- Seeing as my 911 Carrera T couldn't make it out to Dubai, I needed a car to drive and unbelievably a friend of mine offered up his Ferrari 488 Pista! I also join Dubai Drives and a group of cars for a drive up the Jebel Jais mountain road in Ras al Khaimah.

Sam, PLEASE spend 5 mins adjusting the harnesses to ensure that the lap belt is across your hips, it will do you more harm than good across your abdomen, should the worst happen. Oh, and Clint is an absolute legend for lending you his Pista! 👍

So many people where not feeling the Pista when announced yet now it holds almost all the best track times for supercars beating the 720S on all tracks and the GT2RS on most tracks. This car is beautiful and fast on track. Love the car

Well at 13:49 on the left it is more than an engine but the great Ferrari book with his stand made to replicate an engine. Engine red covers can be opened revealing the book inside ;)

The LFA though whit that engine and i still think it looks bloody good. Have you had the chance to drive one? Also damn i need better friends and connects since my chances to get any exotic loaner is of the table at the moment.

I haven't been lucky enough to drive any Ferrari's except the F12. Would you rather have the 488 Pista or the 458 Speciale? I'd bet in the long run the the 458 will be the more desirable and expensive option. With it being the last N/A, performance edition mid-engine Ferrari. You know the sound in the Speciale is superior... But I'm very curious to which is the better driving and all around vehicle

I'm probably too weird... Because I prefer this kind of eclectic convoy on mountain roads, then a convoy in the "same category" (hypercar, trinity, supercars...etc)...
That RS6 you follow is probably more rare out here than the Pista 😂
Lots of crossing of the solid lines guys......this is also a popular cycling route, I ride it at least once per week year around - seeing you guys driving like this scares the hell out of me - please share the road safely - BTW a Dubai prison cell for fatality is not not a nice place to be

Sam I know you were sleep deprived but how could you ignore than 288 GTO??? The rarity & value of that car is immense & makes LaF's seem "meh". But IMHO, that grey 330 was the best looking.
