I took one on 23andMe, Ancestry, Family Tree DNA and MyHeritage. They all show different results but I was more interested in finding relatives, which I've found many.
@@TheFamilyRules : The #Dominican (#Carib) often comes up #WestAfrican esp #Nigerian (chk #Yoruba) & whatever #European bloodlines R mixed in (such as #French #Spanish #Portuguese etc.) plus #Native (since indigenous people both on this continent & in the #Carib were the "First" people on these lands) .. Since I am a "mutt" as well & love you & your Family .. I've ordered a DNA kit from "23 and me" to find out what my breakdown is. No one in my Family came up #PuertoRican which we are. My 2 older sisters R part Mexican & the DNA said they were "Native" like Frances but not specifically "Mexican" that 19.8% she has of "Native" is probably Mexican b/c my Sisters' Father is Native Mexican from Puebla, Mexico. & their DNA said "Native" but not "Mexican". The DNA measures bloodlines, not cultures. Very interesting though.. Right?! As I am 100% #PuertoRican and have researched most of my Caribbean heritage already .. It will be interesting 2 do my DNA kit. I know we R very mixed. The Native is mostly Taino, Arawak & Carib. but we also have #WestAfrican (#Nigerian #Yoruba etc.) & (Southern) European which for us would prpbably be Spanish & Portuguese.. although others who R Caribbean have British, Irish, Dutch, etc. So, TJ : your Mom's heritage will come up this way & not as Dominican or Puerto Rican. Also, GrandPa #JoeJackson had #Choctaw which would come up as Native 2, not Choctaw specifically. Interesting stuff. Your Family looks like my relatives, but it's b/c we have similar bloodlines. We Latinx R a very mixed bunch across all lines. We R not " one box" kind of people. BTW, your wife Frances is amazing. You R my favorite "Celeb" couple. Your Family is amazing. 💖🌈💖
I loved the video. It is important to know where we come from. I love that Tj is a little Spanish. If we would all understand that we are a mixture of cultures and races, we would not be so racist. Besos
One of the most beautiful songs, sang by TJ' s uncle, was called "Liberian Girl". I think he may have been on to something. Maybe the King of Pop...was sending a message....to all of us.
Yes his Uncle Michael made a song called Liberian Girl, and his other Uncle Marlon talked about Nigeria when he visited there a few years back. Two African countries that are part of the Jackson dna.
Your kids would not be exactly half. Full siblings will not be exactly the same because while you pull 50% from each parent you will each pull a slightly different 50%. I have full siblings and one got more Italian while one got very little, and one got more French. One got a slight bit of Swedish while the other got none at all because they simply did not pull that bit of DNA from me.
That also holds true for finding connections with cousins to older ancestors. I got a LOT of DNA from certain lines and very little from others. That's why you test siblings and cousins! And always be prepared for surprises!!
Congratulations! Have fun learning and exploring your heritage. TJ, Dee Dee and Jo Jo laughing at your Spanish was the best. Belly jiggle laughter is from your soul. It makes you and all around feel good. Love all y'all.😘🥰🥰🥰

I read some of the comments and they're right. The only way that your children will know what they're DNA is is by taking their own test. One child may take for example, african from their father but the other child may not have any or as much.

