Great video mate! I bought my L1e for the same reasons as you. I off road mine quite a bit and it's so much easier to chuck in the back of my van than a gas powered bike. Less smell and mess are another bonus, along with much less maintenance than a gas powered bike! Another huge bonus for me is that I can ride it legally on the road without any formal training as it's classed as a moped and I have a pre 97 license:). I have a trials and motocross background and have completed CBT's in the past so have enough experience to do it safely. I'm with you on the whole "wheelie" thing, I honestly can't see the point! Lol! I am getting a spare battery to carry so I can get more range. :)
To confirm, when riding on the road for this to stay "road legal" you have to keep it in eco/30mph mode? If you turn on sport/of road mode its no longer legal?
Well it's registered as a 125cc equivalent so I think you can use sport mode. It's a bit of a grey area. Most police and insurance don't have a clue or know the difference
Hey I just got the 2020 ktm rc125 would you be interested in a swap. I haven't used it yet because I'm doing my cbt this week I originally wanted a surron but wasn't sure about the legality so ended getting the ktm I live in surrey.

I just bought a Suzuki GSX R125. I'm selling the Sur-Ron though... If you're interested I want £3500 for it... Comes with a private number plate too!
What licence do i need?
Ino i can ride on cbt with l plated but whats the next one up? So dont need plates?
You just need a CBT
The next one up is a full license if you don't want to use L plates
@@MKBx1 I have L plates on it
@@MKBx1 Insurance companies don't ask about the cc... They just wanted the make and model.
What tracker do you have ? like your own one?
I have one from Vodafone. It's a little round one. I pay £3 a month for it.
It's called a curve
How much was the insurance
I currently pay around £800 fully comprehensive. I've only been riding for 1.5years so don't have any no claims bonus.
800 for the year? @@Sur-Ron
