  • Our next stop was the town of Hue, a city well known for its imperial city and mausoleums.
Our first stop was the Mausoleum of Emperor Gia Long, the first emperor of the last dynasty in Vietnam.
We rented bicycles to get around easier, and set off to explore!
Due to the weather and time of year, we had this entire place to ourselves, and took our time enjoying the peaceful scenery and beautiful tombs.
The level of detail put into the stonework and surrounding landscape was very impressive.
Side note: some of the butterflies here are absolutely massive, and beautiful to watch.
Our next stop was the abandoned water park, which ironically enough is maintained regularly for tourists to visit and explore.
Between the impressive structures and endless graffiti, this was a very unique experience.
It was eerie to see such a large area left behind for nature to take over. I wouldn't want to be caught here after dark.
Our Last stop in Hue was the imperial city, containing many more impressive structures.
While it is a less common tourist destination in Vietnam, Hue was unique and impressive, and I would certainly recommend visiting if you get the chance.
    See you next time!

That water park is so spooky… ya’ll are brave, looks like a place with many ghosts 😬
