If you check the BTS concert videos CD/DVDs you would see his name credited as the choreographer
He was also a Dance teacher, teaching many
He was really young but is immensely talented getting paid to work with big artists and entering Dance college just with his self choreographed Projects
If he wasn't in SKZ he would have been the Dance Master teaching the k-pop idols both seniors and juniors
I feel really disappointed in JYP for not showcasing his skills

If you were from big3 your most definitely had success, KF you weren’t it was pretty hard. Hybe definitely changed a lot but bc Big3 was a thing for 15-20years it’s hard not not say big3 anymore, if you been liking kpop for years before hybe. Nowadays you could say big4 yes

The only group as self-produced near SKZ, the only group that can match them in this is Seventeen. They have been producing, writing and choreographing their songs from the start of their career. Even saving their almost bankrupt company. I love both of the groups because of their hardwork and self producing and organic qualities.
I think Big Bang is also very much self produced
G-Dragon of BIGBANG was the first idol to produce music for BIGBANG and solo albums opening the door for future groups to be allowed to make their own music. One of the many things G-Dragon started, first lightsticks designed by him, airport fashion, first idol to become a fashion global ambassador, first to introduce a deep voice rapper T.O.P and so much more. Bang Chan surpassed him this year in KOMCA copyrights but GD has been in hiatus for 7 years.

Just like Skz, Seventeen are called self-producing idols since their very beginning. Woozi has produced all the Svt songs along with Vernon, Scoups, Wonwoo contributing a significant amount.

Another group you are familiar with that is also self produced would be Seventeen. They produce their own music, choreograph and even directed a couple of their music videos.The creator you reacted in this video also made a video on Seventeen so I would recommend that video for you to react to.

Say what you will about JYP, you may not like him, but you have to respect the fact that he has worked extremely hard to get where he is today. Also I already knew most of the info in the video but the fact that SKZ have so much control over their creative process still amazes me. Especially Chan/3racha👏👏

Their is a wrong information Lee know actually trained for 1 month (source: Leemujin Service Ep.123)
It's frustrating how much misinformation there is surrounding lee know's trainee period :( I didn't spot any other mistakes in this video except for this one
@@alice7096 they usually refer to them as trainees until their official debut. That is why they say Felix trained for a year (he joined in February and the show started in October?) and Chan says he was a trainee for almost eight years. Even though the show was a success, there was no guarantee of debut. The group formed from the show LOUD has yet to debut more than two years later (though the PNATION group has already debuted) so are all still trainees, if they are still with the company.

@@alice7096 Felix would have been just over a year, and Lee Know just under a year (between eight and ten months? We aren't exactly sure much time between when the group was formed and when the show started). I think Seungmin may also have been just over a year. It might be why he and Lee Know are so close. He was still new enough to understand what Lee Know was feeling.
@@seniorkittystay Lee know stated that he joined JYP around July 16th so yeh 8 months as a trainee I suppose (but only two weeks before the survival show). I forget how much content is pre-debut 😂 I'm unsure about seungmin but that sounds right- I love their friendship so much 😭

JYP may not be likeable as a person, but the things he has done for promoting his artists are really appreciated.He's a visionary and provides area for the growth of his artists.He doesn't impose the kind of music the artists should make, but helps them discover what kind of music they are suited for.

They made it on their own. There was no one for Straykids. Company did not support them very well at first. But They did it. Now They are the saver of JYP company. Without Straykids Jyp was in prison😁 JYP started paying alittle attention to straykids after their successes after god's menu (JYP didn't want to pay more for god's menu music video as well, he did it cause Chan convinced them)
Tell that to BTS fans they think BTS paved the way in everything.

Yuppp!! (G)I-dle produces and composes their own music since Soyeon ( their leader ) wrote and produced over 90% of their songs and Minnie and Yuqi have also written and produced songs for them too!

I've seen the episodes where Lee Know and Felix got eliminated. The heart break hits hard but as I have got to know more of Stray Kids history, I think JYP, is crazy and a genius. The elimination of those two did a few things, first it showed how close knit the group was and he wanted a tightly bonded group; second it was good for ratings, third it also gave him a way to accurately guage the public interest in those members that might have seemed a little weak in public interest as well as guage public emotional connection to the group.
Now I can't help but think that JYP's experiment to create a close knit group had likely gone way beyond anything he ever imagined and they weill keep going farther.
I'm really surprised that Changbin and Hyunjin donated all that money to the victims of earthquakes but it just shows how much they care 🐾🐷

Little update on a bit of information: Lee Know didn't train at JYPE for a year prior to the survival show, he didn't even train for a month. He had weeks of training before joining skz and the show starting. JYPE has always been funny about stating how long he trained for, initially it was a year then we found out it was a month only to find out from Lee Know himself that it wasn't even that. It explains why they wanted to eliminate him, he'd never had formal singing training and had barely started to when the survival show started. That being said JYP didn't really give him the chance to get better either but look at Lee Know now - an insanely beautiful vocalist.

I just wished JYP could've let GOT7 loose to do more of their own music because of that he lost them they have so much talent in that group alone with JayB writing and producing his own music along with Jackson Wang, Jinyoung and Youngjae and BamBam, Yugyeom and Mark who was just learning how to do all that too. GOT7 would've been just as big as Stray Kid's. Anyway I respect that JYP paved the way for others. But he kinda put blinders on when it came to GOT7's work. Sorry for the rant. 😅🙃😬

There is information in the video that is not entirely correct.
The training time mentioned is counting from the debut. Not from the show, which aired months before. So before the show, Seungmin was a trainee for two months, Lee Know for one month, and Felix for about six months.
Hyunjin lived in LA for a while, but he had no background in singing, dancing or rapping.
Lee Know auditioned four years before he was called by the company, he thought he hadn't made the cut. He was called out of the blue to be part of the project
Bang Chan had chosen 12 trainees in total to form Stray Kids, but only nine were allowed to participate in the reality show. The trainees where Allen who is now part of Cravity , Yaochen who debuted as a soloist and Kang Seokhwa from Wei.
Fun fact: Despite their huge worldwide success, Stray Kids are not very popular in Korea. In fact, they don't usually do very well on Korean streaming platforms.
Compared to their international success, it's a huge contrast. They have a better chance of being recognized on the streets of New York than on the streets of Busan.
