Brushes are an important key to really making a make-up application look its best. The first thing you want to make sure you have is a storage container for your brushes. They should be completely separate from all your products. And you definitely wanna try to invest in one, like, the Cozette Brush holder, it's really, really a great buy.
Also, you want to wash your brushes every day. Now, if you use make-up every day, you should wash them everyday with a clarifying shampoo. But if you don't use your brushes as often, just try using a brush cleaner, like, a Cozette Brush cleaner or something from Embryolisse. They have great cleaners and you can use them daily, just place it on a napkin, and wash the bushes, easy to go.
Don't be afraid to experiment with color. Pink and orange shades will work in any woman of color's beauty wardrobe. I love to use apricot. I love to use orange. I love to use pinks. They really will make your skin glow and look beautiful for any occasion.
I tell my clients to use the three-S-factor, when shopping for products. And the three-S-factor is simple: skin care, skin type, and skin tone.
First, in order to know what kind of skin care you should be using, you need to know your skin type. So, I always suggest learning and finding out what your skin type is. You may be oily, dry, normal, combination, or sensitive. If you fall into any one of those categories, it will be easy to figure out what your skin care regimen should be.
Once you know what your skin regimen is, then you can move on to your skin tone. You'll buy products that will help to make your actual skin look its best before you buy any cosmetic products. Now, skin tone, you'll be able to go to a store, and figure out what your skin foundation color should be, what your eye shadow color should be, and so on.
And finally, my last tip is don't abuse your makeup products. You definitely want to store them in a cool and dry place. Also, when they start to get old, or they start to look a little worn, you definitely want to discard of them because they can lead to a loss of color pay out, and definitely break out your skin.
