  • There are 3 reasons force me to restore this tool. The first one is replacing old bearings, the second is painting a new color and the last one is replacing new grease in the gearbox. In this restoration, you will see the process as follows:
    1. Disassembly process
    2. Cleaning process
    3. Painting process
    4. Assembly process
    5. Testing
I hope you find something useful & enjoy this video!
I am happy to receive your feedback, advice, suggestions to improve myself.
!!! I apologize for the mistake if I have made in this restoration !!!
**I still keep some parts, I want to save the world's environment**
--------------Thank you so much for Likes & Comments--------------

I'm convinced that these restoration videos are subliminal advertisements for cleaning brushes. I almost feel the need to go and clean something after watching this! Seriously though, it is an absolute pleasure to watch your videos sir! Bravo on keeping the old tools alive! The design and even materials of some put the new tools to shame. Thanks for making my day : )

When you were wet sanding the housing I was thinking that someone should do a restoration with polished aluminum. But the silver hammer tone paint is absolutely beautiful. Well done. And everyone needs a heavy-duty corded drill in their shop!

In case you didn't know it, you're missing the drill stop. It's a rod that goes through the hole in the side of the drill body. It's adjustable for depth and is locked in place by the wing screw. Excellent video, Thanks for posting

Remarkable. I don't think this is a Rotary Hammer (Hummer). Just a powerful large size Drill. Excellent choice of Coating. I wish I could purchase your 'soft' jaws for my vises. Granular Laundry soap is a great degreaser. It is Restored to its former Looks and Function. Well Done. I paint Chuck Keys Red as they are easily lost if not attached to the power cord.

Just a thought, but I've seen other restorers cut a slot in the tops of the rivets that hold on the metal tag, then they just use a screw driver to turn them counter clockwise and remove them easily. I love the hammered aluminum paint finish!

Looks like not everything was completely dry when screwing the screws for the electrical contacts, we see a bit of water coming out when the screw is creating pressure. Possibly some seconds with a hair dryer (with strong wind, but moderately hot air) could have made everything perfectly dry ?
