We appreciate your business!
If all my watches had to be one brand, they would be Longines.
Fair pick, definitely can make a solid case for them. Grand Seiko would be my choice but I’m just one of those fanboys.
@@F80mthree Case thickness and price makes me hesitate w GS. But tech, artistry and finishing certainly supports your choice. You’ve got me second guessing my statement!
Omega would be my choice, but Longines is a close second
I agree, no brand can compare when it comes to a broad range of quality
I keep trying to do the same but then Oris.......
i went to the boutique today to try another model, but stumbled upon this, put it on and holy shit!! What a watch, online photos dont do it justice, now i cant stop thinking about it, think i might really commit to getting one
Vacationing in Switzerland right now and I just bought one. Knew about this gem 2 years ago and I'm glad I finally got one!
This video is many years late, but great that it finally got covered. I don't understand why this watch isn't talked about as much as the other stuff.
Because it’s a dress watch, and almost nobody wears dress watches anymore. Very nice, though.
One of the most beautiful dress watch I’ve seen lately just adorable ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am a vintage style watch lover and Longines is by far the best brand for this imo. I own this very watch (but with gold hands + champaigne dial) and the Longines Conquest Heritage which is also a wonderful vintage model they offer even for a few hundred bucks less. Thanks for the wonderful presentation!
I've had my eye on a conquest 9000 form 1954 this is a beautiful alternative for a new watch
Hi Teddy., could you please review the Master Collection, nobody is talking about that line, maybe because it came out some time ago., before the reviews were a thing. Greetings from MX.
I also have a Flagship. It is a great looking watch at a reasonable price. There are some people in the U.S. who remember the name Longine. They are surprised the company is still making watches.
36mm version would look nice as well, but this Neo vintage watch is a lot of bang for your buck
I own the off white version and it’s a beautiful dress watch, it reminds me of my dad’s 1930 Zenith watch. The only downside is, it doesn’t have a solid robust case for the price point.
I own the conquest heritage. Love the watch.
The hesalite one 35mm?
I've always liked this model - thanks for sharing!
Glad you like it!
I love this watch, the design and proportions are almost flawless. The only thing it needs is one of longines’ updated movements with antimagnetic properties and a little more water resistance, plus a nice bracelet option.
Nah a dress watch is not a watch to put on a bracelet. I never get that. A dress is the most classic on a leather strap. I have this flagship and the crocidile strap is really nice.
Teddy on his Longines bender. Please review the new Conquest 2023!
YES
it's good looking watch from Longines excellent Heritage collection. I bought the Silver Arrow because I prefer the cleaner lines of no date.
sliver arrow is a good choice, saw it in the boutique, not for me though
I have a 2 tone men’s flagship watch. It’s such good quality. I believe there as good quality watch as you will find
Yesterday i bought the new conquest 41mm w green dial. Its so much better now! It looke more like a dressy aquaterra now!
Good choice!
Longines is in very good hands at the moment expect great things
They certainly seem to be hitting all the notes as of late.
I bought this for under $1000 in a sale and I love it! Absolute bargain!
Bullshit, no you didn’t. Stop lying to get likes
This is a good level up from the Bambino ! I like it! Its sorta a natural evolution in collecting
That is an interesting way to look at it but definitely a good jump.
@@TeddyBaldassarreReviews wow! a response from teddy!!! keep it up! your doing great work !!!!
i was wearing the 38mm bambino when i saw this exact watch, very similar form, but definitely the next step up
Yeah I almost pulled the trigger on the cream dial until I noticed the sub seconds running through the date window. A little thing, but I knew it would bother me on this piece that has an otherwise brilliant design language.
It is a small feature that in all honesty, I don't notice all that much. However, the same cannot be said for everybody as we all tend to fixate on the small details.
I just seen that there is new 3 watches from flagship collection with moon phase and glass lid, i'm cursious how they are looking in person.
Teddy please can you review the new Longines Flagship Moonphase? 🙏🙏
between this and the Zulu Time I think Longines might be my new favorite brand.
The LONGINES quality for a low price. The FLAGSHIP watche is truly elegant . Perfect design, very nice in black. Thank you TEDDY.
LOW PRICE? For Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos perhaps.
It is a timeless dress watch. Bought it recently. Looks more expensive than what it is.
Man i kinda wish this thing was available with silver hands and indices with that black dial. Still a stunning watch tho.
Sheesh Teddy, I was just considering this watch(cream dial)to commemorate the birth of my firstborn next month, God willing. 🙌🏼
Congratulations! What a great way to celebrate the occasion.
Video on Longines Conquest 2023 soon!?
A very beautiful watch, I looked on your website but you don't ship to Canada 😩
Teddy, were you wearing the new Zenith Pilot Automatic while making this vid?? Please tell you will be reviewing it soon 😅
🤫
I have the white, just love it..
