It astounds me how this organisation, who the tax payers of the UK are forced to pay for, feel that its not acceptable for the public to freely scrutinise them and to get evidence of how they spend the money given their way.
Edit: "which is why you're acting up..."

Love it the way they turn it around that you are being confrontational, but if you look at it logically they are the ones being confrontational!!! If they come out and see you are filming, that should be enough. Being there has been a memo from Senior Police Officers saying what should be done with photographers and they should be left alone. They come out mod handed then not tell you they are filming, even though it’s in there policy. I think you are able to see that they are very selective about what the law is and how it should be applied. Also as soon as you show them up for not keeping to their policies they in turn get confrontational, because they don’t like being shown up, that when they get vindictive and then try to arrest you to get back at you.
Sad thing is they are being given more powers and this is only going to get worse 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

It isnt rocket science.
Likewise for court buildings .If they have issues with identity of victims etc. then they should not parade them in front of media. It isnt for the media to move from a public place whenever the police might have concern . It is for the police to guard the things they need to guard. Similarly if a health worker leaves information out in public view it isnt the media at fault for filming it! It is the health system need to protect it!

Job center security to his radio " theyre okay, theyre just making a documentary on the police and they have a right to film here anyway "
LITERALLY seconds later the gestapo arrive to quiz members of the public during a lawful activity. Its priceless. Job center guy was sound.

Stop calling her miss you're not 7 years old. Also why do you explain everything to them? You feed them too much info that they are not entitled to. Ultimately if the victims in the station don't feel safe being recorded it just means that the police need to change their procedure or change the law if they don't want the police station to be filmed. They should uphold the law. There should be no asking you to do anything outside of the law. End of.
Other than than good up the great work very entertaining

I’m sure if three men tried running through those gate, a little lady in a uniform wouldn’t provide much resistance. She’d just be ironed out like a pair of trousers in a steam press. She was too spiteful to put the blue lights on for the Little children with runny noses and holes in their shoes. It’s a shame ay it?

Reply: And I'm going to film you doing it, so are these guys, then we are going to publish that on the internet showing that you don't obey the law. I hope your mum will be proud.

It would make me feel abit uncomfortable being filmed in the police station reception but I know I’d have to deal with it and it’s down to the police to make it private.

I would like more info on the knife bins mate if you could ask next time your out it would be great.. what I really wanna know is if someone is on their way into a police station to use the knife bin.. Will the plods grab you before you get a chance to dispose of the knife or is the journey with the knife covered by the "amnesty" ? 🤔

I remember the days when if you where a victim of crime, the police used to come to see you. Also we used to have police on the beat getting useful information of the public, also the very visual presence of the police used to deter crime not now sadly. Same as trying to get an ambulance in Manchester 6 hours. Also the NHS out of hours service 111 an absolute waste of time, tried twice in the last month on hold 40 then 35 minutes.

It's not that. People have to go in and out the police station in the first place and there's a waiting room. Teleportation doesn't exist yet.

  • @3mz52

    This commentary “alright ladies” 🤣🤣
They always use the “vulnerable people” or the “victims” card & “They don’t want to be filmed” etc Yet they fail to realise with or without people auditing their always being recorded. Let’s be honest the real question is why don’t they want the stations to be filmed? Granted the debate for “security reasons” is somewhat understandable. However if you look at the history of police stations being “attacked” in the uk, there isn’t any from my knowledge. Yes officers have been but that’s a completely different issue entirely.

As far as I can tell the last bombing attempt of a police station on the British mainland was by the Angry Brigade in 1970. Even then the bomb was discovered before it went off. Their paranoia is misplaced.

What you could say when told about filming in the foyer is,"what YOU must understand is,/ you must appreciate, what you' want' (he even stated it was a request that he tried to force with threats )and what is illegal are Grand Canyon wide" . Use cop 101 standard speech back on them.

    • @DaveCarterAL
      @DaveCarterAL 2 роки тому +1

He says Understand and/or Appreciate because the words have meaning in court. Appreciate means to fully understand and UNDERSTAND means to agree.
So he is begging for an agreement to what he wants, so he can then enforce it. He wants you to say YES but .... then he has his YES. Just say NO. No understand, No agree.
You see American Police often saying Hears the Deal, or These are your options, No Deals, no options, NO.
