I remember a certain visceral feeling after Chris and I bought our first house together. It felt like something loosened inside my body right below my rib cage as if I had been previously harboring tension inside. It was a good feeling.
Yeah, it was similar for us, even tho the process was so long, frustrating and complicated that it took a while to set in. It is such a blessing 🥰

Your video was in my recommendations today and I'm glad it was! I've often wondered about the Azores and what it was like to live there and I find your videos very fascinating. Congratulations on the new house! I was wondering about the cows why are they chained up? If there's a fence around them they won't go through it usually..lol I used to work on a farm and know a few things about cows. Maureen in Massachusetts
Thank you & welcome to my channel! :) The cows are not chained up, they sometimes have a loose rope to keep them from running away in an open area which this was, or to make sure they eat a specific spot on the land. Whenever cows are in places that it is harder for them to escape they do not have a rope. Whenever they do have a rope, the owner comes at least twice a day to check on them and change their locations.

Wow- that nicho ! it exists here as well it’s a catholic house altar ! What are the inner walls made of ? I like the idea of taking walls out ; that makes a huge difference ! i like some of the furniture too . What is the sq footage / meters?

I will not say much about finances, as I do not feel comfortable sharing this very private information publicly, but I can say that we did not pay cash.
You can rent houses like this, but you need to know people to do it and ask around. Renting places is a very hard thing to do here because most houses are either family homes, tourist places or up for sale. But if you ask around long enough you'll find something!
