Yes, Thor indeed loved Loki deeply. But in the endgame, when he travelled time and see Loki, he was like "who cares about Loki, look at that girl Jane, she was my girlfriend ehehe". Which really pissed me off. They slaughtered Thor's character and emotional arc in the Endgame.
It may not appear obvious but Loki really do loves Thor; he tried many times to kill Thor, but not once succeeded, not because he couldn't but because HE DOESN'T WANT TO. He could've just stab Thor at the chest or the head with a sword but he never did, instead he just stab him on the stomach or the side using a small dagger. Thor is a god, and he will survive a stab like that and Loki knows it. He could easily kill Thor if he wants to, but he didn't, he even took his place to die in the hands of Thanos as he could not bear watching Thor suffer anymore. And I appreciate him even more for that.
He might be a villain to the world, but to Thor... Loki is his personal Hero Through out his time in the MCU, he saved Thor's life four times. Each time willing to risk his own. Their march to jotunhelm, once in dark world, once in Ragnarok, then finally Thanos. Each time knowing that he don't actually have to. He could very well get himself out and leave Thor to die. He might even benefit from it. Each time knowing that he might die. But he did it anyway. *Four times.* How many times he tried to kill Thor? *Actually* tried? I can only find one. That time he sent the destroyer to Earth. Even then, he could have the destroyer blast Thor's head off quite easily. But no, Just slap him in the face...
Now on the other hand... What did Thor did for Loki? When did we see Thor protected or even actually helped Loki? Is there like... even once? Thor seem pretty cool with getting help from Loki tho. Almost expecting it...
Thor is a great hero saving the world. I have great respect for him at that. But I don't like him. Just...He kinda failed Loki. Yes he loved Loki deeply, but he's not there enough. You could say that he's always too busy saving the world... That he sometimes missed out on saving his brother's world.

Both were always there for each other and showed their love and helped each other in a different manner, as they were Gods ,their way of expression was different, it takes time to understand what they actually mean

Loki changes in every movie he's in, and not the illogical type of change. He was an insecure brat in Thor 1, lost and broken and wanting to be Thor's equal. In Avengers, he was lost as well, manipulated by Thanos. Thanos took advantage of his brokenness and rage and basically controlled Loki. In Thor 2, he was sad, wanting to avenge his mother's death, probably feeling guilty as he thought he was the reason she died, but definitely feeling guilty for saying she was not his mother. He did it for his mother, back then. In Thor 3, at the very end, he helped Thor and finally became so much more than just the God of Mischief. He had no self identity, but it was a good thing he finally realised who he was at the end. as he said it himself moments before his death: he is Loki, Prince of Asgard, rightful king of Jotunheim, *_Odinson_* , God of Mischief. He might not be the king, he might not be equal to Thor, he might be the God of Mischief, but that's okay because he is so much more than that, he is great in his own way and just because he's not Thor's equal doesn't mean he's not great. most importantly, he is Thor's brother, and he died protecting his brother. No matter how much he wanted to cut off ties with Thor. Thor had always considered Loki his brother, not caring about the blood they do not share, but I'm glad Loki's actions were like proof that he cared for Thor all along. He always was searching for a place where he belonged, too. He wasn't born Asgardian, but he wasn't raised a Jotun, he was always chasing after Thor, not quite understanding why he never seems to catch up. However, in the elevator scene in Ragnarok, when Thor said to him that he thought the world of Loki, it was proof that Thor never looked down on Loki at all, that Thor always thought of Loki as an equal. It took Loki a long time, but at least at his death he realised where he belonged at long last : by Thor's side, as his brother, fighting side by side, as equals. I remember him saying he doesn't have a home, and while that is true because people of both Asgard and Jotunheim wouldn't want to claim him; his home IS Thor. I'm glad he found a way back home ❤

He wasn't even evil in Avengers since it was confirmed that he was being controlled by the mind stone in his sceptre, which, besides that it controlled people's minds, also fueled Loki's anger for Thor and Odin and controlled him.

