I would have loved to try to meet up with you, to shake your hands, and thank you personally for the great videos that I love to watch. So..., I will say THANK YOU in a comment!
Mile Marker Mike: It takes a lot of work to edit video because you are putting all those video's into one final video and picking the right music. I totally agree.
shout out to Richard for doing the shocks and disk/brake change most of the people just take their bike in for every little thing , and for oil changes on the bikes too , man after me . now the engine work is different ,she sounds good even on video .
As a young-un I worked for a couple of years at a dairy. They ran two shifts 365 days a year. Milking stalls held 8 cows and we milked over 100 cows each shift. I really liked that job. (Barefoot and working outdoors). The fresh milk was an amazing perk and store bought pasteurized milk doesn't even hold a candle to it. Thanks for the video, really enjoyed it.
John, i would say a lot of folks don't know how good REAL whole milk tastes. sometimes farmers won't sell it to people. i think there might be a law against it. but i can say it really is good tasting stuff!
My wife and I love watching your journeys and thank you. I know you cannot answer everybody’s questions and if you cannot mine that’s ok. If you can please let me know the cameras you use and what app you use to edit them? Thanks again and God Bless

That must have been a hell of a rock. I had a rock about the size of a golf ball get sling-shotted up by the tire when glanced off of it. I was wearing a walking shoe. It split my big toenail and knocked my foot off the peg. I hobbled around for a week.
wow! pretty neat. i really am glad your toe is better. that has been a problem for quite a while. my uncle owned a dairy farm when i was a kid. did you have a drink of cold milk without the cream being separated first? some of the best tasting stuff, compared to what you buy in the store. and then make butter from cream. my uncle also made maple syrup in the winter. home made syrup and maple butter, candy, just the best. glad y'all back on the road. 100K on your bike, WOW! holy mackrel. and still running good. (of course i remember the maintenance) but still a LOT of miles. until next time. y'all be safe.
My R1200GS has 175,000 miles on it and has been in all the 49 states you can ride to along with all the provinces of Canada. I don't think I could ever sell it as I have so many great memories on it. Ride safe and hope to meet up with you again.
I’m a biker that rides a lot but the secret is I’m lazy and love to sleep all day sometimes and I work all week.Y’all put plenty of miles on the bikes to earn my respect 💪🏻
Hi Richard don’t mean to teach you how to suck eggs but I always tension the chain with the weight on the back wheel ie side stand as the suspension does sag and then you get the correct tension. Doing it on the centre stand almost always results in to9 tight a chain which is hard on the wheel bearings and gearbox bearing, especially as both your bikes are always fairly laden when on the road. Thks for all your trips, keep it up.
Yes I agreed, but I measured and added stead with the tension on the wheel and measured the distance with it on the stand and and always adjust to that number.
Speedy recovery Chris, I have broken three toes from kicking a rock to stubbing on a step and finally getting into a boat. Know the feeling. cheers and relax. Dave and Lorilei
Richard's new disks are Shiny! As an old construction worker I always like to wear boots while hiking because I worry about my ankles and uneven terrain. Heck I don't even walk my dogs in tennis shoes on sidewalks and bike paths.
Haven't had a broken toe, but, I told you about breaking my ankle bone in Colorado. I couldn't wear that boot as it rubbed my ankle bone where it was broken. I know it's sure not any fun tho. Glad yours healed up so fast!!
Guys just a quick note thecreason Chris tyre worn like that could be the ryre pressure with all the gear that she carries see needs to have the rear at about 42 psi .. .so front should be 38psi rear 4 lb more so 42psi ...remember Chrises Triumph is more of a sportier bike....higher pressure rounds the tyre low pressure will flatten it and that's why it wears in the middle and you get a flat spot ...worked in a bike shop here in New Zealand for about 5 years air pressure is very important see how her bike goes with those pressures in it will handle better and tge tyres will last alot longer Cheers Gary

Great channel. I look forward to your weekly posts. You do a great job with the video production and I really dig your music selection. When I was younger, my buddies and I would do a 3 to 5 thousand-mile ride every spring. I'm 75 now and have slowed down a bit, but still enjoy the occasional day trips. Hope you both stay healthy and continue enjoying the BIG life.. Just a word on the new rotors. I bought a new Road King a few years back and had to replace the brake pads at 5,000, miles. The second set lasted about as long as the first. So when I put on the 3rd set, I replaced the stock rotors with a set of Harley floating rotors. I bought the 4th set of pads at the same time and have yet to use them. The bike has about 70,000 miles on it now and there are still some miles left on the third set. The floaters were expensive but they have more than paid for themselves.

Huh? When I ride as a passenger with my husbands on his ultra limited I find the stock air shocks are way better for comfort than the progressive ones. Hope you like them. Maybe better for performance with a single rider.

Dr made a cast of my heel and made fiberglass things that I had to keep in my shoes....later had to do it again because I had grown.....after two yrs. they were fine....Huggzzyall
I always enjoy your videos, but I really enjoyed the way you put the long haul riding together. Also the dairy farm was great, we have a lot of dairy farms in the part of the UK where I live and I doubt that more than 5% of people near them know what goes on. Also, love Avon tyres and have them on my VStrom 650... Made in England, about 30 miles from where I live.
100,000 miles, that’s awesome!! Dairy farms are very cool, even if it was hot. Chris, I hope you drank lots of that milk, good for the bones😂. Some serious editing in this one, It cancer out great!!
Hi Chris or Rich. I noticed the forward foot pegs on the Tiger. Can you tell me the make or where to obtain them. I'm finally back in the USA next month, post covid, and think they would similarly fit on my Tiger 800 engine crash bars and often get bits mailed to my hotels while there.
They are Tourtech but I had to add some material between the bar and the peg to hold in place and tighten down. You can only throw your leg over it to cramped to put your foot on them.
Thank you for the reply .... have visited 26 states since 1997 (my wife has the fridge magnets to prove it LOL) but unfortunately only with a rental car. I would love to have the finances and energy (nearly 64) to fly my bike over and spend 6 months just riding across the states. Saw our only close up (baby) bear in the wild when we rounded a corner on the Skyline Drive, Blue Ridge Mountains and it was sat there in the middle of the road.
Hey guys.. Don't feel bad. I know whatcha mean. I've broken the middle toe on my right foot 3 times, on the same chair leg at our breakfast table. You think I'd learn by now. Good luck
Safely heal quickly. I had just finished reading lots of folks with foot and ankle breaks injuries. I then examined my "Sidi Trial Zero" boots and was able to fold those over at the ankle - not good at all. Driving 90 street some dirt, 550 lb bike. After significant research and review reading I went with the Gaerne Fastback Enduros for protection. A bit stiff up front but are wearing in nicely. Could not be happier I finally made that last ATGATT investment. Sharing for your review.
100,000 at Joplin. Would have bought you a beer to celebrate if you would have stopped. Ride safe! Give a review of those rotors, needing some for my bike and looking at those.
Rest up and heal. Nice shocks Rich. Who has the old Chevy in the back round? Early fifties? I am heading out through New England tomorrow (Monday). Should be a good trip!
Keep us updated on how those progressive springs work out, pls. I've been considering installing those on my 2000 Transalp. Big expense, but worth it from what i've heard so far. Hyperpro sellls 'm for about €800 front and back, 🇳🇱 NL.
