Saved this for later. I'm sure it's as good as the comments say! you blokes not only do some killer offroading, but also make videos just as great! As I'm also from the states, & bouncing all around brisbane trying trails, would be very keen to come see your part of this island... might hit you up once the GU is sorted😎👍
You're more than welcome mate. Thank you on the compliments 👍 Also, feeling a bit curious why you got yourself a GU instead of something you're already familiar with.
just a fondness mate. Plus, grew up in an offroading family, and learned early on that stronger parts take you further. And anything I'm used to in that size, is way too expensive to get here. 1ton dana axles, and the like... I'm pretty impressed with what the patrols, & landcruisers can withstand in stock form. My gu is an 06 td42 😆 had 84,000ks when i got it 2-3 months ago. As i love in qld, I won't be going as big as the silver wagon. 4in lift and 35-37in boots... How much engineering does nsw require for a rig that big?
Great Video guys... hope to see you out there one day. Could you tell me where the river crossing is at 4.27? i assume the river run at the cox just before that is the long way round from the quarry to MT walker? but the rapid river crossing looks like something i haven't seen yet. I have a bunch of trucks doing this trip in a few weeks and would love some advice on the area. Cheers
Thanks mate, glad you liked the video. You're more than welcome to join us. You're right about the river crossing. That other one is when you go down the mountain to the campsite where the baits are laid, and towards going out to the meadows on the way to Great Western Highway.
The amount of damage the storm does to a track at a single time is more than a whole season of wheeling. I've actually been on top of this one and watched it eroding so much, and more on the less driven side than the driven one.
You guys are setting the standard here. Fan bloody tastic!!
Thank you very much 👍👍👍
This is one of my favourite videos yet!
Thanks mate 👍 Glad you liked it so much.
some very skillful driving from the guy in the patrol @11.00 mins.
Thanks mate 👍
10/10 detailed description. plan to definitely do that route! excellent video
Thanks mate 👍 Glad you liked the description and the video. If you need anymore details about the trip, feel free to ask.

Jason Dalton 4" lift and 35s isn't hard to engineer, but 37s... dunno.
meant the silver wagon😆 engineering a monster, or nsw easier?

I've been there our jeep got up there in 2wd
Yeah, we had people drive it up in 2wd too, around the bypasses.
Where is the white Nissan Patrol turbo?
Here, it's in the latest upload: ua-cam.com/video/Fo5atMK-HCw/v-deo.html
why you'll guys get Diesel and we don't in US? nice video
Right hand drive Grands are built in Austria so we get whatever they have available.
+Vnzl 85 They had the diesel WK Grands available in the US up until 2008 (but rare), then stopped due to some emission laws.
oh didnt see this one ....
Thank you for watching our videos 👍👍👍
