this was not the Eur/USD's fault; the Martingale system, or doubling-down to infinity, will make you go broke, eventually. particularly if your account size is small, relative to the lot size. the reason i would say this, is that the orders are going up in size, as the losses mount. and in addition, you've got transactional costs, i.e. slippage, that you never recover. this zero-sum game, is evidenced, by the final 'profit' of $24, vs. the maximum draw-down. so, i would rate this EA as a fail.

No, our VPSes were getting very full, so we had to remove several EAs

Have you tried this EA with the 3 pullback pairs you mentioned? You could combine it with a 3rd party equity protection EA to cap the drawdown. What do you think?
I tried it, and it works fine. Actually, in the inputs, there is the option to control the Drawdown.

SEEK YOUR WISDOM SIR, I have 2 choices--1) buy one given forex pair every new day at the open at market price wth take profit(TP) 50 pips and stop loss(SL)50 pips on one ticket as one order 2) second choice is to buy same pair but order is placed as pending order at the open of every new day--buy the same forex pair 100 pips below the open price as pending order with take profit of 50 pips and stop loss of 50 pips all on the same ticket.And after one year of every day trading which strategy is more likely to make any money?And what answer SUPERCOMPUTER would give to my question?
Hi navketan1965. No 1 strategy will work in all market conditions. The best thing to do, is backtest both strategies over the last 1 year's historical data, and get an idea of which would have worked best. Keep in mind, that past performance doesn't guarantee future results, so I'd keep backtesting every month or so
I live In the USA. I believe it's law here that you can't open an order in both directions because its considered hedging and is illegal. Am I understand the rules correctly here or is there a way around this?
Hi mt5371, you are correct. That is the FIFO rule. Before opening a new trade in the opposite direction to your open trade/s, you need to close the open positions.

I purchased this EA. But now, when I had refreshed the page , it doesn’t show me ‘ Connect Meta ‘ option or anything to click on any more. It still shows I have purchased it
That is strange...did you try to contact MQL5?
@@PetkoAleksandrov no, but that issue is resolved now. Now, it does get connected with the Meta 5 on laptop when I click on ‘ install on terminal ‘ . Nothing happens and screen doesn’t move

Well you are right that martingales are risky. But the person that made this martingale probably intented pure matematical trading without any decision type or filtering its obvious when it starts with a hedge trade. Ususally such systems are grid based. This ea will allways have a drawdown becouse it starts with a hedge. But i can still see it be used as a tool deppending on how lazy the trader is. It could such be used as a tunnel trapping system. But that would need you to have backup liquiduty to ride out drawdowns and then also when in profit reset account liquidity so you allways have a backup.
Hi BushLieWorldDie . You are 100% correct. Thanks for the great comment. That's exactly why a grid or martingale system would not be suitable for a low leverage account, and risk settings are so important.
@@PetkoAleksandrov yes risk and levrage is everyrhing especially with this types.
It called averaging up or down and should be never used at all. Resulting most of the time in much bigger losses than just close trade and even change side because something is obviously wrong with one's perception of direction.

Hi maudiebush5746, you don't necessarily need much experience, but you do have to understand the basics of trading, and the MT4 platform. We have many free videos on UA-cam that can get you prepared.

Hi wanrahweinamchannels8926, you cannot trade with robots on a phone. You need to install the Metatrader 4or 5 platform onto your PC/laptop, and have it switched on with uninterrupted internet access.

Hi user-qf5fb8uh2m, I have never had any issues, but if you are concerned, you can simply change 1 or 2 of the settings very slightly, like SL and TP range, indicator value, etc.

Hi arbelalexandersoncio2565, no. Your computer and platforms need to be on and running 24/7 for the EAs to be connected to the broker's server. Hi luckyok9030, It's not possible to trade with EAs on a phone. You need a PC, Mac, laptop or VPS to trade with EAs on MT4 and MT5

Welcome, and thank you. While trading with EAs does in essence remove any need for manual intervention, you do have to monitor the performance of your EAs, changing them as needed. Once you find an EA you like, you can request a custom set file from the developers. Or, if you use the Top 10 App, you have access to all of the best EAs in current market conditions. However, in this case, you would need to spend 10 - 15 minutes per week downloading the latest best EAs, and changing them on your platform accordingly.

Hi fxtradingtv287, this sounds like a problem on your end. Make sure you have enabled auto trading before placing the EAs onto the charts. Yu can also run a backtest to make sure trades would have opened. You can also try a different broker, and don't forget to check your journal for any errors.

That is how martingale systems work, but I think in the US you can't really hadge because of the FIFO.
...not unless you find an EA thats "US Friendly" & hedging is coded to always be off by a bit
Ex: .1 Short & .2 Long or 🔄
Apparently FIFO is disregarded as long as the lot sizes are different...??
..but then you risk premature increase in margin &/OR blown account

These are the 3 I mentioned: AUDNZD, AUDCAD and CADNZD.
I don't like grid martingale any ea with grid this will and most of the time blow your account if you got in trend market.
I recorded a second video about it, as I found a way to control the risk. The video will be live next week.
I think they have another of $35, guess that will be a better one to choose
