- This is Phase 1 of the Arknights ARG that is currently ongoing with the CN community. This took a while to make due to cross-referencing and confirming information to make sure I give accurate information.

BTW, the word “NEW BRANCH” in Clue No.3 is the name of the new skin of Muelsyse. If you go back and check out the 5anniv pv, when the skin shows out, there are the letters of Sarkaz and braille at the top-right corner. Transfer them to Caesar cipher, we will get “BU Tauri”, which is an another name of Pleione.

Just a small follow up,
They found that new branch stands for Muelsyse's skin in the 5th anni event pv
On the upper right there's a code made up of sarkaz words and braille, after decoding they got the name BU Tauri, which is another name for Pleione
In Greek mythology Pleione is the name for an Oceanic nymph, hence Muelsyse as she is a water elf

Oracle is also mentioned in the Babel event story, which is confirmed to be another name for doctor

Considering theres soo many stars references on this, it makes soo much sense why the starset music they used for the PV4 named as Telescope.
So after watching this video and a lil bit of cooking, here's copypaste of one of my essays on this topic and the connection with the ARG.
Originium Analysis and Review of Doctor Projects
- warning, a little long. But worth the read, i guarantee that. And i drink include the possible connection with Cicada 3301
I'll probably divide this into parts to keep the readers focused and understand the context. (And so i can too)
Let's begin with the two images from CN of the first picture
“Souls do not actually "exist" to Sarkaz. Only a very small number of individuals are able to recognize them on an experiential level. Souls do not exist in the physical world, but in some deep sense of their species, independent of the collective unconscious. Before a Sarkaz was born, he was immersed in the fountain of emotions gathered by thousands of ancestors. We all swim there, and we feel the souls before forming our own consciousness. When a Sarkaz is born, it is the moment when he leaves the embrace of the souls; and after Sarkaz dies, he will be completely integrated into the souls. From this perspective, the souls are the collective destiny of Sarkaz. In the past, souls were also symbols of Sarkaz's obscure and uncertain destiny. They do not share the same resonance as Sankta. The souls that Sarkaz felt were vast wills that far exceeded the limitations of individuals and time.
The souls themselves are huge and disorderly streams of violent information. In the internalized universe, they are like an amber wrapped in life and consciousness, thrown into the burning flame, and hidden inside is Theresa. She knew that the souls would be gradually dismantled by the internalized order of the universe, and then reorganized into an orderly and smooth flow of information. This is exactly Theresa's purpose, the souls will be completely liberated, and the new generation of Sarkaz will be liberated from the feeling of endless pain and torture. For the future Sarkaz, the souls will only exist in legends and stories, and the "fate" that binds all Sarkaz will no longer exist. She took advantage of this time difference to rewrite some of the laws of the internalized universe before she and the souls completely dissipated, and these modified parts will respond in the real universe----
Sarkaz would have an Originium that was not under the control of its designer.”

Now let's move on to Originium Internal Universe -
"Internalized Universe" - that's what I call it for now. Kal'tist mentioned more than once that the internalized universe is the embodiment of the "information" stored in the Source Stone. (Originium)
The word "information" has many meanings. It can be a carrier that describes the existence and action status of objects, or it can be a razor in a logical chain that reduces the unknown of all things, or it can be a scaffold and bridge that connects things so that changes can be recognized. But I was a little touched and shocked by Kal'tist's use of this word - I have only seen this usage in one theory.
In my research on Origin Stones, or in my past research on Origin Stones, "information" refers to a huge concept that includes all matter, energy and their change processes. It is a grand ether that encompasses all our known and unknown elements, even beyond cause and effect. The source stone is the medium used to collect information. It can re-edit the information and then continue to grow until it completes its mission-that is, collecting all the selected information.
All information in the source stone should be in a neatly arranged state and no longer change. Even if they can be extracted as energy, it is a manifestation of information being re-edited and returned to the real world. Inside the Source Stone, everything should be stagnant.

