    Update round 2:
    With this trailer getting some new attention, I figured I should also bring up that I started uploading a commentated playthrough on this mod right on this channel, for anyone unable to play or wishes to see extended gameplay first.     The Grand Djinn seems crazy strong, nice. One of those things you have to earn.

      Glad the trailer depicts that well. In practice they're not insane to the point you have to grind just to stand a chance, but I recall a couple that even made me struggle through a couple attempts.
      Considering they not only have some of the strongest Djinn abilities of the mod but give stronger stat boosts than normal Djinn, they got to at least put up a bit of a sweat to justify their power imo.

      Glad you enjoyed it. Depending on how you define sequel, there a WIP I think you'll enjoy. In a way, the version 2 I'm working on feels like a sequel in of itself with reworking it from scratch to change things I couldn't in the original. Though we'll have to see what lies in store beyond that.
      In the meantime, I do weekly blogs on my site which include updates on my current progress now and then, so that may be worth checking out if you're curious what I'm up to. If social media is more your speed, I also try to keep the homepage updated with the sites I'm most active on.

      Version 1 is definitely more focused on a vanilla movepool classes. I do plan to get a bit more wild with the Psynergy in an eventually version 2/Second Mix since I want to readd dialogue into the game, and I had to build the mod from scratch in order to do so.
      That being said, one thing I don't really cover well in the trailer is that certain Psynergy evolve as you improve your classes. So as you progress through the game and get more Djinn, there may be an upgrade or two that are right up your alley that already exist in Dawn of Djinn as is.

    This looks real exciting. I've been wanting to revisit this for a long time.
    Will you have plans to do anything for TLA?
    And on a second point: how -moddable- is TLA (ie... going to old towns etc?)

      I'd love to do stuff with The Lost Age, but with how much work I still ongoing with my current projects it's too far off for me to promise anything.
      Funny enough, The Lost Age is actually easier to mod than GS1 is (at least in the sense that the currently existing editors actually function better with GS2 than 1), I was just stubborn and wanted to start from the beginning. GS1 being a smaller game was basically the only reason I started there. Basically, the current tools are good with modding things tied to the battles but are still evolving in terms of map design.
      The Golden Sun community has a forum and a fairly active Discord so those are worth checking out if you're curious to know more exactly what the current state of GS modding as a whole is.

      I almost forgot cause I tend not to think of it as a full mod, but technically I have done something with Lost Age.
      To celebrate its 20th anniversary I made a small mod that adds some of the quality of life features I did in Dawn of Djinn into Lost Age and has an optional music patch cursory of the rest of the GS hacking community.
