But what do you say to your family? If you spend 1000 bucks on that getup for your career? Mine would be so angry and demands gifts all the time and that i do spend money on certain thinks they want me to have, like fake nails. This would stress me out. Using my laptop on the kitchen floor without a mick is much better.
@@cinemaatrium3863 It's your money, spend it however you want. Would you pressure a family member or friend to spend their hard-earned cash on extras they don't care about instead of the things they actually want? No? Then who cares. It's nice to help out family, and depending on a person's values it may more or less be a responsibility. However, even if a person holds this value, it usually goes towards helping them out with basic needs, not gifts. A gift should be given out of desire from the gifter. And asking you to spend your money on things *for yourself* in a specific way is so absurd that I can't grasp how people have the audacity to do this.
You have such a beautiful voice and you speak with a soothing tone too. eventhough I've watched this video a couple of times I just can't stop watching and listening to you.
Hahaha good one. Well, a lot of firms don’t give a lot of very important stuff including many not paying for relocation, lease breakage, air tickets etc. That’s not a very good reflection on many corporates. They make a lot of profits and they shouldn’t do rationing like this. Having seen this sad part, I suggest don’t have very high expectations. Now, I want to refrain from generalizing this about all companies because I know many good tech cos do pay for relocation, lease breakage, 2 weeks accommodation, air tickets for employee and family etc but many big companies don’t. And, that’s really sad. Now, things like a good mic or other essential equipment are needed to set up home office and they may not be provided by many companies and I truly get that it sucks, but I also believe that comfort is the key while working especially from home and hence it may be a good idea to invest once in these equipment so that there is comfort and that way, entire focus be on work. Ergonomics do help. Broadly, I agree if you’re hired for a remote position, the company should provide the necessary equipment to setup a home office and once you leave, they should take it back.
@@Sachinkumar_foodtraveltech I work from home a lot (Europe), but people would be shocked to see how I work, I'm almost never at my desk or in a proper chair. Often lying in bed, laptop, on my...lap!
Great setup! Looks super cozy, very hard to beat a nice wooden desk. Personally I prefer having two setups, helps me separate work and 'play/entertainment/chill'. Thanks for showcasing!
Love the sailor moon background and as someone who also works from home 100% agree w this. You have to make your office comfortable or you find yourself getting up every 5 minutes or at the end of the day w neck/shoulder and back pain.
As someone who also works in tech from home, I felt this sooooo hard. My office is the best looking room in the house. I have a toddler so when I leave the office I step out into disaster 🤣 the office is the one room she's not allowed in (it's not safe. There's no feasible way to make it safe. I don't lock her out to be mean or cut her off from part of her home) but yeah. Anyway. Absolutely relatable
I'm in tech now but I left teaching to do it. Since leaving teaching I REFUSE to spend my money on work stuff - if my bosses want me to have decent audio they will buy me a good mic, as is I have the basic (~$30) headset the company bought in bulk at the start of the pandemic.
I left teaching for tech too, and I feel this 100%. The only exceptions for me are if I have crossover things that I use for my personal dev time on my PC that I also happen to use at work (keyboard, mouse, etc). I usually just use my personal ones since I like the feel of my keyboard and I hook up my debugging hotkeys to my gaming mouse so I can step through code without having to remove my hand from the mouse.
Dear Chloe, that UAD audio interface is also the industry standard for recording studio-quality vocals like Adele and Alicia Keys, so I hope you’re dropping a album for us soon 😇
oh man i didn't want to mention that - it's mostly for vocal recordings and covers!! sometimes for singing on stream too - def not for every day work meetings. for work, i started off with the blue yeti condenser mic! BUT YES I'D LOVE TO DROP AN ALBUM T_T
Honestly even a dedicated cheap USB mic would sound miles better than any Webcam mic lol. You can get some really good ones like the razer siren mini for around $50 or less haha
i love your confidence and the way you speak, def trying to build a similar charisma before I start out in tech (coz I found myself struggling with management and communication during internships)
I'm 15 at the moment but I'll improve both my setups So for the one I have at home, I'll get 3 screens(one for code, one for background tasks and the other one for important stuff yk) A CPU? Not something from Intel, rather a server CPU(costs around 500 bucks), I don't really care about a GPU but I'll take a high end like the 4060ti For my other setup - that's an "anywhere" setup. It's just a laptop😂 I'll switch my current one to the Dell XPS 15 Programming craziness 😅😂
Too girlie for a hulking great lump like myself but I like the simplicity. I can recommend the Fiio FT1 headphones if you need closed cans with decent sound quality (ie better than any wireless cans) without that pay rise you are clearly angling for ;)
Can you show us your audio set up like in detail. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to set up my audio (I probably could if I put in some effort 😔)
oh my audio setup is actually for singing and vocal recordings - not for everyday use for work meetings. i don't recommend this setup - it's a bit too complicated :< but getting a simple condenser mic (like the blue yeti) was how i started out! when you start bringing mics with XLR cables, it gets a bit messy!
Such a great set up! Mine’s super similar except swapped teak and bamboo wood finishes - throw in some fiddle leaf figs, sansevieras, cat tail palms and pachiras! I just set up a humidifier and trailed my pothos’s up the walls and I promise you won’t regret it. The room will look so alive and the oxygen in there will be noticeably better - you have great light dispersing throughout to really support great plant life that’ll make your place look *cherry on top*

hi I have used mac for the longest time, but recently got a regular desktop pc, I love the sailor moon wall paper, can you tell me where to get it/download?, please, are there any extra apps or steps to install, like, is it hard to install? I have seen some like that but issa whole process XD
Very curious what webcam you use! I'm fully remote and like to work off my 34" monitor but have yet to find a good affordable webcam with good quality video and audio. I would love your suggestion. 😊