I would like to buy a new black dress watch but I don’t know what choose: Seiko Sarb033, Longines Conquest Heritage 35 mm, Longines Flagship. Can you suggest me the best buy? Thanks. Marco
Thankyou Teddy ⌚❤
Hi Teddy, I have a 6-1/2” wrist - will this watch be too large for me? Thanks. PS - I love all of your videos.
Yea, but what's that on your wrist with the Arabic numerals? It looks awesome! Is it a Murph??
The dial and hands remind me of a grand Seiko.
Teddy will you be reviewing the newly released Conquest 2023 anytime soon?
We hope to have them in for review sometime soon, stay tuned!
Does anybody know which watch Teddy is wearing in this video (can be observed at the very start of the video, as he is speaking into the camera)?
Can you do a review on the Longines Record vs. their Master?
great information.
Thanks for watching!
For British people of a certain age - it’s got a coveted Blue Peter Badge on the back! 😅
If i had to collect only variants of a single watch it would be the flagship; already have two.
Any idea when the new Flagship moonphase is coming out? I've seen the silver dial on some retailers but no news on the blue dial and its driving me crazy that there's nothing official on it yet.
Chose the conquest instead for a more vintage size & looks.
My man, your last name is pronounced “b-aa-l-d-aa-s-s-AA-r-r-eh”, and would be interesting if your name is of any connection with the legendary baldassarre castiglione?
Anyway love the review!!
It's nice but too big for a dress watch.
For 2 grand you seem to get a lot of watch. I'm not a fan of alligator straps at all unfortunately.
The strap is a bit polarizing. However, it is a fantastic piece for the price and the watch works well on all sorts of other leather options.
Why is this so much cheaper than the conquest heritage?
Reminds me of a vintage seiko alpinist
The date window is so off center. What a turn of 🤦
I feel so attracted to Longines watches, but (in my humble opinion) the problem is that for someone like me who never, literally never, dress formal is kinda hard to find a good everyday Longines watch, apart from the Spirit line of course any suggestions? The Conquest and Hydroconquest collections are very cool, but they don’t awake that emotional reaction on me 😕
Legend Diver. The bronze case w/ green dial is particularly handsome.
The Longines Ultra-Chron is amazing. The Avigation BigEye and Spirit Flyback are stunning chronographs.
Buy the watch than a few suits to match your watch.
If I could justify a dress watch - this would be it, unless I was going to spend an awful lot of money
this watch’s price just called me poor 😭
One more con, the rotor is kind of loud. It is the loudest compare the 6 other watches. (seiko, Tudor, omega and Rolex)
A vintage styled watch like this should not be 46mm lug to lug in my opinion.
Vibes my cheapo Orient Bambino
More than a couple of notches above in quality though...especially when you see and hold one in the flesh.
I will never understand, that Longines offer only dialmetre 35mm ... 38,5 mm. No 40 mm or 42mm at the Heritage Serie. Useless.
This model badly needs no date. Longines puts date onevrrthinf
⌚🤟
Yet another beautiful watch spoiled by a date window :-(
Too big
I have been trying to like Longines for years and have come to the conclusion that they are just a fundamentally flawed company. They are the guy in the bar that can’t stop talking about his glory days. If they can’t offer anything fresh, what’s the point? It’s to the point that it’s actually repulsive to me to hear “underrated Longines”. They WERE a great company, now they’re just an overpriced well made homage brand.
How can they be a homage brand when it is their own designs? What you say applies to 90% of the watch brands out there, tapping into and resurrecting their old and vintage designs. Or fundamentally just doing the same thing over again. Longines is no different here. They are also one of the biggest Swiss brands in terms of sales volume....
@@jasongultjaeff9397 Sales numbers mean nothing to my taste in collecting. It’s the fact that the vast majority of their designs are either direct copies of their old line up or slightly updated versions of their old lineup. They are homaging their own past, which is worse than taking risks and failing in my mind. Even their so called modern designs look dated or like an old design with a modern element shoe horned in like oversized numerals or chunky crown guards. Then they want to charge you thousands because they are Swiss and have continuity of operation. It’s a hard pass for me until they start doing something worth the money design wise.
Really disagree with you here. Longines has a heritage line with lots of great watches based on their own designs such as the Avigation Big Eye great complications at reasonable prices like the master collection, and modern watches like the new Hydroconquest GMT. If you don't like them that's cool but I feel like they've been killing it recently.
Hey, if you like plain oatmeal then you like plain oatmeal but I have yet to see a Longines that is beautiful enough to justify the price tag. Something about their design dna is dated and off putting. I’m also not a complications guy so I don’t particularly want GMTs, chronographs, moonphases, etc. I wanted to like the brand because so many enthusiasts like it and they have comparatively decent prices and their own designs but I’ve wasted so much time trying to find a reason to like this brand that that I’ve just written them off now.
@@acp02091 so what brands do you like ?
