I have absolutely no need to gaming phone but I do have a need for a beefy battery, smooth performance and a great screen and speakers for video. This fits the bill perfectly without looking too much like a gamer phone when I stick a case on it. And a bargain compared to the price of other flagship phones.

Such a clean look from the front. The joy of zero notch; makes an iphone look a bit last century.
iPhone looks from last century from ages now. There are the pop-up cameras phones from 2018, till the recent 2021, but they drop that design in the last 2 years for some reason I don't know, because I can't go back to a phone with punch-hole or notch, as it's scratch my eyes.
after 2 yrs fraze lag and no security update, welcome android, make it clear, write this from a iPhone 6S (release 9yrs ago and still work very well and i get security update ios 15.8.2 just few days ago

I'm not even into mobile gaming much but I'm getting the phone just for the Samsung ultra rivaling specs and the cool looks. This is one thing I love about android over iOS; the fact that you have options and not locked into 1 general design model.
You won't regret it.
I considered the ultra 24 but seeing this phone makes me want to learn more about it. The battery capacity is enticing.
@@JeffersonRah It's very good. I have a Google pixel 8 pro and have to charge it every night. If come home around 20% after work. With this phone, I literally worked two days in a row and didn't come home around 20% until the the end of the second day
I wish there were more phones with all screen displays. I hate hole punches and bezels. The OnePlus 7 Pro was the most immersive phone I ever had.
But with the worst front camera setup ever. Pop up camera was actual garbage. I think it's just not worth it yet for general phones as there are too many drawbacks. Either the phone will have awful camera quality like the Red Magic phones, or will be giga expensive if it has good under display camera quality, or will have to use the garbage pop camera which there is a reason why no company uses that nonsense anymore. Hole punch is just the best middle ground.

@@marcochavanne Seems you never had one. I never said anything about picture quality. And you say fast???? You literally have to wait for the camera to pop up every time you want to use it lmao. How in the hell is that fast. Any other camera you just instantly snap away no waiting needed. And how on earth was it flawless? It had a motor that was needed to pop the camera up and down. What happens if that motor gets damaged or malfunctioned or wear and time over time which is inevitable? You had to send in the entire phone just for them to fix the pop up camera alone. And if the pop up camera was so good as you're making it seem, then why does no other company do it anymore? Oneplus hasn't done it since. Why is that? Because it's garbage, not worth it and has way too many drawbacks. Read a dictionary and learn what fast and flawless mean. Just an uneducated take.

@@Over-mh3wr loved the pop up cam on my OnePlus 7pro giving full screen no notch or holes. pop up cam still working after 4 and half years. But now the usb c port. Is bust. Only charges with original cable. No 3.5 headphone jack adapter works any more so no wired headphones work and no OTG to attach usb sticks
If it weren't for this I would keep the OnePlus for another 2 years.
I will never ever buy a phone without a headphone jack anymore.

Looks amazing. If I had that kind of cash lying around not being need to be spent elsewhere definitely a great piece. Glad to see companies still making gaming and pocket TV a focus over phone style features.

I went from the 22ultra to the 8pro and after a year it's been an awesome phone. I think its still the coolest looking phone still, I prefer the design to the 8 than this new one but it's very close. It is a bit buggy sometimes tho, the fingerprint reader will randomly stop working then it's fine again. The screen flashes when closing apps sometimes. The alarm for some reason never worked lol it does everything it should exept won't ring or vibrate when the time comes no matter what you try. The charge separation still has never worked on mine, but when it comes to gaming it handles anything perfectly. The battery life is amazing, charges super fast. I don't regret buying it and would still recommend it to anyone who games on their phone.
4/14/24 update: Ever since redmagic finally released the major software update about 2 weeks ago, Every single issue has been solved! It's sooo much better now. Lots of new features, no more glitches, alarm works now, it's perfect now. If you were thinking of getting it now is a good time.

Can you see a difference in displays , this without Dolby Vision and HDR and those with?
I noticed the clean unobstructed screen right away, and then went peering for the underscreen camera right away, which you actually can detect in some of your closeup shots, but seriously, I'm glad to see this.
It's like after iPhone Xs came out companies carved off a chunk of the screen because consumers enjoyed it, which maybe they did find it fashionable for a period, but now everyone's finally getting back to their senses.
The last fashion statement that does nothing for functionality is adding extra cameras that are all shit. That and few future updates are seriously the only weaknesses of this phone. Wish they'd have put just a single, better quality camera on the back of this one.
EU really making these companies put back in actual useful features, now they making phone manufacturers have removable batteries again.

I literally bought the Red Magic 8S Pro in September, I'm sure it only came out in July and already the 9 Pro is out! Crazy. Looks like the exact same phone but with a spec upgrade!
Redmagic goes with 2 releases every year, a regular version with the latest chip set then a s version with a over clocked snapdragon + chip, sometimes you get a new design and better cooling sometimes it's just the chip, I'm currently rocking the 8 pro and most likely will go for the 10s pro
And better location for the camera..

AHH. This phone is selling me. Very impressive. The 3.5mm jack made it a Plus over the Oneplus that I was saving up for. Not to mention the snapdragon3. Just OH my gosh for 650 I am SO tempted. (Cna buy after saveing for the 1500 onplus.) I am being pulled so hard.

What about losing security and support after a year or 2 years? It may have great hardware to last years, but without security updates it seems like it would become obsolete like my TV in security despite the great hardware. Seems also without ingress protection it can fail in a bad situation.

A little bit smaller and this phone is the best ever, with that headphone jack as well! But... it's toooo daaaarn big!!!
I feel that maybe the selfie camera won't have the blur if they programmed it to deactive/turn off those pixels in front of that camera while it's in use. Just a guess though, don't know if that would help or if it's even possible.
The mic when recording selfie video was good too. I'm getting it as soon as I can.

10:34 The one thing and one thing only that bugged me was the headphone jack placement. If its near the triggers i can manage playing ok. If its one the opposite side, ill destroy the headphones or my hands over time... I only use wired headphones. Wish they can have it on the side you just mentioned in the future. Im a loya customer and im playing on getting it in a month or so :')
