My dozen favorite 2022 Pick Ups (and these are in order of most favorite first and on down): Nishane - Ambra Calabria, Dior - Fève Délicieuse, ParfumsDeMarly - Greenley, Hermès - Ambre Narguile, Givenchy - Gentleman EDP Reserve Privée, Bvlgari - Tygar, LouisVuitton - Imagination, BondNo9 - Lafayette Street, MaisonViolet - Un Air d’Apogée, ThomasdeMonaco - Raw Gold, JoMaloneLondon - Oud & Bergamot, Hermès - Terre d’Hermès Eau Givrée. For me Givenchy was the best new one, I wore it pretty much once a week in the autumn and winter. I am with you on Chanel - every year is the year of chanel, something for every day, every circumstance, always classy. Happy holidays.
My Favorite Pick up of 2022 Stronger with you "Intensely" beautiful Gourmand. Yes I kno it was released in 2019 but just discovered it this year . Great addition to my collection

Very well done as usual, will be adding few of these to my list. The fragrance of the year for me is Music for a While, and i agree it is a masterpiece can’t get enough of it.

1. Hiram Green-Arcadia

3. Fort&Manle-Honiara

The best indie brands I discovered were Rubini and April Aromatics. Unique and very good quality. From Rubini, they were all good to me, and from April Aromatics, these wooden ones are really good - from Pink Wood to Precious Wood to Bohemian spice. And it's really deserved that you took Papillon as the indie brand of the year.
I wore the most perfumes from Andy Tauer (Moroccan and PHI) - Puredistance-M as well as from Fort& Manle - Fatih Sultan Mehmed.
Just got my Chypre Fulminare from N&W. What an incredible scent! I think it might have made your list.

I'm pretty happy with this year's purchase, quite a big one as well without realising.
Guerlain millesime tonka (if you're a feve delicious fan, then you need to get millesime tonka).
dior feve delicious, mitzah, patchouli imperial, leather oud and two Dior trilogy sets (mainly for the Eau Noire).
Tom Ford London, patchouli absolu, Ebene Fume, fucking fabulous.
Guerlain (lidg) EDT.
Acqua Di Parma colonia oud and colonia leather.
chergui, Diptyque tempo and black afgano.

I'm very curious to try Millesime Tonka, as I love Tonka Imperiale and Feve too. I see that you were big on Dior Privee! Maybe I need to give that line another chance.

I do love Dior but next year I think I might try Chanel's Les exclusifs. not much I like from Chanel apart from Pour Monsieur, love that one. and egoiste is a nice one as well.

However, not all iris-based fragrances are "inspired" by the Dior Homme line. We are now past that. 🙂

Do you prefer Sycomore or Le lion and why? My favorite from this year is Boundless from Amouage 🔥
Oohh damn! Now that's a question that it's hard to answer... I love both and this answer may be different tomorrow, but for now I would say Le Lion, as I love this type of scents: intense, bold, rich. Plus it was a fragrance that started my journey into the Les Exclusifs
Edit: I tried Boundless, last Saturday and it's on my wishlist! That and Material 😁👌
