I think you should be able to play games from it. But, I have not played games for many years so can't say about the heating. However, i watch movies directly from the drive while downloading videos at the same time and while doing that it did not heat up. So I think heating should not be an issue.
@@gurribuyi need for my laptop I have 512gb SSD in laptop but need some more storage for storing games and other data , either 1tb SSD or hdd . speed is not big concern for me
I installed my dell laptop hdd. The hdd had some data as well as the windows installation. After installing the hdd in this enclosure all the data stayed.

yes. At least in my testing It did not work with any other usb C cable that i have other than its own cable that came in the box.

yes, I tested it with a Baseus and ugreen power delivery USB C to C cable and it worked. I can't say about any other cables.

samsung t7 can be directly connected to any computer. You do not need any enclosure for that.

Any brand will work. 1 TB seagate HDD will also work. But, it has to be a 2.5 inch laptop hdd.

yes, it is kind of flimsy but that is not the important bit. it works fine and also coes with a carrying case. so i think it is good value for money.
