This guy should have more views as I have watched several of these "upgrade" videos, but he was the only one to point out the interest you pay on upgrades which is something that I always think about.

Thanks... It isn't all about selling a house. People need to make good decisions and have all of the info out there. This is about people's homes, money and future. It seems corny, but I actually believe it.

Hey Michael. I wish there was an easy answer. The cost of a pool would depend on the size of the pool, if it is heated, if it has a spa, what kind of decking surrounds the pool, and more... Many people, if not most, get an after market pool. I have seen clients get a pool for 70,000 all the way to 140,000. The ballpark cost would be 80,000 to 100,000. The cost of a pool shot up after Covid. Sometimes the higher end builders will discount a pool as an upgrade when sales are slow. I hope that helps. If you want more detail, give me a call.

There is a builder that is offering pools "standard" in all of their homes. Belterra by GHO. You can opt out of the pool but it doesn't reduce the price of the home. The GHO homes aren't cheap and start in the mid 600, 000 range.
A person I know in PGA had a small aftermarket pool and screen for 68,000.
