ED does some great things, but for a company that prides itself on using publicly available material, they do seem to love to ignore some of the stuff that would make our lives easier.

Your fantastic with working your way round those MFDs - I tried and a VHS of Ghostbusters 2 ejected ! ! 30 years overdue fees as well. Thankfully Blockbusters has gone belly up. Top Stuff Bogey Dope 👌
I've been told by others that they have gotten IC errors on some servers. I play on private servers mostly and have not had an IC error. So in some cases, yes.
I have not had any issues with it causing any IC issues. However, I have been told by others that GG at they had IC errors. . . So, maybe depends on the server you are trying to get into.
Hello! Why, when I turn on the DGFT mode on the F-16S, I don’t get a semicircle at the bottom of the HUD. And everything sucks like in this photo? (drive.google.com/file/d/1J3OrD2BH97YbLEoMkJGFaqi3j7a94whH/view?usp=sharing) tell me please🙏 (My version of DCS is 2.5.5)
Brilliant. This is one of those quality of life things that is not a show stopper, but it really makes a difference. I even go as far as scripting my missions to I am going into the sun, so my screens don't get washed out by sunlight. Or, making a cloud layer to prevent same thing. This just adds to SA, which is the KING of attributes you need to be good in the Viper.
Absolutely love this mod, been using it for some time... but because ED are bastards, this breaks IC and i can't play on most servers with it. And they don't want to add it officially because it's "not accurate for our block".
@@BogeyDope Hoggit Training Server and some other popular servers, can't remember if it happens on Growling Sidewinder and 4YA. The game won't notice anything at first, and you can play as much as you want with other modules, but you'll get kicked because of IC failure as soon as you try to spawn in the F-16 with the mod on.

Great video, I always had trouble seeing everything on the MFDs. Can someone please tell me how to install the Mod? I am pretty new to DCS and only used Ovgme for like one time. I have no idea where to install it, even without Ovgme. Only thing I read is that it has to be in the DCS directory, not the Saved Games one. Would be really cool if someone could help me out here :) Thanks!
Hey, you need to go to your DCS World (your main installation folder)>Mods>Aircraft>F-16C>Cockpit and drag the two folders and overwrite! be aware that after every update you need to reinstall the mod because it gets overwritten by the updates!

I dont believe it is a thing for the F15E IRL but i know we can change the color in the 16 to whatever the hell we want, ive seen pink or red before lol

IMHO should be quite simple to modify the fonts by adding a black outline. Hope ED listens…

for when you fly the viper in a server that takes place in the early 90s or really late 80s, will there be a monochrome MFD where its all green?

Its actually configured through the dtc. Most of the time the Pilots dtc.

You are way out of date. Update to 2.8 to get the new updated F-16 features. A TON has happened to the Viper since 2.5

The text needs more of a shadow than a color change, it night help mimick the black outline on the real thing?
As much as i dislike mods I may have to make the exception. Yellow hi vis is so nice
