The Kaos is my favorite plane. Over the years built 9 Kaos's stock and then modified them by adding 1/2 inch to the fuselage depth, moved the wing up by 1/2" and extended sheeting under wing for a completely smooth bottom surface, moved the firewall back by 1/2 inch to allow for longer engines like the OS SF .61 and lowered the engine by 3/8" for better fuel flow, reduced the side and down thrust to only 2 degrees, and increased the aileron width from 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" with fixed 2 1/2" at the tips. I found that they flew best at around 6 1/2 lbs with an OS FSR 61. That's my current one and I still love flying it.
They are great. I have two original kit built ones that are older than I am. I am 34. Both have super Tigre 61 glow engines and are some of the best flying planes ever. Mine have hundreds of flights in them. Idk exactly how old they are I remember my dad flying them when I was five and onward and have a photo of them from 1993
Had a red Kaos too in 1980.It had doped silk wings, super tough and super light. When you tapped the wing, it was hard like a drum. it was given to me when i was just 16 and learning to fly R/C. looking back, id say it was the best built plane id ever owned and flown.

I Built a Bridi Kaos 40 in 1982. HB PDP 40 power. Futaba radio - before all that computer junk! Great engine!