This comment is for FRANCES...I'm sure you can see my name from my first time commenting on your "morning routine video". It's weird because I came across your videos while sitting in a dr.'s office for pre-op for a knee replacement next week. Anyway, the other video I commented on how I thought Frances reminded me when I was younger. Your sweet mannerisms and all. I'll be 55 on 7/5 so not technically older older than yall...but older. When I watched your DNA results vlog, I was like omg she must be carved from the same family. I literally have the NEARLY THE EXACT SAME DNA RESULTS AS YOU. I'm 58% British (Scotland), 7% Ireland, 15% Spain & Portuguese (hint...my name Julia). Funny...my husband's middle name is "Francis". Sometimes I call him Franny but his name is Don. He's 78% Scillian Italian. I have German, French. What's weird is my mother, aunt, grandmother are so Cherokee Indian looking (all black hair, ice blue eyes). I DID NOT pick up the Native Indian DNA. I have the unexpected 7% Armenian but my 3 siblings did not. My DNA matches very close to yours that is scary and people are strangers with close DNA. By the way, I also had rhinoplasty but the "old fashion surgery in 1999 and I'd rather have had 10 kids instead. 5 ft of packing and a splint isn't fun. My son was 10 months old, just got home from surgery and he was facing forward. He started bouncing on my lap and threw his head back right into my newly operated nose. Blood was dripping bad. That is way too much coincidence. Keep up your cute videos. As I said in the other video comment, it is refreshing and calming watching y'all. Y'all are one chill family on your videos including your children.
Hey TJ! I did some research based on what your granfather had stated before, and you actually do have Native American lineage. It wouldn't come up as Native American though, because indigenous black natives were forced to change their race from Indian to Negro. So the 23and me and other DNA tests don't properly register the bloodlines. Are you familiar with Nerog Jackson? July Gale? VERY interesting :)
Hi U don't know me but I totally agree with your comment here. Yes lots of changes. His Auntie wrote a book, and showed us one of their ancestors on Joseph's side. From here as a Black Native American. He owned land here. They stole that too according to her story. Anyway I believe all regular Black people and all of their mixers that feel they have no identity are just Natives descendant from 400 years ago born or brought here from every island including North and South America. All were changed around and renamed. We learned about most the main tribes that used to be named, before the true history was wiped away. I truly believe TJ has at least 80% native American in him because his heritage comes from Joseph and Katherine also. Frances probably have a certain amount in her too because of the color of her hair and such and she's feeling Mexican too. All of Us have European from all of this mixing. And Asian some how. Yes everything started in Africa but Tribes of Hatti Cuba Trinidad Caribbean, Jamacia, Spain France and South America and North. Puerto Rico, South Africa if any parts of it because their are 56 countries. All of the mixer up there That was all the stolen mixer from the beginning. It later just became a melting pot. Just mixed with them and Europeans. They didn't have to go to Africa to nab them. Tribes were already settled here ages ago. From all of these. Islands. This is why if every one were kidnapped it was from there. Too much heritage was broken up and changed from here ages ago. We all were conditioned Newly Americanized from our original heritage. From top hair, mind to bottom. Everyone U know that are foreign and become American unless they truly originally came from Africa, because U do see a difference U can't tell the difference from none of the islanders though accept their color. U will see that special look after they are Americanized. After I found out about those two ships that still exist called the Nina and the Penta and know how they traveled to and frow. They would land on the banks of Florida. I saw the display of them here on the Ohio a few years ago. The truth comes out and it's closer than U think. I appreciate your comment. Thank U.
Honestly, I wasn't too surprised that Frances turned out to be predominantly white, most people of Latin descent tend to be mostly European, as it's not an ethnicity, and based on his mum's last name, I figured he had to be of Spanish or Portuguese descent. It's the history nerd in me. Either way, beautiful family! I want to take one, but I'm afraid of what I would find. lol. Good video!
I actually took the same dna test that y’all took. Mine is 53% Native American, 37% Spanish/Portugal, 3.9% West African, and 2.8 North African (Arab Egyptian). But yea like you Frances I’ll always say I’m Mexican lol 😆
You do know Native American isn’t Mexican. They have separate culture. There are such things as mestizos which is a split of native American and Spaniard. As long as you have both Native American and Spaniard you are considered Mexican usually cause that’s the majority of Mexicans
Oh last thing, me, my mom, and sister did the test (few uncles and cousins too), but your kids may not be exactly a 50/50 split if you two. It’ll be interesting for them to take it once they get older to see what they got from you both.
