Our stories are somewhat similar. My husband is my brother's friend too and right from the first day, he had told me he wanted to marry me. I also wrote my own prayer request and kept
in my family alter. The first day I visited my husband was when I knew he was the one. I neva had a single doubt in my heart as I have been having with other men I met b4 him. At some point my brother was no longer happy with him but he fought for our love. He changed my life. Helped me to gain admission in the university, supported me throughout my studies and waited patiently to marry me. Now, I am a masters graduate because of him. A good husband is a real treasure.
You don’t know how helpful this video is. I’ve been in that headspace for a while now, where you were wondering if you’d ever find your husband and I’ve even tried to put up an ‘I don’t care’ front because of hurt. Summary is that this video has really encouraged me to keep praying, not give up or lower my standards. Someday I’ll find someone who ticks my boxes like your husband did yours. This was such a lovely video and you are so beautiful, I couldn’t stop staring at how clear your skin is.

Naturally, Igbo men are very intentional. The one who will marry you, will tell you the very first day he meets you, no matter the condition you give him.
My hubby saw me in a wedding, and told his friends that he has seen his wife, please note that he never spoke to me at that wedding. One of the guys he told called me the very next morning and told what my now hubby told them.
He got my line from someone and called me a few days after and told me strength ahead. I was in 400 level then studying a professional course.
He said" i am going to marry you, but you have to finish everything about your school, and be called to Bar before we will get married" . He allowed me to focus.

My relationship of 4 years just ended too because of tribal differences. His mother said he cannot marry someone who's not igbo so we had to part ways. I'm still quite heartbroken cuz we were perfect for each other but I believe God has someone better out there for me❤
Our story is very similar. I also felt the same way but trust me, you will be glad it never worked out in the future. You will marry into a family that accepts you and you will be very happy you let go.