Loki looked like he knew what he was doing, and when he told Thor that "the sun would shine on us again" he looked like he knew he was going to die. I think he has a plan, and it would be so cool to see Loki leading the armies of Valhalla against the immense force of Thanos' remaining army.

yeah and the way he tried to trick thanos....that was weak for him. he knew the guy, so surely he had a real plan.heck, he's got powers we still have yet to see. everyone else is getting stronger...surely he is due to power up too. I always thought they were holding back on his character a little. I wasn't sure if it was because they wanted to focus more in the heroes or what. I have never ever seen a character with such a background and so complicated and misunderstood, before I knew him I always go the concept of " If it's a villian, hate them". But after I got deeper into Loki's personality, his story, life and family, why did he case so much trouble, I understood and since then he has been one of my top 5 favorite HEROES. I see Loki as a hero, and nobody can change that. This video is awesoem, LOVE IT.

The hope and emotion in loki's eyes when he said "I could have done it! For you!" To Odin was literally just shattered when Odin was like "No, Loki." That was truly one of the most emotional moments I have ever had and...well...Odin is a bad friggen parent.

Im crying. Remeber me of when my brother died in a car crash. And when he crashed (i was in the car) he flew out the front window and the first thing i saw was blood all over the car seats and me. So i tried to Open the door but ut was stuck. When i was going to check if my brother was okay, he wasn't there. I, saw the hole in the front window and crawled out that way. You know what is for me like most hearthbreaking? That scene when Thor is standing near the cell when loki is sitting by the Wall and Thor Said something like "I hoped that my Brother were still in There somewhere, that Hope no longer exist so now I'm not supposed to protect you" and now imagine in your head that scene when loki is dead and Thor is crying on his shoulder. It's been months. I still cry and mourn over his death, the most emotion I ever offer to anyone and he is only but a fictional being. It is unreal and hurtful to think that Tom won't be in anymore Marvel films as Loki. Loki's character still had so much potential in it. Loki's story will always be unfinished. He was finally Thor's equal; the only thing he ever wanted. They fought together one last time, hope together. I still bawl my eyes out freely whenever I watch it again. This is the best sibling team ever! They have so much depth/ Loki has so many layers that were unraveled and eventually he lost all ego in the end to save everyone mainly his brother knowing the heavy consequences. Thor grew in personality as well showing more cheeky humor in Ragnarok, and getting a back bone towards his bro. But in the end, it wasn't any women that stole his heart, it was already taken.. for his brother. They are one of, if not the only the only Marvel teams in a movie that always found their way back home. They grew in each movie and they seemed to always resonate a certain level of respect for each other. The sand box game. Throwing sand on eachother....then making up. Truly the best duo!!!

Their love for each other is so pure. Thor loved to express it. Yet Loki kept it deep down. Even he never really wanted Thor to die. All those attempts to kill him were in vain cause he never really wanted to kill his brother. He loved him. They loved each other. It kills me to think that they separated and Loki died. Though he is alive in a different timeline. If there is even the slightest possibility I want Loki to come back to our Thor. I want a happy ending for them.
As much as I liked him, I really think Thanos meant it when he said, "No resurrections this time." His Avengers 4 casting has to be either a flashback or Thor communicating with his spirit.
I've heard speculation that the six original Avengers will end up sacrificing themselves to destroy the Infinity Stones in Avengers 4. If that's the case, I think the best way to bring Loki "back" would be for Thor to die, wake up in that same field in Norway from Ragnarok, and find Loki waiting there to guide him the rest of the way to Valhalla. They could even comment on how sunny it is as they're walking away together, just to show that Loki was right when he said the sun would shine on them again.

So sad T^T great video! but I'm pretty sure Loki's got a plan ;) Just think about that (beautiful) strange certainty when he promises Thor in a cryptic way that the sun will shine on them again: he's the god of mischief, he met Thanos before and he knew that the titan would be after the gems so - well, Loki's clever and cunning - he must have some secret plan. Also, when he was impersonating Odin he chose to give away the Aether in order to keep the Tesseract in Asgard: why, when the Reality gem is more useful than the space one? My personal take is that Loki's plan needed the space gem in particular, and because of this he took the tesseract in Ragnarok.

We have flashback scenes in Avengers 4 so what if Loki meets Strange even before it all began that is before Avengers 1 and tells Loki he gotta do certain things like agreeing with Thanos to bring the tesseract and what not to work it all out and Loki had to act dead to trigger Thor into his full potential so he would go after Thanos with revenge in his heart. So what if Loki was the hero the entire time but pretended to be a villain cuz Strange asked him to?

