Nyxterious- - even if the kid fell the dolphin would be there to help him. Dolphins in the past and present have been known to rescue people from shipwrecks, sharks etc. they are cognizant if other beings.

I've seen a video here on youtube where DOLPHINS RISK THEIR LIVES TO PROTECT A PREGNANT WOMAN IN THE OCEAN WHO IS SURROUNDED BY A SHARK! The dolphins quickly called for each other, and more and more came and made a protective fence around the woman so that the shark could not get to her, as the woman swam back to safe land.

I feel so sorry for this dolphin. They shouldn’t live in these conditions. Most of those dolphins and belugas have probably been caught in the wild from taiji or other places throughout the world.
Please don’t buy a ticket for these types of things. Support SeaWorlds rescue program if you want but don’t support the live trade of marine mammals
DreamScapes omg. It’s a child playing with a dolphin ease up for like 2 seconds because both of them were having fun.
Actually most of the dolphins and belugas there nowadays are rescues who can't live outside of human care. It's really sad but it's better here than dead.
Yuo if it was “human care” they wouldn’t be teaching them how to jump through hoops or balance a ball on their noses. These dolphins probably show stereotypical behaviour like a lot of the cetaceans in captivity do, like just floating repetitively, hitting their head etc.
I don’t encourage places with dolphins because a lot of them are captured from the Taiji dolphins hunts every year which also kills dolphins for their meats and the ‘pretty’ ones are used for captive purposes.
DreamScapes I assume this is an aquarium. It’s better to live in an aquarium where workers can keep an eye on them, instead of living in the ocean where they could easily become prey to other sea creatures.

It is like saying I am going to stay in my house my whole life, I am not going out because it is dangerous, I could be killed! Better to be free than to be "safe" and never taking any risks. No way a Dolphin is happier in a pool than the ocean.

Correct. In the water they are essentially weightless. On land their weight is crushing them. They are too nice due to having become overly compliant, a syndrome seen in humans who've been institutionalized. The dolphin deliberately tosses the ball away from the child twice. On the first one he slips back into the pool. People shouldn't be swayed by the "smile".
