Freakin' awesome, now I have 3 fish on my fishing bucket list: Billfish, Tarpon and now the Mako!
Do they jump without being hooked cuz i saw one jump today when i was surfing had to do some research to confirm it was a mako and yea my first thoughts were correct it jumped about 40 meters from me and i instantly thought shit thats a mako the fastest shark in the world and paddled as hard as i could

Just one thing. I do understand fishing and eating fish. But hunting animals for sport so you can take a photo or stuff the head and hang it on your wall? Never!!!

@@evanherrera5948 Oh Evan Evan ! It's not the skill I want to acquire. I eat meat and sometime fish and understand that they need to be killed before you cook them! Just the way it is in nature. I will kill a cockroach in my kitchen but let them roam free in the street. I get no thrill from killing. I don't like pets in cages either. Well that is my heart. What can I say. I am not an activist by any means.

same thing happened to me in cabo mexico.Mako tail rapped and came up from 80 feet and was out of the water by about 12 feet.It shot up so fast from 80 ft i could not get line tight and i thought i lost the bite till finally line got tight.