I've seen a few tearjerking Infinity War videos now, but this is the one that got me. Watching this, it really hit me. Thor always wanted Loki to be his brother, not his enemy. He always fought for that, always hoped for that and always wanted that. Then, after all that conflict, he finally got his brother back. And then he had to watch him die. Great video. The only thing that was missing was that line from The Dark World: "I wish I could trust you." One of my favourite lines.

What makes Loki’s death more tragic is Thor’s reaction. Heimdall also was killed, but Thor went to Loki and mourned. Loki was Thor’s brother and friend and was heartbreaking to see him being killed in front of Thor’s eyes.

Loki developing a better plan to kill Thanos would have mean more screen time for him, which was apparently what Marvel didn't want. As I read before, the Avengers need some spotlight too and, with Loki in scene, that's impossible.
I agree, especially when he turned to Thor in that moment with a look on his face and a smile like he said It'll be ok. It's a weird moment. It should be a sorrow look , kind of saying good bye, because he knew it was suicide mission and yet, there's non.That gives me hope.

He wasn't born Asgardian, but he wasn't raised a Jotun, he was always chasing after Thor, not quite understanding why he never seems to catch up. However, in the elevator scene in Ragnarok, when Thor said to him that he thought the world of Loki, it was proof that Thor never looked down on Loki at all, that Thor always thought of Loki as an equal. It took Loki a long time, but at least at his death he realised where he belonged at long last : by Thor's side, as his brother, fighting side by side, as equals.
I remember him saying he doesn't have a home, and while that is true because people of both Asgard and Jotunheim wouldn't want to claim him; his home IS Thor. I'm glad he found a way back home ❤

This is the best sibling team ever! They have so much depth/ Loki has so many layers that were unraveled and eventually he lost all ego in the end to save everyone mainly his brother knowing the heavy consequences. Thor grew in personality as well showing more cheeky humor in Ragnarok, and getting a back bone towards his bro. But in the end, it wasn't any women that stole his heart, it was already taken.. for his brother. They are one of, if not the only the only Marvel teams in a movie that always found their way back home. They grew in each movie and they seemed to always resonate a certain level of respect for each other. The sand box game. Throwing sand on eachother....then making up. Truly the best duo!!!

I've heard speculation that the six original Avengers will end up sacrificing themselves to destroy the Infinity Stones in Avengers 4. If that's the case, I think the best way to bring Loki "back" would be for Thor to die, wake up in that same field in Norway from Ragnarok, and find Loki waiting there to guide him the rest of the way to Valhalla. They could even comment on how sunny it is as they're walking away together, just to show that Loki was right when he said the sun would shine on them again.

Also, when he was impersonating Odin he chose to give away the Aether in order to keep the Tesseract in Asgard: why, when the Reality gem is more useful than the space one? My personal take is that Loki's plan needed the space gem in particular, and because of this he took the tesseract in Ragnarok.

I've seen a few tearjerking Infinity War videos now, but this is the one that got me.
Watching this, it really hit me. Thor always wanted Loki to be his brother, not his enemy. He always fought for that, always hoped for that and always wanted that. Then, after all that conflict, he finally got his brother back. And then he had to watch him die.
Great video. The only thing that was missing was that line from The Dark World: "I wish I could trust you." One of my favourite lines.

What makes Loki’s death more tragic is Thor’s reaction. Heimdall also was killed, but Thor went to Loki and mourned. Loki was Thor’s brother and friend and was heartbreaking to see him being killed in front of Thor’s eyes.
I think that Thor and Loki is the most emotional and developed relationship in history

i don't understand why loki tried to kill thanos after he gave him the stone , he could made his attempt before that, he would have a better chance i don't know it is just there is something that doesn't make sense in that scene
And he knew he couldn't kill him with this kind of weapon, I don't believe Loki would have been that stupid, I'm sure it's part of a plan
well he gave up the stone to save Thor, and Thanos honored that, although I agree. Just straight up trying to kill Thanos wasn't a very Loki move
Loki developing a better plan to kill Thanos would have mean more screen time for him, which was apparently what Marvel didn't want. As I read before, the Avengers need some spotlight too and, with Loki in scene, that's impossible.
I agree, especially when he turned to Thor in that moment with a look on his face and a smile like he said It'll be ok. It's a weird moment. It should be a sorrow look , kind of saying good bye, because he knew it was suicide mission and yet, there's non.That gives me hope.
