Its awesome see a sonic.exe game where Metal Sonic is a main character and not an object to sacrifice or totally forgotten, I hope more sonic.exe games do this, specially if a second part of this is completed, Metal deserves his victory and own solo path without relaying on Eggman to survive.
Looking back, my favourite endings out of all of theses types of games has always been the best ending, but it’s more impactful after doing all of the other outcomes, as it prepares you for what’s to come, using all of the knowledge from the other endings to finally beat exe and live to fight another day…

This is one of the first sonic.exe games that actually have some sort of sense. This was really well written. Gameplay could be sort of repetitive but the story telling more than makes up for it. Good job to everybody who worked on this and I sincerely hope they’re planning a part 2.

@@Narly_0 It's actually rather easy to see the differences. In the other .EXE's, the creature wants control and domination, but it would need Sonic's friends out of the way first and foremost. They a potential hinderance that would have slowed it down a little, and it wanted to take over as quickly as it could. *This* time, however, it seemed less about wanting domination, and more toward punishment of Sonic's crew for what it had interpreted as him being left behind in a dangerous situation that proved to be fatal, as well as Eggman having seemed to be a cause for it due to messing around with things he may not have fully understood. It's more a 'justifiable reason' spin this time, rather than what seemed to always be personal gain. Does it change the fact this thing is still dangerous and evil in the terms of the Sonic universe, though? Not in the slightest.
I know this is the third time but say this... But it's very hard to resist the urge to acknowledge and point out just how wonderful this game's music is.
