I am Paul Nickell's mom and Eliza Nickell's grandma. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for your kindness. You made my son and granddaughter's day! I really hope this will be a confidence builder for Eliza. Thank you again!!
Going to repost this comment I made a few days ago. Just for Granny Love the video. Had to double check the story I am telling. I picked cotton in a sack in my early teens and drove a tractor for my farming uncle. I was doing good to get 100/125 lbs a day compared to some getting over 200 lbs. I did not see this, but another uncle told of a woman getting 600 lbs, thats a bale every other day, talking to herself all day long, he said. Somebody will probably shout me down but it's a true story. Cotton farming has come a long way. Daniel may have never seen a store-bought tar covered bottom canvas cotton sack. GOD BLESS FARMERS Keep it up. THANKS. Have a good day Granny.
Your dad is a hoot, got to love the man. To take all the fun away, he is walking knowledge at it's best. Enjoy the cotton especially, it's all new to me. I'm from Michigan, no Cotton up here. Hi Granny hope you are having a great week. Hopefully you will have a great weekend. Seems like there is always something fun to do in the fall on the weekends. It's definitely fall In Michigan, 50s during the day and 30s at night. Saying maybe SNOW flurries Monday gurrr !!!!! What ever you do have a great weekend !!!!
Good morning Granny!! Daniel, never doubt a determined father. He did great getting the tank out and turned around. Thanks for a heads up on an upcoming young farmer video. Always good to punch new farmers efforts to educate the world about agriculture. Hope the rain did not cause too much cotton loss. May God bless you all.
Hey Daniel we always carry a heat gun tester, it has a laser pointer on it, so we can check heat in bearings engines etc, just point and check, never trust sensors at times. Also you can get a head gasket test kit, it's a solution that changes colour if it detects exhaust gasses in your header tank. Keep up the good work mate from New Zealand. 👍🇺🇸💪🇳🇿
Another good one Daniel, thanks for taking the extra few minutes to allow access to the reservoir safely, farm accidents happen in the blink of an eye and several people count on you staying healthy. Kudos for mentioning Eliza’s video, gonna check it out next!
We had a similar problem with a haul truck. Dealer said leaking head gasket but ended up being air in the system. Took about 30 minutes to get the air out but been going with no problems for about 6 months now. Good luck!
Hello, Sir. Enjoy watching very single video you folks do , Keep 'em coming. Just a respectful suggestion for Little Thomas , Sometime back, you featured him at the beginning of a video where you folks were repairing a water bib. Little Thomas had his helmet on and riding his little motorcycle ; and jumping over a few obstacles. Have you considered featuring him at the open of every Cotton Picking Video as "Weevil Keneevil" after the years ago Las Vegas Guy -Evil Keneevil ! It might start him young in the Production/Marketing Business, and builds confidence in him ! Just a thought. Thanks for listening, and hello to your Grandma !
The letter you read is correct. I know I enjoy that you show everything, good and bad and the fact that you aren't afraid to laugh at yourself. Also think it's great that you are willing to help out up and coming youtubers like this, other youtubers won't. Keep up the great work.
Good morning Granny, I remember when your Dad used all that equipment with the pickers, module makers, boll buggy’s and tractors was quite the convoy going from field to field, Hope y’all have a great day and weekend
Daniel, another great video. Your family, crew and videos always remind us of the best of the south, the beauty of Alabama, and the hard work that goes into the things we take for granted all too often. Granny, you must be proud as punch of this family of yours! Have a great weekend.
Daniel, when I farmed cotton back in the 90s we used a transfer pump with hose necked down to about 3/4 inch to wash heads. That way you do not have to get as close to heads while they are turning to wash. Just a thought.
Very good video Daniel hopefully y'all figured out the over heating of the cotton picker. It was funny watching your dad spin his way around with the fuel trailer. Good morning Granny 🌞
Good morning Granny, hope you are having a wonderful day ❤, and good morning Dan,Daniel and all of Triple R Farms, hope that got your cotton picker straightened, really enjoy your videos keep them coming my friend
Pressure washing the head every morning is the way we do it and also the backpack blower is exactly what we use I was so glad to see someone else blowing off one instead of me being the one covered in all the dust
We updraded to a 7760 last season and brought a industrial compressor. we use it every morning to clean the heads and the picker. you might get abit dirty but it seems to do the job
Be thankful ya'll still have cotton to pick because a farmer here in North Carolina lost his entire crop of cotton when hurricane IAN came through. God bless many prayers and stay safe.
