Your voice gives such a nice nostalgic vibe. I feel like a kid again watching and learning something new on PBS kids. Great tutorial, 10/10 very helpful.
Oh thats so great to know! Wish I had been able to mention that in the video! Maybe I'll make a video on that for people who cant afford photoshop. Thank you!
What a cute voice! * --* I already knew almost everything you said, but I watched the whole video because you explain in such a detailed and easy way in that adorable voooice! ❤ Thanks for the tips and congrats for the awesome work!
This was incredible helpful and well executed. Loved that you just put everything together in one video, instead of cutting it up into multiple. Thank you so much!
Hello! This was extremely helpful! I am not planning to become a Vtuber but we will see. I like making my characters on vroid for fun, now I can give them custom clothes! Thank you! I hope your channel grows lots!
This was actually the most helpful tutorial I’ve watched. Thank you for being clear, concise, explaining how booth worked with vroid, and altogether entertaining. Great work. 👍🏻
You couldn't have explained it better. I was having a hard time with matching up the outfits and I had no idea that the maps had to match up. Thanks a lot for the video. It really helped me.
It was so easy to follow your dutorial! Your explenation is so good, if i were to follow any other dutorials then this would have taken me forever. Thank you
very useful advice i had just started using vroid and out of all the tutorials i've seen so far this is the first to use layers to make totally new outfits. Thank you very much XD
cherry can you help us to use photoshop or do some tiny clothes tutorials on photoshop for us to learn from!? You are the best teacher and love your voice! :D
hi! if ever you use ibispaintx can you release a tutorial on how to transport an ibispaintx drawing (clothing, eyes or body tattoos) to vroid as a png? thanks!
This is so cool I wanna try to make a model but I don’t know what to do after you make the model. Like how do you rig it and on some softwares do you need to rig it? Idk I am so dump I only know how to tween. But I really wanna make a vtuber avatar 😭. Please help my dump self
Hi. Appreciate it if you can advise on the following : 1) How to design a new clothing from scratch? 2) How to change the fabric printing eg. from a plain gown fabric to one with a large peacock printing or to a gradually fading colour one? 3) How to design a gown with twisted knot on the waist? Thank you.
There’s 3 things I’m still trying to learn about Vroid, which I hope will be covered in a video. I’d like to learn about how to change the facial expressions, pose the hair, and pose the clothing for dynamic scenes. These are important to anyone who wants to draw their Vroid character or pose them for a comic book. If you decide to make any more Vroid videos, please consider showing us: - How to change the facial expression - How to pose the hair (if the character is moving, running, jumping, or it’s a windy day, the hair will also take on different poses. I’m trying to create a frozen frame of a dynamic hair pose because I want to draw it) - How to pose clothing (movement & windy weather will affect clothing in the same way that hair is affected. Think of how a scarf, coat, cape, or a dress are affected if a character is running, jumping or the weather is windy. I want to capture a dynamic pose of the clothing as a frozen frame in order to be able to draw it) Thank you for the Vroid videos. This program looks very interesting and I’d really like to learn more about what it can do. 😊
How do you import socks tho? (I've been having a hard time on how to put socks on my avatar which makes me sad cause I can't use the cute socks I got from booth)
i love your voice and the intro is ADORABLE!! ^^ love the hair and just how your model looks in general. :p also, what do you use for your face cam thing that makes ur avatar move along with your face and hands?
im sitting here struggling cuz the outfit page on booth said to use the "long sleeve dress" and I assumed it meant the long coat not the "onepiece (long sleeve) i'm just blind. but thank you so much for these tips! also your voice is very cute and you're great at explaining these things! surprisingly a lot of vroid tutorials i've found have been hard to follow and very monotonous. the color changing tip at the end helped me finally be able to change my male character's skin without losing the muscle texture lines or forcing the color match of all my layers. thank you!! I have one question: is there a way to increase the "contrast" of the clothes? say if you want harsher colored lines or darker fold marks? in my case I want the muscle lines on the skin texture I'm recoloring to stick out more since he has a muted blue-gray skin tone it doesn't stand out well.
hmmm, I've never done glasses before. I did a little research and it looks like you MIGHT be able to add this as a layer on your hair booth.pm/en/items/2641137 let me know if you try it and it doesn't work, there may be a way to add it as a layer on your face.
Oh! I forgot to mention that when you get the outfit I think it only comes with the black shirt, and that I used my photoshop technique to change the colors to get yellow, pink, and blue =)
I couldn't find the exact ones anymore, but if you go to booth.pm and search "vroid overalls" or 'vroid overall" a lot of options pop up and they are all super cute!
You got me interested at the very beginning when you accidentally imported a screen cap, since I am looking into having more specific control over clothing. By the way, is there a 3D mesh option for clothing as there is for hair? The visuals of the maps are confusing to me since they 2D.
I find them really confusing as well! But sadly the only 3D version of the outfit I can see before getting the map is seeing the pictures on booth.pm of the example avatar wearing it.
Thank you for your reply. I’m experimenting with the program, and I think a technique. I drew the outline parameter on the 3D model first, and then I judge based on what appears on the 2D map.
Hello again!! am having lots of trouble with vroid, it s very hard to do hair with a mouse and I don’t know how to get ride of pre existing hair on a model so I can make new hair. And I don’t know how to undo or save the model so I can finish later. And would it be possible to export the clothing tester and import it to and editing/ drawing app on an iPad? I am very confused I am on a Mac. If you could help or send me a link to a video or something that can help it would mean a lot sorry I am not smart 😅
