Dion I agree with you Santorini gave me the heaven idea.. Is the magic of Mediterranean Sea you can feel it also in Spain and Italy... But too many refugees people died into Mediterranean.. And I can't get it any more

There is a good chance that you might meet - in person - Kurt Russell , Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson as they own a house in the island . They spend most of their summertime there . And they do that for the last ten years .

The glass tube in the gift box at 18:21 is actually for you to put some Santorini sand in it. Santorini is known for its sparkly sand- particularly its black sand. Many luxury car manufacturers, Land Rover in particular, is known for their premium color called Santorini Black. When you look at this particular paint job on their vehicles, you'll see it sparkle. They use the sand from Santorini to allow the paint to have a sparkle to it. It's quite beautiful actually and it gives the pain job a luxury look. The sand that they use is very fine.

I visited Santorini in July 2018- it is beautiful. If you visit Santorini, go to Akrotiri if you get the chance! It's an archaeological site that was buried under volcanic ash and only discovered in 1967. It's very similar to Pompeii. They're still excavating, and the tour takes you right through the site! A must see!
I have been to Santorini 3 times, Sept, Jan(raining!) and May during different years, still loving it!!! waking up by the sound of the sea breeze, heavenly!

In these days of covid everything, it's nice to watch these videos......I have been fortunate to travel to several Greek islands including Santorini.......beautiful memories and you can't truely appreciate the Greek islands unless you have been there.

My father cheated on my mom when I was 3, so we went to Germany. So I couldn't choose. Now I'm 15 and I want to go back so bad.. even if I can't, I want to visit it for at least 2 weeks as a vacation.. but you know, living in Greece is not easy

The stunning beauty of the ocean views of Santorini is unforgettable ! The hotel resorts are absolutely magnificent , for chasing a dream combining natural wonder and artificially convenience ! Living on the island is always one of my wish , to enjoy a luxury experience of the hotel facilities , as well as to explore the island through hiking and sight seeing. Having a cup of coffee and a sandwich beside the beach and shop a little souvenir in the market will make my life complete !

We stayed at the Absolute Bliss which wasn't too far from Grace Santorini. Hubby and I took the walk to Skara Rock. I saw so many people that were guests at Grace hotel and thought, why would these people pay so much money for the whole dam world to see you??? When I was at the Absolute Bliss, NOBODY saw us !!!!
PS. Santorini is my FAVE place in the world. It is HEAVEN ON EARTH. Went September 2018 and September 2019. Best time to go. Weather is OUTSTANDING and it's not CRAZY BUSY. :) Love you Santi!!!!!!

This beautiful video makes me visit Santorini again. My first hotel was located caldera side and enjoyed beautiful sunset at Fira. For the second time the hotel was airport side and I enjoyed sun rise with airplanes. Santorini is really beautiful island and one of best places to visit. Next time I will have lunch at this hotel and enjoy beautiful view. I also enjoyed two museums in Fira and Akrotiri which is berried line Pompeii by volcano eruption. Akrotiri is related to Knossos in Crete. The archeological museum near Knossos is really amazing and beautiful. I spent hours at Knossos and museum.

Rightly said it's honeymoon couple vacation. Aegean see dark blue water mesmerizing the mind. All the surroundings are picturesque. Visited and enjoyed, will always be remembered.

After the past few videos Santorini is definitely on my bucket list. Outstanding! The glass tube is likely for collecting beach artifacts, shells, sand, pebbles, etc. I have a small collection of shells from previous travels.

Pros: (1) Beautiful view of the hotel on the different views of the coast or islands (2) There is no noise to see the place because of the white color predominant on all buildings on the island & negatives frequent use of stairs to move between the different components of the hotel. And the closing thank the video owner for his beautiful work
Santorini and Mykonos have nothing special without the whitened buildings. Greece has very beautiful islands with amazing nature attractions and landscapes like Thasos, Corfu, Crete, etc.
For once someone who says the truth here. So many much more beautiful quiet traditional islands. Milos with its 72 beaches, Amorgos, Astypalaia, Serifos, Folegandros and most of them Ionian islands
The best cheapest place in Greece and so close to Athens is Evia island 🏝️!!!! North Evia is heaven on earth ( i have house there)!!! Trust me
@@dimitrakapa4887 I know Evia is nice, but it is a problem that it does not have any airport or any ferry direct to Athens. I cannot every time sit on a small chair in a bus or a car for more than ten hours to go and more than ten hours to come back. Even very small islands have airport or direct ferry to Athens. It is not good that the second big island does not have them.

Thanks for sharing this. You did a beautiful job on the camerawork. I've only been to Santorini once, on my honeymoon way back in 1981. It's a beautiful island and the people are friendly. We stayed in a B&B which was pretty basic and they even managed to give me food poisoning courtesy of a dodgy breakfast omelette. It was the one morning I changed from yogurt and honey. I'd like to take my wife back there again on a surprise anniversary trip so I'll probably book this hotel. Thanks again.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in Santorini a couple of years ago. We stayed at a boutique hotel not far away from the hotel featured in your clip. We overlooked the same rock formation that you could see here. Oh, and we actually climbed to the top of that rock just for the heck of it!
Our 6-day trip was absolutely amazing. The mom & pop shops humanized us and the simplicity of the island's local cuisine restaurants were phenomenal. The olives, the oil, the calamari, the feta cheese, the thyme, etc....
We rented a small Smart car (two-seater) by which we headed for the beaches on the southern part of the island almost every morning after breakfast (a 20-minute amazing drive).
We did not enjoy the thousands of cruise ship crowds who flooded into Fera and Oia every day but that did not spoil the days for us.
We also took a one-day private yacht cruise around the Caledra, which was an unforgettable experience.
Thank you, LTE. You really brought back the memories and the nostalgia. Planning to go again next year :)

We have been to Santorini once in 2010. Stunning views. Stayed at Nefali Homes not far from Grace.
Excellent. Great memories of Imerovigli. You mentioned Fira at the start, Firostefani is en route to Fira about 10 mins from Imerovigli. Nice little spot with plenty of lovely bars and restaurants overlooking the Caldera. Mylos Restaurant is excellent!

The glass tube would have been nice for a souvenir (perhaps some sand/rock and dried flowers from the area). Might have made a pretty keepsake. We do not get to take luxury vacations, but we did this with our children on the vacation we took to a beach. We found some glass pendants at a craft store and filled them with sand and tiny shells from our trip. It is something we all love to look at and recall the memories from the trip!
I bought some small replicas of Cicladyc art which I love,had a small vitrine made were we keep all the pieces !

2 options:
- change the frame rate till the flickering goes away.
- some editing software have a de-flicker plug in or add-on so you can remove it.

I haven't read all the other posts, but yes frame rate is one option. Another way of changing it; is the shutter angle. Most 24fps videos are shot at 1/48th or rounding it 1/50th. Respectively 180degree shutter. More professional cameras you can adjust the shutter by one degree. Sometimes 172.8 works, sometimes 90, depends on the LED, fluorescent or any other type of the light source. And it changes from 50hz ro 60hz specific countries. For example, once I had to find it manually and I had to use 143.8 degree shutter to get rid of the flicker. Sometimes you might have few different flickering sets in the same frame, see this a lot in airport terminals with many different stores and signage. So, test, test, test and good luck with your shoots.