I dont think there is a profession more thankful than farming. As well as supportive of each other. Tragedies happen daily everywhere in this lifestyle
I remember doing that every morning on a 9976. It was on 30in rows and I was always alone. Sucked moving them heads out lol. But man it would pick so good afterwards
NOT able to unload the bales, Please check the electromagnetic valves of Y394, Y374, Y376 or pressure sensor X216. We had similar issues the last year and we fixed by replacing the core of electromagnetic valves. 😅
Absolutely love the videos and watched some old videos and subscribed quick question what kind of drone do you use? the footage is absolutely phenomenal
I was going to ask about using a pressure washer🤔 Mind you, I know nothing about cotton or a cotton picker😀 How would it be to wash the heads in the evening after picking all day, while everything is warm🤔 Wouldn't it wash off better🤔 Just A thought!!!
Recently found your channel a few months ago and absolutely love it. You seem like an average person not like some of the other channels. Don't get me wrong the guys are good but let's just say you can tell some were born with a silver spoon in their mouth. So keep up what your doing hope your doing well and good luck on this channel and your harvest
How are you going to get the cotton off the ground or is this a loss of the crop, years ago they had a machine attachment called a rood that would get the cotton off of the ground.
Your dad reminds me so much of mine. I am 70 and like your dad once he decided he was gonna get that tank out with his truck he was gonna do it if he tore his truck and everything else up. 😂😂😂
Dad was gonna get that tank out or dig that entire landing/field edge up! He'd still be out there! I know, cause I'm the same way! :) Hello to Granny, sorry for the cotton loss! It does happen, but it always hurts!
Good morning Granny!! Daniel what happened to the Dan Post boots?? A haircut makes a big difference. Great Video. Real kind of you to promote the young ladies UA-cam channel.
Haven’t commented in a while. But I still enjoy the videos 👍🏽 also was wondering if you had Instagram. I enjoy following other “farmtuber” instagrams to see kinda what they are doing throughout the week before their video

Ok, thanks for watching 👍😁
Hi Granny, Love you guys. Thanks for the videos.
Cool, thanks for watching 👍😁
Daniel, That is how we used to clean our was in my opinion easier to wash them than clean by hand !

Another awesome video and Daniel when I was running the john deere 9960 and 9965 pickers we use to wash the headers every MORNING
Thanks for watching 👍😁
Looking forward to seeing Granny. Love the banter between you and your Dad. Have a good weeekend and pray the rain stops.
Good job, love your show. Sweet Home Alabama....RT
Love the channel I used to come thur there when I was hauling cotton seed out of Georgia back to Arkansas keep the videos coming
Your Dad is a hoot! You guys are great Farmers! Got the triple r farms hat. Nice! To make a farm work you have to work. Nice equipment!
Morning Granny!
The letter you read is correct. I know I enjoy that you show everything, good and bad and the fact that you aren't afraid to laugh at yourself. Also think it's great that you are willing to help out up and coming youtubers like this, other youtubers won't. Keep up the great work.

Good morning.
Your Dad was very entertaining today. Loved your video, Hi Granny you have a neat grandson for sure.
I can not wait to see granny, love the channel man. I have watched for about 2 or 3 seasons now. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for watching.
You need a Dodge Dually 4wd with real farming/ranching tires to move the fuel tank
Daniel, another great video. Your family, crew and videos always remind us of the best of the south, the beauty of Alabama, and the hard work that goes into the things we take for granted all too often. Granny, you must be proud as punch of this family of yours! Have a great weekend.
I am!! Thanks .
It's the hose. I had the same issue on an JD Excavator. I will bet you fixed it.
I see the problem with those pickup trucks not being able to pull the tank. They both say GMC on the front of them.
Man your dad is so much like my daddy usta be. Hahaha great stuff. Granny please keep em straight. God bless you all
Thanks for watching 👍😁
Daniel, when I farmed cotton back in the 90s we used a transfer pump with hose necked down to about 3/4 inch to wash heads. That way you do not have to get as close to heads while they are turning to wash. Just a thought.
Good idea, thanks for watching 👍😁
Your dad screwing with you was funny 😆
I would suggest that you keep one of the guys in the cab of the picker so if an accident happened he could shut down the picker asap.
I agree about being close to the moving parts when pressure washing. I wonder if you had a longer ( possible bent) wand.
That would help, thanks for watching 👍😁
Very good video Daniel hopefully y'all figured out the over heating of the cotton picker. It was funny watching your dad spin his way around with the fuel trailer. Good morning Granny 🌞
Good morning!!
Good morning Granny, hope you are having a wonderful day ❤, and good morning Dan,Daniel and all of Triple R Farms, hope that got your cotton picker straightened, really enjoy your videos keep them coming my friend
The tracks in the mud, someone was looking for free diesel!
Pressure washing the head every morning is the way we do it and also the backpack blower is exactly what we use I was so glad to see someone else blowing off one instead of me being the one covered in all the dust
Well the plugged vent explains the collapsed hose so keeping fingers crossed on the overheating 👍
Like all your videos here in NC!!
Daniel, don’t ever bet against dad, if dad says he can do it, he will.