What Does This Mean?
Now to understand, we have to use the Lumberjack analogy from the tape translations of the ARG
“Imagine an imperfect forest, where insects and flying birds are uncommon, and there are no hunting beasts wandering through it. Sometimes, two seedlings, hardly different from each other, end up with different fates: one dies young while the other grows a lush canopy; sometimes some trees cast malicious shadows that cause their neighbors to wither in the shade. These are not terrible things, after all, they are just trees. But in this forest lives a lumberjack, who diligently swings his axe, felling trees regardless of whether their branches are thriving, their fruit is sweet, or what color their leaves are in the sunlight. No tree knows the origin of this lumberjack, the ancient trees have long been silent, and no tree can stop the lumberjack from swinging his axe, even the most intricately entwined branches are split apart.
Do you believe it? There really is such a forest, such a lumberjack. Good, let’s continue. One day, as usual, the lumberjack raised his axe, and another tree fell before him. The clearing made by the lumberjack once again grew full of trees, and more than that, the clear resin engulfed this forest, which exists only in stories, and soon all you see before you is a beautiful piece of amber. There are no trees swaying with the wind, no axe of the lumberjack, nor any fibers of division, function, or philosophy growing in the moist soil. The Analogy Meaning
The Forest = Civilizations
The Lumberjack = The Observers/ Collapsals / 'Master of All Existence'; the embodiment of nothingness and chaos
The Resin = Originium
No Axe of The Lumberjack = The re-created universe based on the stored, stagnant information inside the Originium; therefore, he lost the ability to harvest Civilizations as they do not belong to existence itself; as Trevor Friston himself says Originum is "another form of existence"
And to add upon the first two explanations of Originium and Civilight Eterna,
Originum = it means 'unification'; collects, stores and modified information in a stagnant space beyond reality, in pure spirituality and realm of information.
Also called the "Empire of Consciousness", similar in framework to the Ocean of Solaris; the Vector of Collapse where everything exists within disorder.
Civilight Eterna = records memories, history and information and emotions and contains Souls of the King of Sarkaz and Sarkaz themselves, a metaphysical tool to continue civilization, it is similar to Originium. The Sarkaz part is based on its connection with Originum and the oldest witchcraft ritual done by the Farchaser by offering his blood and soul.
Thus, they complete each other.
I'll add upon it Caerula Arbor, Celestial Falcrum and Preservator later.

Why Is It Originium and Other Forms of Existence?
Although Friston mentioned it is one answer out of many, it's mainly because The Collapsals and "The Creator" eat away at reality; they eat every emotions as shown in Zwillingstürme im Herbst ZT-10, and they eat everything that exists, except protected information existences, like the Lich Sarkaz origin and Witch King existence in the Pocket Dimension. As they separate themselves in an isolated singularity while being information and the strongest souls and wills. As shown in ZT-10, again, that what remains of in the Chaos is the strongest of emotions and desires.
(Which is why the 'debate' function of Lynchpin may be needed for reasons other than completing duty)
And to look back from Zwillingstürme im Herbst story lore, the Vector of Collapse, the realm of Collapsals; the other side of the "real" the realm in eternal flux and pure chaos where all laws and logic crumble except information. Or... The Ocean of Solaris.
Also called the realm of all truths as it is a realm of pure information.
And that is the source behind the collapsals power as information hazards - they eat emotions, information and get strengthened by them.
Originum, however defies the Chaos and remains stagnant and is the recorded to all of humanity's greatness.
However, it underwent some changes by Priestess's mad experiments.
And that's where we get the tape translation of Oracle's recording, and a puzzle which solved to be a sentence: “警惕你自己，源石目标已更改，相信AMa-10
[Translation: Be vigilant of yourself, the Originium purpose has been changed, trust Ama-10 (Kal'tsit)]”
Friston in Lone Trail mentions that living species and Originum cannot co-exist peacefully, as seen by the torture of Oripathy and Myriad Souls.
And from Chapter 14 spoilers, it is mentioned that the Farchaser gave his blood and soul to Ananna; thereby forming the *Sarkaz* Myriad Souls, as he is the first King of Sarkaz and first evolved humanoid Sarkaz.
It is unknown what changes it underwent besides it forcibly prisoning souls instead of information, may be Priestess determination to have the universe itself contained inside Originum, not contained as information replica lile Friston. But remains unknown nonetheless.
Regardless,
Puzzle (2) of Lynchpin mentions the implications of the 'debate' function first introduced in Lone Trail as it is essentially the countermethod for memory loss and else, a tool to remain in duty for eternity.
It is probably so that Doctor stays convinced that Originium is the only survival method.
Part 2
Civilight Eterna Operator Files Implications
• It is possible to create programs of installed information of previous users
• They are pure information manifestations in the physical plane; as holograms. Friston also implies he dislikes its physical plane form of being a crown; essentially metaphysical tool.
• Without consent and relation to the crown and program, it is not possible to see the programs; invisible.
• The sub-space inside it can see the memories, feelings and everything of their wielders. Although this is known for a long time

The continent of the Shadow Moon refers to the South with the southern Stargate that was destroyed by Aslan Padishah and Nightzmora Khagan Conquest of the Foehn Hotlands alongside the southern Demons.
Celestial Falcrum is the Sankta Law, and it is mentioned Outcast was obliterated by a laserbeam in the explosion of her death. Meaning the Law is a dualistic device. As Friston says "operating on a mission it does not even understand... In the name of a God"
“The sarcophagi of the "Preservers" are still silent, and the other two "Source Stones" are also buried deep in their respective places.
Occasionally, disturbing tidal sounds can be heard from the southern ocean. .
Kelsey, you should know all the information recorded in the crown. Retrieving the same information repeatedly will not lead to new possibilities. Unfortunately, even the "survival of civilization" cannot be recorded Changes within the Source Stone.”
Besides Ananna, there are two other pure Originum pieces.
And Originum has become locked to changes and will not operate on the same goal intended by Oracle Doctor, which was to record all of mankind's greatness and achievements and the universe itself.

