      I think limiting shake to onlythe final attack in the combo could help to make it feel impactful without being to excessive. Something else you might wanna consider would be adding some kind of lock on and making the camera a bit farther away from the character so you can see a bit better. Also, if you want dmc feel, I would suggest adding some kind of stagger on hit for both enemies and players to make combat a bit more forgiving while still requiring the player to play carefully as to avoid getting hit and taking multiple hits. Human and smaller enemies should be easy to stagger while bigger and tougher beasts would have some kind of hidden stagger meter. It's okay if you wanna take a different approach with the combat. I'm just giving my two cents.