Is the cotton yields better this year than last?
Be blessed you guys✌🏾🙏🙏
Thanks for watching 👍😁
Howdy triple R farms
Thanks for watching 👍😁
We updraded to a 7760 last season and brought a industrial compressor. we use it every morning to clean the heads and the picker. you might get abit dirty but it seems to do the job
Man like Daniel with some serious tekkers kicking those bottles! love to see it
I know y’all probably don’t have to time but it’d be awesome if y’all made it to the sunbelt ag expo in moultrie ga next week
Good video Daniel I think your dad wanted to play around lol hello granny how are you doing
He did, thanks for watching 👍😁
We are loving dad an the crew keep the videos coming
Great video good to see y'all again tell granny hello God bless y'all
Thanks so much.
You need to take that washer to the rad on the engine to help with your overheating
Love the videos. Great idea on field goal kicks and sorry to see the cotton take a hit from the rain! God bless!
I remember doing that every morning on a 9976. It was on 30in rows and I was always alone. Sucked moving them heads out lol. But man it would pick so good afterwards
We always cleaned ours that night that we didn’t have much to do the next morning and you wasn’t that nasty that morning.
Sometimes you have to do things that are uncomfortable to get the best yield you're tough you can do it
NOT able to unload the bales, Please check the electromagnetic valves of Y394, Y374, Y376 or pressure sensor X216. We had similar issues the last year and we fixed by replacing the core of electromagnetic valves. 😅
Absolutely love the videos and watched some old videos and subscribed quick question what kind of drone do you use? the footage is absolutely phenomenal
Mavic 3, thanks for watching 👍😁
Sounds like the water pump fins are worn down and that they're not moving enough water to cool the picker?
I was going to ask about using a pressure washer🤔 Mind you, I know nothing about cotton or a cotton picker😀 How would it be to wash the heads in the evening after picking all day, while everything is warm🤔
Wouldn't it wash off better🤔 Just A thought!!!
It might, thanks for watching 👍😁
Great blower, but, could have saved 40% buying it somewhere besides john deere.
Mash the gas, turn them tires!
Hopefully you will cure the overheating issue, great video.
Thank You for sharing your family videos with us
Thanks for watching.
You always do your videos from your heart please don’t change anything 😊
Recently found your channel a few months ago and absolutely love it. You seem like an average person not like some of the other channels. Get Simplysafe system to protect your buildings and property DANEIL !!!
Daniel, I wondere if adding 4' to the pressure wand would make the washing job easier and safer? What do you think?
Thanks Daniel for the video take care of yourself and family ❤️ it. Hi Granny be blessed have a great weekend.
Thanks.
Can’t wait to see you on a video granny, 😊😊
Don’t know about that.😊
Love your video’s Daniel, they’re very down to earth. Keep them coming!
Afternoon granny. Hope you getting the overheating issue fixed
Good afternoon.
Give grandma a big ol hug for me.
Thanks for thinking about me!!
How are you going to get the cotton off the ground or is this a loss of the crop, years ago they had a machine attachment called a rood that would get the cotton off of the ground.
Excellent again
Your doing a great job.
Of course, it’s easy to click on Eliza Nickells film. Sad that rain ruins an otherwise good harvest.
Great Video! Any long sleeve t shirts coming to the store?
They are coming, thanks for watching 👍😁
How many bales have you made so far??
very nice
And I really like your Channel
Do enjoy ur videos
👍👍
Hate to see those cotton bolls on the ground....praying not much more rain until harvest is done.
Good morning.
Good morning Granny!! Daniel what happened to the Dan Post boots?? A haircut makes a big difference. Great Video. Real kind of you to promote the young ladies UA-cam channel.
Good morning.
Never bet against pops, lol
Be careful
Thanks for watching 👍😁
Ill bet pop put 5 miles on his truck to move your fuel tank a quarter mile.
looks like your father was on a mission to move that fuel tank and he made it happen that red clay is slick stuff when its wet
Looks dangerous Daniel. I'm sure it worked great on 2 row heads too many moving parts too close together on the 6 row. Definitely not worth the risk
You know you should be recycling all those plastic bottles.😀
You gotta stop underestimating pops, and hello granny.
Hello and thanks for watching.
Im still new here so idk everyones name. But could u give the colored man a camera and let him film a day in his life?
"Almost" only counts in horseshoes and grenades.
Arm or leg-----the results the same!
Never
Wait till you get older and have eye, urologist and dermatologist MD competing for your time!
One out of 3 not good
Your daddy showed you how to get that tank out …….
We got washed out just NE of you and I mean water logged!🤦🏻♂️
Haven’t commented in a while. But I still enjoy the videos 👍🏽 also was wondering if you had Instagram. I enjoy following other “farmtuber” instagrams to see kinda what they are doing throughout the week before their video