Could be the destruction of humanity.
Not really a viable solution if it's that fixed and 'stuck'; it largely symbolizes Adam Ruhani from Tayyibi Isma'ilism and Honkai Impact.
The Project Stigma version of Arknights.
Although there are interesting implications of Caerula Arbor and Seaborn and how they are also a hope for civilization besides them adapting to the threats.
Projects such as Decimal Expansion and else in PV-4 yet to be revealed. I think the phase 2 of the ARG will cover them.

• The ARG
The ARG all in all seems to be space-themed to match the interstellar theme and on-going colonizations and falls of stars.
I have a long theory about Ægir and its role during PV-4 especially judging Friston's comment on its potential to even rival Kristen's projects and madness.
There seems to be a little correlation with Pleione of the mythology. Especially when during the PV-4, there was shown to be sea around the area.
Also i found some stuff while researching the seven stars of the standbyherside, but I'll have to dig more about external links to the lore.
The ELCARO in the ORACLE puzzle seems to also to refer his change as a character to what Theresa essentially calls "love the world again and look for the future" (which manifested in the "Terra is Ours" and Oracle 2 seems to be the back-up plan scenario.
Drop your thoughts below, I'm interested. I lost my attention span long ago while writing this, so more ideas/corrections are appreciated

After countless of many inaccurate lore vids, rants and ragebaiting with shitty opinion videos in EN content creator space, finally a good food!
I followed the ARG Phase 1 code cracking real time and man that was... amazing. I really enjoyed this ARG the best compared to the one before this. I was a former astronomy student and know a fair deal about stars and astrophysics concepts used for the puzzle pieces, while the previous ARG from PV2 with laser chess stuff just baffled me.
Looking forward for your next video delving into Phase 2 of PV4 ARG. It's even more chilling than the Phase 1 (maybe because it involves an actual physical object and selected people irl), really show how much HG seriously cooks Arknights after half decade of this game. It really shows how ingenuity can take something to greater heights--and how devoted CN fans can be in regards to their beloved media.

@@YaBoiRenegade I didn't really solve it just following the discussion from Discord and "ooooh make sense!". The one with Siege was too obvious for me like "duh, she's a lion. Regulus obv the answer" when the hint for other was the star catalog. Algol is the second most obvious to me coz star theme and we dealing with Sarkaz = devils. I was completely lost with the Park LIfe album tho.
About Alhena, it seemed that in the beginning HG actually made a mistake by putting the blue box in wrong position so with ALHENA you didn't get the right solution but with GAMGEM for Gamma Gemini you did. Later HG fixed this and you got the same solution with ALHENA.
Funny thing is the password was actually found by bruteforcing. FUTURE's explanation in your vid was the intended way to find the answer, but how the real password was discovered is by...well, bruteforcing with all the hecking little trivias from AK and HG media lol. And they did strike lucky by reversing the date of AK Weibo's very first post, and yes that's the announcement for 2nd Beta Test.
CN side of Arknights fandom never cease to awe me, while on EN side... I mostly only facepalm myself from secondhand embarrassment from anything outside stage clear guides.
I was actually considering adding the brute forcing stuff especially with regulus being discovered through a megaman playthrough which wasnt the intended route. But I figured i'd save those for when the ARG is ending.
@@fz_dracohart1255 its because global is full of secondaries from THAT game company. They only play to fulfill their downtime or to gacha, not caring about anything. Then they'll act surprised as if they have any recollection when more lore drops.
@@mr.clevertrick8710 If it's H*y*v*rse, well... GI writing is never that good, and all the good bits of worldbuilding is hidden in the books and relic descriptions no casual players would ever read. HSR is actually pretty solid except for the shitty Xianzhou Luofu part, although it doesn't help the whole Honkai lore was just too big as it spans multigame starting with Honkai Gakuen then HI3rd.
A chunk of the first gen of EN Arknights players are from Azur Lane because of Yostar, and peeps play AL for the softcore p0rn, not the story and especially not the gameplay. The ones interested in the lore tend to come from OG GFL players, just like Haimao himself lol.
I'm just dismayed EN Arknights player is nothing much outside WHAT"S THE META??? and stereotypical pervy weeb interests to the ops. But again somehow EN players uniquely lack in critical reading skill, and Yostar's EN translation quality is so inconsistent, so not only it makes EN's interest in lore low but also making the ones interested in it running with shitty take/interpretations of the lore.

If you log in now without completing the crosswords, the tape actually plays in the website itself. I can't understand Chinese but there's some English recording voice too, most probably recordings of NASA's first mission to moon.
Edit: I tried playing it on simplified Chinese Google Translate and the only words that could captured by the machine is "Terrible sorry. Let them live! Just my last time. Heaven. ...Soon before your"
I recommend not fully trusting the translation, but is it possible the recording was by Oracle (us Doctor) themself before getting put into the Sarcophagus to hibernate all those 10,000 years ago?
The other words I could make out is a date (unfortunately I forgot the date and the month), but it's said to be "2029 9.46". So it is a recording entry from our current Earth timeline.
