Only problem is, They don't make movies that are actually relatable & interesting for today's generation. Indian film industry is again heading towards 'Mass-Masla' Films. Even if good films like, Gopi Gawaiya bhaaga Bhaiya, Return of Hunuman, etc, They don't get enough support & flops at box-Office. Because, Indian audience don't wanna see other genres rather than, 'Mass-Masala' Like Animal, KGF, Etc.
Chillar Party (2011) was great. Just because children's problems don't have the same stakes as adult problems doesn't lessen their impact. Indian cinema, and all cinema as whole needs to understand that children aren't stupid. They will gravitate to internet media that doesn't talk down to them.
I am a 2000s kid and my most fav child centric film was Vaah Life Ho To Aisi(I watched it in cinemas when I was 2 and watched it so many times that even at the age of 21. I remember each and every line.😂 Bumm Bumm Bole was an amazing child centric film made by Priyettan(Priyadarshan ji) jo unhone poore dil se banayi thi which showed the poverty, sacrifice, sibling love but the only flaw was the terrorism angle unnecessarily included still it showed that how sometimes kids are unknowingly become part of a big mess but the protagonist survives. It was not in Children of Heaven agar Terrorism angle na hota to Taare Zameen Par jaisi hi hoti wo. The kids were awesome especially the girl(Priyadarshan loved and attached to that girl very much as she was so cute.) ❤😍 Baaki my favorite child centric movies are Dhanak from Hindi and the 90s movies of Shamili 😍❤️ (She was a child superstar of South India in 90s) with movies like Anjali, Malooty(India’s first survival drama film) and especially Pookalam Varavayi(a great film on children from a broken home.) I am an aspiring filmmaker and I have plots of some child centric films(not child fantasy) but I just hope that Hindi audience can accept such plots and wo underrated na reh jaaye or I can make it in Malayalam industry only as wahan child centric films bhi accha business karti hain. I hope, I can make good films which can touch hearts.❤💖

See i feel like this is also why genz kids in india are getting into anime past doraemon and ninja hatori, which imo were already more deep than past indian projects like motu patlu (who's moral of the story are vague and forgotten after next ep), or even other western cartoons that are getting regional locked due to parental complains of "wokeness", leaving overly dumb cartoons run on south asia branch for all cartoon channels. Anime already looks cooler by artstyle and movement frames having effort and proper budget, fight scenes having dedicated choreographies, and an actual storyline (most cartoons in west and india have been episodic to allow newcomers join at anytime, but that also risks the characs never having a development showcase which COULD HAVE taught children valuable lessons). And while anime does have "wokeness", they are way more subtle than western ones so they can bypass parent monitoring easily (except when the fanservice comes welp). Look at promised neverland, excellent representation for dark themed shows for children (s1 atleast)
Fully agreed! Indian animated shows for children are so shitty in general, even once in while bhi depth vali ya intelligent storyline nhi aati. I used to love Detective Conan while growing up, and as a kids show, that show was amazing! Not just mentally smart, but even emotionally it would be so well done. They want us to support Indian animation but aren’t providing us with quality substance. Like idk how they want me to vouch for Chhota Bheem or motu patlu, when its so dumbbb overall

EXACTLYY!
My neighbourhood totoro, Spirited away and princess mononoke are some good example of anime movies for children
Puss the boot's panic attack scene is the best representation of panic attack in my opinion
True true! I kinda liked it better than Inside Out 2 scene
Chaar Sahibzaade 2014 was one of the best animated indian movie. Nobody appreciates it, as it was punjabi history.
Its such a good film! But I don’t think i can put it in the same category as these other kids movies.
Its Historical & Educational Film Bro Not Entertainment film
Honestly speaking, studio ghibli has many of those amazing stories that are very much built with a beautiful fantastical storyline!
True!
Your videos are really interesting and I like the way you present things. Keep it up!

Indian filmakers mostly thinks of profit... But with profit if they think about story and continuity with proper execution we can produce good movies
Literally tho!
😂😂 right
I watched it from the age of 4 to 7 but later it became unrealistic with monsters and animals. Even Motu Patlu is relatatble.
