Boot preference HP ka BIOS aaj kal apne aap kr leta h but agar nhi kiya toh baad mein krna hota h. Aur aap ye app definitely uninstall kr skte hain baad mein.
Bhai, many thanks for the informative video. I have the same system and followed SSD installation and minitool migration step by step. But for me the OS continues to load from HDD and BIOS boot manager does not detect the SSD for loading OS. It only shows the HDD. The SSD does show up in my PC folder, so I think SSD hardware is not a problem. Can you suggest a solution for this issue ? I have installed Kingston 250GB A2000 M.2 SSD. Thanks.

For a smooth gaming experience, a dedicated graphics card is a must. I don't think the Asus laptops you mentioned have a dedicated graphics card.
In my opinion spending those extra 5k will give an overall better performing machine.
P.S.: Do keep in mind that at least 16GB RAM is need for gaming at decent FPS (especially for games like GTA V)
Sir instead of migrate can u show how to install in ssd with losing files of hdd. Coz I heard cloning/migrating will give only 80 percent performance of ssd.

Question - Instead of migrating os to the SSD, After the first initial boot and setup, can we install a fresh version of Windows 10 on the SSD, then copy the Windows key that comes pr-installed on the laptop to the windows installed on the SSD and format the HDD?

Sure. You can do that. Just make sure you enter the correct key. Otherwise you'll lose the original Windows.
When I opened the cover, there was a black film covering the RAM and SSD slots. Will it void any warranty if I remove the film? Also how do you remove it carefully?
I think it will void the warranty. You'll need to check the warranty details for your laptop.
Use a hair dryer (carefully) to loosen the adhesive.
Should I buy and make a bootable pendrive before performing all these process (for safety)?
It isn't necessary but you can, just in case something goes wrong.

There's a little bleeding issue. But technically speaking, IPS panels have an inherent problem of screen bleed.
Even if you get a replacement, you will experience a little screen bleed.

Theoretically, formatting and installing a fresh copy of OS is better than migration. However, I migrated the OS and found no performance difference.
Note that many users have complained about performance issues.

Yeah. It's basically the same for almost every laptop. It's just a difference of the slot position. The same procedure can be done for migrating Windows.

You can try the same process and install Windows 10 first and then upgrade it to Windows 11.

It will automatically choose the boot device (if it is an HP Pavilion Series laptop). You just need to format the Windows drive on you HDD (old).

Yes. If you have successfully cloned the Windows to the SSD, then it'll be safe to format the Windows drive on HDD.

You should format the C: drive on your HDD after booting on SSD.

The main reason why this laptop runs slow is because of the HDD speed. Upgrading to an SSD is a good decision.

I have this model and as there are only 2 USB ports, I feel ki ek USB hub lena chahiye taaki mai pendrives bhi connect kar saku. is laptop ke liye Type A wala hub loon ya fir type c wala bhi work karega? Iska type c port to bina kaam ka lagta hai. Soch raha hoon Type C wala lene ka but UA-cam par kisi ne bhi nahi bataya ki kya compatible hai na nahi . Waiting for your reply sir

Brother having battery problem..... Once there was charging problem. After one month of buying(8 August 2020) i.e. it took 10-12 hours for charging after taken to service centre problem solved...... But in January 1 2021 it again got drain problem i.e. it is getting drain at fast pace..... What to do...???? Does it require change of model or what...???
Prima-facie, it looks like a manufacturer defect. You'll have to get it checked at a service centre.
Does the antivirus will affect this process or not?
Ideally, it should not. However, if it does, then turn-off the anti virus.

Both of them are compatible. Just make sure that the port on the SSD is the correct one.

While migrating, if you choose to only migrate the OS, then the rest of the files on the SSD would not be transferred. However, if you choose to migrate the whole partition (usually C: drive), then your downloads and other folders in the Windows partition would be moved to the SSD.

Yes, putting a screen protector will definitely increase the glare. Try to get a matte screen protector, if you find one.

Once you boot from SSD. Then go to Mini Tools Partition Wizard and select Windows Drive on the HDD and format it.

You'll have to get an 8GB SODIMM RAM. You'll find the link of a compatible RAM in the video description.

I did not initialise the SSD and it worked just fine. I used the WD SN500 SSD.

Yeah.. the apps on the SSD will load faster than the apps on HDD. So, if you use any app frequently and want it to load faster, then I would suggest you transfer it to the SSD.

OS migration will save space since only the OS files will be transferred. However, if you want all the apps from your Windows drive then you should clone the whole Windows drive to the SSD.

It automatically does it, however, you'll have to format the Windows drive from the HDD. Please make a back-up before formatting.

No, you don't have to format both drives.. just the drive that has Windows.
After you format, BIOS will pick the system image from SSD.

AMD CPUs are very reliable. They're good at multitasking. Going with Intel or AMD totally depends on person to person. I personally like AMD CPUs.

Mine came with a Samsung EVO 8GB DDR 4 RAM module. But, I beleive it depends on the manufactured lot since some viewers reported other brand's RAMs.

I did not find any performance issues but some people have reported it. So, you can install a fresh copy.

Just download an installable version and install it. It should automatically take the key (make sure you are installing the same version of windows) and if not then you can find the key on the box of your laptop.

Yeah, you can use it but the 2666mhz RAM will run at 2400mhz only because of processor limitation.

You can extend the RAM in this laptop. I'm not sure whether it has an M.2 expansion slot but you can replace the HDD with a 2.5 inch SSD.

You can use Photoshop with it. The main issue is that the usable RAM, out of the box, is just 5.1GB which is less for most of the uses.

If you don't put the OS on SSD then all its functions (e.g. start-up, etc.) will work slow. Only if you access something from the SSD, it'll work relatively fast.
It is recommended that you put the OS on SSD for a much better overall experience.

without migration because when we migrate the os into ssd we can't use 100 performance of our ssd.
Well, not getting 100% performance after migrating the OS is just false. However, if you want to install a fresh copy of windows, you can do so. Check on your laptop's box. Mine had a sticker with original windows key. Just type the same key when activating windows.

BIOS automatically selects the boot device. You'll have to format the Windows drive in the HDD from the MiniTools Partition Wizard.

@@amitkalla9342 did a temporary thing to boot via bios everytime I start the laptop n it boots through SSD, finding a solution though. Otherwise I have to factory reset n then clone it.

As a matter of fact, after cloning the Windows to SSD, you will have to format the Windows drive on the HDD.

Yeah. SSD won't show in the boot menu and you'll not be able to set the boot priority. Once you format the Windows drive on the HDD, then it'll automatically load the Windows image from the SSD.
