Well, in this context I think work in this way: KSPD is more like Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland), because de Valkyrie stuff SRT is Finland, because Miyako (Suomi KP/-31), Miyu (Finnish Mosin-Nagant M38 Carbine) and Saki (Lathi Saloranta LS/26) weapons are of Finnish origin. And since Finland is part of Scandinavia, SRT can be part of KSPD
@@thEProphet1491 SRT can not be associated with any country, since it's clearly a school that trains special forces and revolves around that. RABBITs are modeled after finnish specops, while FOXes are modeled after american specops

I like how you give national anthem to most of the academies that was inspired by their respective countries, but then you give Hyakkiyako (Japan) a Hatsune Miku song. Miku is such a national treasure Personal opinion: i don't think millennium is inspired by America. Idk why but when i think of a futuristic country, i don't think of America. Japan fits that criteria more
Cyberpunk isn't a real world location and the school is lacking in the "punk" aspect. It's more fitting to say they are like the ideals of silicon valley.
I can see why some people are confused about Millenium being represented by America as it could represent any country visually and with the prominent theme being "technology" that only broadens the possible choices, but allow me to present an argument defending the video's creator and explain the possible reasoning for the decision. 1. The student's firearms. Many of the students use either American made or firearms serviced in the US military. There might be some exceptions, (Aris in particular) but for many of the students they seem to carry American firearms. Yuuka and Noa being the premier figureheads for Millenium both use American made guns. Noa in particular uses the STI Apeiro 2011 according to the wiki. STI, now known as Staccato, is "based in the heart of Texas" according to the manufacturer's website. Doesn't get more American than that. 2. Budget competition. I'm sure more countries than America do this, but I'm only stating this from my perspective on how America tends to work when it comes to funding products, particularly when it comes to military application. The US armed forces will often put out monetary prizes for manufacturers to compete for. Weapon manufacturers appeal their product and the best product get the funding to produce the weapon for the military. I can't speak for other countries and how they conduct weapon development but I'm sure there's other nations that have a similar competition oriented process. 3. The story. Now I'm not going to say the writers sat down and said, "What encapsulates the American spirit the most?" Maybe some American elements to it, but not exclusively. What I will say is that a small indie studio that had struggled for a long time, making a game that succeeded, then finally making it big is the "American dream". Effort and merit is rewarded. Working hard for your happiness and joy is very much the ideal of the American dream. Again, I don't think the devs explicitly chose that idea as the main meat and potatoes of the story, but those elements do contribute to the perception of Millenium being a fictional representative of the USA and it's ideals.
What’s left of Abydos looks like an average Japanese school from the 2000’s tbh. I don’t think Millennium has any national inspiration but they do seem to be based on STEM in general which originated in the US so that makes sense. Technically SRT’s Fox Platoon is based on US Special Forces but we can’t play as them yet. ;-; Also Arius is technically part of Trinity so they’re like… evil England? Visigoths I guess if you really want to get nerdy with history lol
In fact, only the FOX Team took the American Special Forces reference, while the RABBIT Team took the Finnish Special Forces reference, so the SRT Special Academy did not take any national references and if it did take them it could be considered NATO or UN. Then Millennium, they took inspiration from many countries such as America, Germany and Japan because they really value achievement, whether it's discoveries and so on. For Abydoss, the area and its naming actually take Egyptian references. The name of the Hoshino shield is also based on Egyptian mythology, so it is safe to say that Abydoss is a mixture of Japanese (Character names, building architecture, culture) and Egyptian (Area conditions, naming of places and equipment/objects).
A potential indicator for the region of inspiration for certain schools can be seen in the firearms. Many of the Millenium students use either American made firearms or weapons that were serviced in the military at some point. The way in which the schools conduct themselves is also reminiscent of how the real world counterparts are either perceived or how they functioned historically, Red Winter being an extremely exaggerated parody of the Soviet regime. It's difficult to pin one specific inspiration for Millenium since technology is really broad and widespread in the modern day, but if we go off of how the school conducts itself putting merit in performance and promoting competition by backing successful projects can be compared to how the US will set monetary prizes and let manufacturers duke it out to try and compete to produce the best firearm or aircraft possible.
Not sure bout Arius, but definitely not Ireland, cause they are already represented as afterschool sweets club in Trinity, with celtic motive. France is not quite wrong, considering the Albigensian crusade.

Arius more like North Ireland
I'd say Shanhaijing Senior Secondary school is a parody of Republic of China, rather than People's republic of China.
