found love. Even though so much time has passed in those moments of laughter and joy that I experienced, moments you know you'll cherich forever, I remember this video and can't help but feel like a small dream of mine came true.
So, thank you Adrian for giving me something that has been such a huge part of my journey.

So Tom Rosenthal was the one who made this masterpiece of a song? And he happens to be a friend of Adrian Bliss. And he was also the one who scored the Have fun during the day song, which moved me so much. A song about Adrian and Greg's story from Vlogvember, the best series of vlogs on youtube. Wow. Its a good day to be alive 🥰 I felt so powerful and capable after this

Everything on film makes the experience seem so personal it’s beautiful

hey man! its me. im the same kid, just now 18. I wrote that comment coming back from a bbq at my uncle's, who was unknowingly battling cancer and cirrhosis of the liver. he passed quietly about a year and a few after the comment, I also wrote it in my then room from my childhood home while speaking on the phone with my online gf, who was my first ever relationship! ;-)
I've since moved, finished high school, started a band, made new and lifelong friends, had many loves, outings and experiences. I hope to God this comment finds you and your life story just like mine, passing by, with lots of updates, some happy, some sad, bittersweet at worst, because that's how life works. two versions of the same kid, with different lives yet similar memories, listening to the same song, same video, same hour.

I believe digital only overtook film in 2008 in the blockbuster movie scene. About 30-40% are still filmed on film. If you want an example, Tarantino is a firm believer in IMAX film.
I dunno why but this made me feel like i was missing out on life. Things nowadays are so boring and complicated. Surely when i get out of highschool life will be better. Almost made me cry ngl.

For some reason this gives me some kind of happiness that i could has only feel before 2017.
The thing I love about watching Super 8 footage is that it makes modern day look vintage. The low quality grainy footage makes this look like it was shot 50 years ago. Other than a few key things (like modern Car models) and things like that, you'd be none the wiser to the age of this footage.

2015 was a very difficult year for me . Everything was messy in my life and I was just 13. But it taught me that after sometime, EVERYTHING FALLS IN PLACE