Psalms 1:1-2 “Blessed is the one who does not walk in the step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of lockers” “but whose delights is in the law of the LORD and who mediated on his law day and night. “ Notes from Bible: “God studies this crowd of puny rebels and laughs because their light is nothing compared to his,...;Glance around and you’ll see plenty of people living against God. But you can serve God with utter respect. Prayer: Lord I pray that you would forgive for any sin I committed and any sin that I didn’t know I committed. Lord I pray for everyone in the group chat that you would heal them right now. Bring them closer to your word oh God. Please give us the Holy Spirit. Let us live by your word each day. Show me and everyone the worst areas in my and others lives that does not please you. Lord you have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and a sound of mind. I pray this right now in Jesus name, Amen 🙏🏾

Always knew the Jacksons were mixed race, but what mix i was unsure of.. really surprised there was no native american in there. Papa Joe always said he had native american in him.
Your B.I. percentage strikes me that could be where your Mum was born. Between 1939-45, people lost other people (women would be left with babies). Finances were not great back then if a woman found herself on her own with an infant. I'd say her Mum was Irish settled in England met a German partner. She could either married him, he died in the war or he let her down..... 1 of these three - sorry to be general, I feel you are an understanding person Frances and grounded enough for accepting what this experience could throw at you. Greater London at that time didn't have the NHS, that came in 1948-50 time. Nursing homes were around then for births. Your Mum's Mum sounds to me she could have been 18/19 years at this time, she would have no choice but to give her up. How she got to Cancun - you may know, people did leave UK and go to USA/Mexico area and resettled. The reason there was money, people were looking for work.
I don't mean anything by this, you could come across this easily with Family tree study. Your Mum could contact London, Be aware if Nuns and convents were involved there records are not easy come by, possible Catholic background - just giving you the heads up.
I’d love to see the DNA makeup of your brothers too, as genetically, you’re all unique - Taryll could have less or more Nigerian than you... who would be the real Nigerian Prince out of the Jackson brothers 😂😂
I saw Taj pop up in my results a few weeks ago and I’m like why is he doing this? Lol and then I saw you further down like wait a minute. And I came up on this video. (ps: I’ve always known we were related so I wasn’t shocked at that). Fun fact: did you know our Scruse name got mistakenly changed to Screws for some of our cousins? I have obituaries with both Scruse and Screws. I love this stuff.
You should do the kids too because sometimes they can have some differences than their parents. Like for example dee dee could be 25% Spanish and jo jo could only be 15% Spanish. Unless your kids are identical it want be completely the same.
*- lt's funny I thought the husband DNA would be mix African and a mixture of English white.* *- I thought the wife would be Native American and a mixture of more Spanish white. But the husband have more Spanish white 'from Spain" and the wife have more European English white, didn't see that coming.*
Why are you putting white in everything just say english and spanish you sound ridiculous nobody says japanese asian ancestry is just japanese nobody says brown native american ancestry english and spanish people are white,, spanish people are a but more tanned tho but still they are caucasian
I would love to take a DNA Test. My grandmother from my mom's side was adopted and my grandfather from my father side was adopted so we don't know 100% what we are.

I am obsessed with ancestry I did all the different companies. Are you my cousin??? Lot of love 💕 to both of you!
Thanks for sharing y’all lives with us!!
Our pleasure. Thank you for watching!
Thank U.
I love this!! Thanks for giving me the courage to find out my ancestry, I am nervous as well🙇🏿♀️
What a great idea.. I would love to know my history on genes. Yes
Now excited to know what can all come out in your fam 💕💕💕
We have no regrets. 👍🏽
I'm a bit too late with watching it but I'm now in.. And guys.. You made me laugh out in the first minutes already, too cute and very exciting to see
Great results! You are 52 % black african and 48 % european!Honnestly you got the best of both worlds .God bless your family
Ghana in the house!! 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Mother is more than 70% European and the dad is a third Spanish and Portuguese. The kids are probably more European than anything else.
This was so much fun to watch! Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for watching Samantha. 🤍
I like this video 💕Omg, Dee Dee have got a very nice Michael T-shirt💕And when finish this test.? 1 week or 2 weeks?
