I am glad they haven't turned you comments off and thanks for uploading these I used to watch them with my sisters and secretly liked them.
I have another comment on here if you are interested in my opinion of the show.
The world needs shows like this to come back to show girls you don't need to be a Tomboy to be a strong woman and women have there own gentle and special kind of strength men can never hope to possess.
@@matthew-005 there are so many cool cartoons of the 80s, 90s and even 2000s. I always think of Rainbow Brite, and Jem of the 80s and 2003's Strawberry Shortcake and even Barbie with her dvd movies, for showing girls that you can be nice, sweet and defend yourself and the people you love. I wish we had this now.
@@rileypower5650 Yeah I know like I said I had two sisters She-ra and Sailormoon were a popular ones in our house too those ladies were physically strong too but they displayed there feminine traits too this is why I secretly liked them you didn't get that kind of thing from them male focused cartoons.
I feel these days women have forgotten and given up their feminine strength feeling it's not as good or important as masculine traits so girls are being taught that you have to be a Tomboy to be a strong woman it's sad.
And I fully agree the 90's and 2000's had the best cartoons especially the ones that didn't dumb things down and are enjoyable by adults too like Thr Batman and Justice League cartoons.
But I won't lie I enjoyed some of the "girly, Girly" cartoons too with my sisters pretending to wait for my turn to put something on the TV.
Lady lovely locks was one of my favourites Lady reminded me of Helen a girl at school I liked she was very similar in personality kind and gentle but protected me from bullies without violence or even a harsh word just a "How could you look" she was respected because she was the most popular girl in school so she had power that came for respect and I admire her for it.
this was one of the most magical show of all time, The Pure Hearted beauty of it makes it one of the best. I wish they would have continued it and gave it the proper ending it deserved, the theme song was just as magical. I so love and miss the 80's
This brings back many childhood memories - watching this, along with Ulysses 31, Popples, and the Get Along Gang every Sunday morning at my grandparents' house in the mid 1980s. (I felt like Lady Lovely Locks and Raven Waves were later basically reimagined as Lark and Bianca on Beverly Hills Teens!)
I used to watch this with my sister's I pretended I was just waiting for my turn to watch something but I secretly liked it, it had action and a magical world and Lady herself she was well a Lady kind and gentle but she wasn't a damsel in distress.
She may not have been physically strong but she saved everyone with her bravery, intelligence and a little magic with the help of her friends.
She was a hero and strong in her own way using the abilities she had to over come any challenges.
She reminded me of the first girl I ever liked when a bully was beating me up the other kids just formed a circle yelling fight, fight and pushing me at him so I couldn't run away but Helen just walked through the circle.
She never said a word or pushed anyone they all just moved out of her way she just had this disappointed "How could you look on her face" I have never seen ever before or since one look and the guy left me alone and she sat with me to make sure I was OK and called the teacher over.
Maybe it was because she was respected as the most popular girl in school for her kindness and her looks, I don't know but she just saved me, it was like magic or something she was like the school Princess even became carnival Queen of the village fair, she had a different strength no woman I have ever met has.
I didn't get how I felt about her at first and once I realised I regret not having the courage to tell before her family moved away and I never saw her again since 1995.
I also had a bit of a crush on Dutchess Raven Waves as a kid I know she was a villain but I like girls with long black hair and she was occasionally nice if I remember correctly.
