THE TIMBER LEGEND CONTINUES
Convenient, capable, and affordable, the E-flite® UMX™ Timber® X combines the fly-almost-anywhere advantages of the UMX Turbo Timber with the unique capabilities of the larger Timber X 1.2m. Compared to the ultra-micro Timber models that came before it, its brushless power system features a 3S-compatible outrunner motor and the wing has a shortened span, larger ailerons plus an enlarged elevator and rudder. On low rates, the controls can be smooth and docile. On high rates, they deliver eXtreme 3D capability - to fly as mild or as wild as you'd like! The full-span ailerons can also be used as flaperons for improved slow flight and STOL performance. Spektrum™ AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies are included for easier flying, and the control unit/flight controller provides real-time flight battery voltage telemetry and other data to compatible Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters. Oversized, tundra-style wheels soak up bumps and offer excellent prop clearance. Fly from grass, gravel paths, dirt trails, paved, and other surfaces, outdoors in yards, parks, sports fields and beyond, or indoors in suitable spaces including gymnasiums. Install optional floats (EFLUA1190, sold separately) to add large pools, small ponds, and lakes to your flying site options. Included LED landing, navigation and simulated strobe lights make it possible to fly from earlier to even later in the day. Constructed of advanced EPS material for a lightweight but durable airframe, the UMX Timber X arrives 100% factory-assembled and ready to bind to your 5+ channel DSMX®/DSM2® equipped transmitter. That means you can be flying within minutes of opening the box!

This is great for people who may not be quite so familiar with binding the planes. As for the bird itself, you're right - the power/auw ratio on 3cell is AWESOME at this scale.. I also like the yellow, and the nice big bush plane wheels. These large flaps will give brilliant presence in the air for such a small plane.. I can't wait to see this, slo & sexi with the flaps, and it should be possible to float this in to land just like a real one. We have a bank holiday today, so I got to watch the unboxing straight out of the box! Big salute as ever from London. 👍

Umx=more places to fly. I think AS3X and safe select is important for all foamy airplanes. Got to have it. They are light and those motors are powerful. Gents you hit a home run with that little guy. Looks like the full sized one. Can't wait to see it tear around the sky bye your famous tree!

Neat little plane. I have the original UMX Timber and fly it frequently. Believe it or not, it's an excellent plane in wind. I wonder if you can go into settings in the radio and reassign Switches for Safe/AS3X, etc.

I was moving and carrying furniture and stuff to day moving younger brother into his new house. He did well! But I don't feel half dead so it is better. AILERONS!! 😆
Great job Brothers . Such a cool little plane . Flys like the big one .and nice and fast on the 3S . The lights are really bright to , I download the radio model from Spektrum . I still had a few hick ups but got everything working fine on all the usual switches I use . Yep , never set the surfaces with SAFE on .
I found that the lower flaperon setting , didn't really do much in the air . But the 40% setting helps slow it down and give it some lift . Best of Luck on the maiden . SALUTE !! 🇨🇦

Well hello gentlemen. It is a strange coincidence that I am in the market for a UMX turbo timber and I know it's not the exact same plane that you're flying here today. You're flying the more aerobatic 3D plane. But size wise and other factors included it is going to be a enjoyable watch to see if this is the size plane I want for my local park when I can't go to the flying Field.