I did a DNA test! 😁 Boy did I get a Surprise!!! We go back to The Queens side.
So TJ does that make me a Princess. 😉😁❤
I want to take one, but I'm afraid of what I would find. lol. Good video!
He is so cute! You are a fun family to watch!
I actually took the same dna test that y’all took. Mine is 53% Native American, 37% Spanish/Portugal, 3.9% West African, and 2.8 North African (Arab Egyptian). But yea like you Frances I’ll always say I’m Mexican lol 😆
Mexicans are basically the result of Spainards procreating with the Native Mexicans so there ya go.
That’s true. It’s intriguing how it all works ❤️
Like your uncle's song " Liberian girl" ❤️
This was a great episode 😀
Thanks Sharnon!
Hey TJ and Francis, great video. There is a typo in the title. You left out the "e" in believe.
Thank you for pointing that out!
@@TheFamilyRules You're welcome.
Psalms 1:1-2
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in the step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of lockers”
“but whose delights is in the law of the LORD
and who mediated on his law day and night. “
Notes from Bible: “God studies this crowd of puny rebels and laughs because their light is nothing compared to his,...;Glance around and you’ll see plenty of people living against God.
I pray this right now in Jesus name,

What a half of a Oreo? LOL 😄
Congratulations on your show!
PS... Maybe you 2 should take another type of test to be sure?
I was sleeping sorry I missed it love you guys ❤️❤️❤️
Taking a DNA test was the best thing I ever did. I found so many family members that we are all close now and share stories! Love this!
Love that. Thanks for sharing Ashley!
@@TheFamilyRules 🥰🥰😊
@@TheFamilyRules can you try to get your father or uncles to take a DNA test as well as maybe one of your aunts ,female cousins,to get the maternal side of your grandmothers side of the family.I know her being a Jehovah witness will not go for this nor your aunt Rebbie.
Also try other DNA test to compare results.
Amazing vlog, as always 🥰
So awesome, I kinda wanna do one. My mom is from El Salvador & my dad is from Colombia but that's all I know.
If you are ready to learn more about yourself we recommend doing it as the breakdown on what we learned about ourselves was pretty thorough.
Always knew the Jacksons were mixed race, but what mix i was unsure of.. really surprised there was no native american in there. Papa Joe always said he had native american in him.
Nice video family. 😃😃😃😃 Regards from Spain
Thank you!
What a cliffhanger preview video clip!
That's Omizzle's fault. 😂
I’m tan with 3c hair, hazel almond eyes, and strong cheekbones. Turns out that I’m only 36% African and 22% Native American!
My hubby is Spanish, Portugese, Native American , German :)
Congratulations 🎈🎊🎉🍾 cool 😎 family
Thank you!!
Your B.I. percentage strikes me that could be where your Mum was born.
That’s interesting and pretty cool how it all works 😊
Haha in France "Oui-Oui" is a famous cartoon that every child know ! :D
That's really interesting ! Woaw !! ❤️
Im 42% nigerian!! Hello fam!! Also chinese and native american. With british, irish, french, german
You should do the kids too because sometimes they can have some differences than their parents. Like for example dee dee could be 25% Spanish and jo jo could only be 15% Spanish. Unless your kids are identical it want be completely the same.
Great point! Thanks for clarifying.
I’m only 17 and Ik this is how I want my family to be lmao. You guys are dope!
If you are interested in Family Trees then AncestryDNA would be better. It’s a lot easier tracing family history than you think.
*- lt's funny I thought the husband DNA would be mix African and a mixture of English white.*
*- I thought the wife would be Native American and a mixture of more Spanish white.
Hello from Romania!! I love you all!! I wish so much to do a dna test! Grate!🥰🥰🥰☺☺👏👏👏👏💙💙💙 Was grate!
This was interesting to watch.
Lol, she said a Nigerian Mandingo... I'm dead 💀
I would love to take a DNA Test. My grandmother from my mom's side was adopted and my grandfather from my father side was adopted so we don't know 100% what we are.
