Thank you for putting this video up sir. I havethe 1600 for 3 years. The first year, I used it every single day with never a problem. I've been using it for the last 2 years intermittently, especially around Halloween, holidays, and events. This fourth july, it started to do exactly this. I'm glad to know it just needs some deep love and maintenance, and it doesn't need to go blow fog at a farm up state.
Thank you! I have a Chauvet that messed up the first time ever using it. They were very nice and send us a replacement and they did not make us on the old one back. I kept it in case we ever needed parts. I was going to throw it away but then I found your video and I repaired it in about 10 minutes. Thank you so much for your expertise.
Hurricane 1200 fresh outta' the box. Test drove for about 15 minutes and got very excited for upcoming Halloween event. Then the unit went cold. Would not heat up. I was so sad. Found this video and I really appreciate you demonstrating the thermostat reset button - it worked. Thank you!
This video is awesome.. We were having a similar issue with our but your breakdown I think will fix our issues. Thank you for solving problems while still keeping me engaged with your humor.
Thank you so much for this video. My machine quit heating up and I thought it was toast. Ended up just being the reset on the thermostat. Thanks again.
Literally just opened a 1600 and it worked for about an hour then stopped. Brand new out the box. Found this vid, opened it and hit the thermostat button. Magic! Thank you!
This is what I love about you guys, Joey. Most companies would rather have you come in and replace the machine. This is exactly why I'm loyal to your company. You have the best customer service in the business.
Thanks my friend because I save £80 from Chaucer DJ service I just press the reset in end your video . Thanks from Brighton in England , Dirceu Antunes journalist
Thanks for a very informative video! I found two brand new machines that were being thrown out. Both Are Chaucer hurricane 1800’s. Still in box! So I imagine there was something wrong with each one and this tutorial will help a lot in determining what it is. I’m just waiting for some dog juice to arrive.
I have a Hurricane H1301, and it’s not working. The power light is on, and the main circuit board green light is on. But the heater is not on, and the pump doesn’t start. I removed the pump and had it cleaned. Same thing. What do u think?
interesting, this will by why my 1400 flashes and the wired remote control doesn't work, even if i swap it over to one that works on anther machine (1200). I'll open it up and see what I see then,

Hi, i just bought a chauvet 1200 and its heating up but no fog is coming out when i press the fog button, i hear the pump running. When I release the fog button a little bit of fog comes out but thats it. I disconnected the pipe from the pump and activated the fog switch and sure enough the pump is pumping the fluid. What can i do? Could there be a blockage somewhere?
Hello there!!! I own a Chauvet 4D Haze machine. The problem with it is that the smoke smells like it's burnt, more like a truk's exhaust pipe smoke smell. How can I fix that?
@@quarancine878 hi! Thanks for the quick reply. The bottle says "HoustonHaze" it's oil based. It was sold to me on a tent sale by iDjnow. I had doubts about that liquid and was trying to get a really good one but I have no idea which is the perfect one.
@@eloriginaldjdeivid I know this response is a year late, but the 4D is a water-based haze machine, so you should only use water-based haze fluid. If you put oil-based fluid in the machine, then you will get weird burning smells and possibly worse.
I have the Chauvet Hurricane and am in need of your smarts. I plug it in (with and without any controllers plugged into the back) and it just starts pumping fluid. pushing the button on the back does nothing nor any buttons on the controllers. It works perfectly other than that it just starts pumping right away and obviously the sputtering fluid coming out eventually turns to fog as it heats up. Do you happen to know what causes this?
Mine does the same? I removed the cover and found lots of condensation and am waiting for it to fully dry out with the cover off. In my case I’m thinking the moisture is bridging part of the pump circuit. Mine must be an older model it doesn’t have the thermo cut out reset or the fluid level sensor.
We have noticed this happens when the board gets wet from either fluid that has leaked on the board or it's left outside and moisture gets in. A lot of these machines will tell you to not use outside but lets be honest, Most people use them outside. We highly recommend be careful because it can shoot out hot fog liquid.
Have you found that the 120 Hurricane is a POS? I had this problem and ended up returning the unit adn got another and now the heater won't heat up. The fog tank now just stays glowing red and is not getting hot. It's 7 days old. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Great videos BTW!
If it's not heating you may have to reset the thermostat by clicking it down. Its explained in the video. If that doesn't help then your heater may be dead.
I have a Hurricane 1301 and the wired remote yellow and red led are on once i plug it in and turning them off or on does nothing, Once it heats up it goes off on it's own for 5 to 10 seconds and stops! I had the timer and interval to zero. What is wrong. I tried both remote inputs since the manual and the printed inputs the unit are flip flopped

That could the Control board. Sometimes when it gets fog fluid on it, it shorts out and does that.

Help my chauvet hurricane 1800 heats up (I think) but smoke is barely coming out of it.... barely poops out tiny bits of smoke. Way less than a cigar....please help
This would either be from two reasons.1) Heatercore has some type of blockage. 2) The pump is messed up and barley pumps fog fluid.

Yes there can be a blockage in the heater core. If the unit is new I'd recommend returning it instead of trying to go any more in depth on it.
